WHAT IS A DISSERTATION?
Dissertations are the outcome of independent research. You are expected, with some guidance from a supervisor, to design and conduct the research yourself. It is not a matter of trying to answer an examination question or writing an assessed essay on a pre-determined topic. On the contrary: You choose the topic You work out how to study it You collect and assess relevant information You analyse and criticise the information You write the account of how it was all done in 15,000

SUBMISSION ARRANGEMENTS
You are required to submit bound 2 hard copies of your work to the Business School Reception by 15:00 and 1 electronic copy submitted via Blackboard. One hard copy will be retained for the library and one will be available for your collection after the assessment process has been completed. The electronic copy will be used to check for plagiarism. In addition to the copies of the dissertation, you must include Ethical Approval form (EA1/EA2).
