英语四年级下教学设计:
Step 1 Warm up
1.学生听唱歌曲“What’s the weather like today ?”学生对本课的
学习有了一个初步的认识。
2.询问今天天气,了解今天的天气。
Have a free talk about today’s weather.
Step 2. Presentation
T Say,“I have a new friends Cindy .Cindy wants to travel around the world. Do you want to go with her?”Make the students know the tour route. And concern the weather there.
第一站:Sydney. 通过一段视频展示悉尼的风光。Then ask, “What’s the weather like in Sydney ? ”“It’s sunny.”学习单词“sunny”。同时了解关于sunny的天气符号。
用同样的方法及风声、雨声和图片等向同学们介绍Singapore/London/Moscow/Beijing等地的天气.并跟读学习单词:cloudy/rainy/snowy/windy.
Step 3 Interesting practice
1.play a guessing game.
2. :教师用课件呈现伦敦的大本钟,莫斯科红场、新加坡的街景、悉尼歌剧院的图片的图片,运用“What’s the weather like in……?
It’s rainy/cloudy/…in Moscow/Singapore/…”让学生操练。Step 4.Let’s play
TSay, “There are many intersting places in China. Eg.Kunming, Harbin, Shanghai, Qingdao, Guiyang. Let’s go.”
Show the pictures of these cities and ask them to talk about the weather there.First give them an example:
A: what’s the weather like in Kunming?
B: It’s cold and snowy in Kunming.
A: No, it’s warm in Kunming now.
Then ask them to talk about the weather in other cities by using the cards.
Step 5.Extension
1.We need some weather reporters. Do you want to be a weather reporter? Come and have a try! 教师先做示范: Here’s the weather report.
It’s cloudy in Beijing. It’s…in…鼓励学生大胆上台应聘. 2. Say, “Sometimes the weather is terrible.”Show some pictures about terrible weather.Tell the students how to pretect the environment.Then it will be better.
Step 6. Summary and homework
Sum up the words and sentences we learnt.
Step 7. Homework:
1.Read the words we learnt.
2.Prepare a weather report about Jining.
