被动语态

“被动语态（passive voice)”是动词的一种形式，用以说明主语与谓语动词之间的关系。英语的语态有两种：主动语态和被动语态。主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者，被动语态表示主语是动作的承受着。

将主动语态转换为被动语态的过程中，应注意以下结构的转换方式：主语+谓语动词+宾语，例如：The cat caught the mouse. →The mouse was caught by the cat.

【注意】

a.只有及物动词才能用于被动语态，不及物动词及表示状态而不是动作的动词如：cost, fit，have, lack等不能用于被动语态。及物动词指后面可直接跟宾语的动词，如：ask，buy, do 等；不及物动词指不能直接跟宾语的动词，如:arrive，die等。

例如：He was asked to give a speech to the students. (√)他被要求给学生们做一个演讲。

The train was arrived on time, (×)火车准时到达。(The train arrived on time.)

b.表示主语是动作的承受者，动作执行者一般由by引出。

例如：The teachers are respected by their students.老师们被他们的学生们所尊重。

c.侧重说明主语接受动作，无需或无法知道动作的执行者是谁，这时，动作的执行者无需引出。

例如：Computers are used everywhere nowadays. 如今电脑无处不用。
