请阅读下面文字,并按照要求用英语写一篇150词左右的文章。

Our family will go on a trip next month and need asuitcase. Two days ago. Mom asked me to find relevant information on theinternet. But the information I got was rich and varied, or even contradictory. Confused, I simply based my decision on the ratings. Within five minutes, we ordered the one we were satisfied with. Thisafternoon, Mom received the case and told me she liked it very much.

This morning, our family went out, hanging round in the downtown area. We found a rating of the Top Ten Restaurants, and went into one of them. We spent quite a lot of money, but were not happy. Mom complaineda lot, and said that despite its high ratings, the food was not to our taste. Iwas puzzled. Should I believe in these ratings, or should I not?

一、如何写概括:

1.题干的关键词

关键词:排名( ratings)进行消费,这就是概括的核心。

2.段落的关键词

对于记叙文,一般有两种情况,一是举例;二是通篇一个故事。对于前者,只需要知道例子说明什么论点,对于后者,需要知道主要角色做了什么事,带来什么结果。

结合题干可知,要求概括现象,即两个例子说明了什么现象。切忌写例子里面的每个人发生了什么事。

两个故事都是对ratings的评价,第一个的评价:like it; 第二个评价:complaining。

3.关键词的替换

1. like it--> produce positive effects, a good impression

2. complain --> don’t meet needs, negativ eeffects, mislead 基本上概括不需要很复杂的句型,主要是把大意说明白:

先看概括示范:

The traffic issue is a hard nut to crack. It notonly affects our everyday life, but may also threaten people’s lives. The threeselections presented above are typical examples.

我的写法:

Ratings for commodities are a double-edged sword.They can help consumers make sound decisions, but sometimes mislead them and bring about complaints. The two stories presented above are typical examples. (30个词)

我的心得:

针对现象的概括,不要具体写内容,重点是:现象是什么,一般都是什么趋势;结果或评价是什么,一般都是带来什么影响,支持或反对。

二、如何写正文

思维:我这里以反对为例:

1.从政府角度(可能涉及到法规,监管):

缺乏具体法规(there areno laws or policies and supervision)来规范市场排名

2.从商家的角度(可能涉及到责任):

过多广告投入,而不是质量(give priority to ads)

3.从个人角度:

盲目随大流(follow the crowd blindly)

思维有了,但还需要整合的:

前两个要点可以合并,政府缺少法规,导致商家可以不择手段来提高排名。其实也可以举例,譬如百度竞价排名,但写起来不容易。

关键是如何论证消费者只是盲目随大流,考生可能有两种思考:

1.消费者想当然认为排名代表了质量—》实际上质量高的很多产品因为投入不高无法参加排名

2. 消费者想当然认为排名代表了受欢迎度—》实际上产品只是定制部分消费者的,他们的体验被夸大而影响别人

第一个论据和前面第一个论点重复了,因为前面说的是质量,这里还是说质量;第二个论据就比较切合文章的第二个例子:the food was not to our taste.

I don’t support such ratings. First, the absence of policies and supervisions allows producers to earn high ratings by all means. Chances are that top priority is given to advertisement, which is an open invitation to misleading information. Eventually, ratings rely heavily on investment inadvertisement rather than the quality of services. Besides, it is not uncommon for individuals to follow the crowd blindly without critical thinking.They take it for granted that ratings definitely equal popularity. Actually, many products are targeted at special consumers, whose experience tends to be exaggerated and influences others. So, it is safe to conclude that ratings of purchases, if not handled properly, weigh against the development of a healthy market and cause unfair marketcompetitions
