1My Favorite ClothesHi there! My name is Emma and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite clothes. Clothes are so much fun because you can express your personality through what you wear. I have lots of different outfits for different occasions and moods. One of my absolute favorite things to wear is dresses! I just love how twirly and flowy they are. My favorite dress is light blue with white polka dots. It has a big skirt that's perfect for spinning around and around. I especially like to wear it on sunny days at the park or playdates with my friends. When I wear that dress, I feel like a princess! For school, I have a bunch of nice shirts, pants, shorts, and skirts. My mom makes sure I have many options so I don't get bored wearing the same things over and over. I really like my yellow t-shirt with a smiley face on it. Yellow is such a happy, sunny color! I also have this great pair of overalls with sunflowers embroidered on the front pocket. Super cute! My favorite skirt isdenim with colorful butterflies. I pair it with my pink Converse sneakers for a fun, casual look. When it's cold outside, I love bundling up in warm sweaters and coats. My grandma knitted me the most amazing baby blue cardigan. It's so soft and cozy. For winter, my go-to jacket is my puffy purple coat. It keeps me so toasty even when it's freezing! And I can't forget my rainbow beanie with a fuzzy pom pom on top. It always brightens up a dreary winter day.Pajamas are another must-have for me! There's nothing better than slipping into soft, comfy PJs after a long day. I have a pair of unicorn pajamas that have a rainbow mane and a horn on the hood. So magical! My other favorites are my dinosaur onesie with footies and my set of cupcake print pajamas. I feel like I'm at a constant slumber party in those!I have to admit, I'm a bit of a clotheshorse. I just love expressing myself through fun, colorful, and unique outfits. Picking out what to wear each day is one of my favorite parts of my routine. Who knows, maybe I'll be a fashion designer when I grow up! For now though, I'm just happy dressing up and feeling confident in whatever I wear. Clothes are the best!So those are some of my favorite clothes and outfits. What about you? What are your go-to, must-have clothes? I'd love tohear all about the fashions you love rocking! Thanks for reading my clothing story. Get out there andwork those looks!篇2My Favorite SeasonMy favorite season is summer! I love the warm weather, spending time outside playing with my friends, and all the fun activities we get to do. Summer is the best season of the year in my opinion. Let me tell you all about why I love it so much.First of all, the weather in summer is amazing. After the cold winter months, it feels so nice to have the sun shining bright and warm. I love being able to wear shorts and t-shirts instead of heavy jackets and sweaters. On really hot days, sometimes my mom lets me run through the sprinklers in the backyard to cool off. That's so much fun! We also go swimming at the community pool a lot during summer vacation. Splashing around in the cool water is very refreshing when it's hot outside. Summer has the perfect weather for being active and playing outdoors all day.Another reason I love summer is that I get a huge break from school! Don't get me wrong, I like school and learning new things. But it's really nice to have a couple months off to just relax and have fun. I don't have to wake up really early, and Idon't have any homework to do. The morning schedule is very relaxing - I can sleep in late, watch cartoons in my pajamas, and then go out and play whenever I want. No strict schedule to follow! Summer vacation is the ultimate freedom for a kid.My friends and I have so much fun in the summer. We ride our bikes all around the neighborhood and parks nearby. We have water balloon fights to cool off. We play basketball, baseball, and other sports in the driveway or at the recreation center. Sometimes we set up a lemonade stand to try and make a little money. Other times we just hang out, listen to music, and tell jokes and stories. With no school, we have plenty of time to goof around and be kids. Summer is the best time to make fun memories with your closest friends. There are always lots of fun activities and events happening in the summer too. Whenever my family goes on vacation during summer break, we always have an amazing time. Last year, we went to the beach for a week. We swam in the ocean, built sandcastles, and I even took surfing lessons! It was so cool. Sometimes we go camping in the mountains and sleep outdoors in tents. We roast marshmallows, go hiking on trails, and just enjoy being in nature. In our hometown, there are festivals, carnivals, concerts in the park, and all sorts of other events onlyhappening in the summertime. It's impossible to be bored when there is so much excitement going on!As you can probably tell, I really, really love summer. From the warm weather to the fun outdoor activities, vacations, sports, and holiday celebrations - summer is just the ultimate season for a kid. We get so much freedom and opportunities to play, be creative, and make lots of awesome memories. Those couple of months fly by so fast though. By the time August rolls around, I'm already dreading having to go back to school! I wish summer could last forever. Waking up early, sitting at a desk all day, and having a bunch of homework and tests just isn't as fun. But I try not to think about that too much. Instead, I focus on soaking up every second of summer fun while I can. I'll keep playing outside from sunrise to sundown until the very last day of summer vacation!篇3My Favorite AnimalsHi there! My name is Emma and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite animals. Get ready to learn some awesome animal facts!First up are elephants. These huge giants are one of the biggest land animals on Earth. Can you believe an elephant's trunk has around 100,000 muscles in it? That's more muscles than there are in the entire human body! With their trunks, elephants can use them like arms to pick up food, snap branches off trees, and even give themselves a shower. How cool is that?Elephants are super smart too. They have excellent memories and can remember routes to watering holes over huge distances, even if they haven't been there for years. Elephants also seem to mourn their dead and have burial rituals. And did you know that old lady elephants lead their herds? The youngsters have to listen to their elders.I think my favorite elephant fact though is that they are fantastic swimmers! They use their trunk as a snorkel when they swim underwater. I'd love to see a whole herd of elephants splashing in a lake or river one day. That would be the best!Okay, time to switch it up to a teeny tiny animal - the pygmy shrew! These little critters are the smallest mammals on our planet. They're only about 5cm long from their nose to the tip of their tail which is just a bit bigger than my pencil case.Pygmy shrews have a crazy fast heartbeat of over 1,000 beats per minute! They have to eat constantly, like every 2-3hours, because their metabolism is going so quickly. A pygmy shrew that doesn't eat will starve within a few short hours. That's why these mini beasts munch on insects, worms, and anything else they can find all day and night long.Even though they're small, pygmy shrews are vicious little predators. They will attack and eat frogs, birds, mice and even snakes that are much bigger than them. I wouldn't want to get on their bad side! I think they're cute but deadly. My next favorite creature swings through the rainforest trees - it's the orangutan! The name "orangutan" literally means "person of the forest" in the Malay language. That's because these great apes are one of humans' closest living relatives along with gorillas and chimpanzees.Orangutans are the largest arboreal (tree-living) mammals in the world. Most of their day is spent snacking on fruits, leaves, bark and making comfy nests in the trees where they sleep. They mainly live alone but come together to have babies and meet friends occasionally. These orange fur-balls are gentle giants that are incredibly strong. An adult male orangutan has the strength to bend a baseball bat or branch as thick as a human wrist! They use thisbrawn to break open hard fruit shells and build their tree nests every night before going to sleep.Unfortunately, orangutan numbers are dwindling every year as loggers cut down more and more rainforests for things like palm oil plantations. It's making me sad just thinking about these amazing primates losing their forest homes. We need to protect them and their habitats!Phew, I've talked about so many awesome animals already but don't worry, I've got lots more favorites to share! Next up are my beloved dogs. I'm lucky enough to have a cute little Pomeranian pup at home named Teddy.Dogs are amazing companions. They seem to have this special ability to understand human emotions and make us feel so loved. Teddy always knows when I'm feeling down and will come give me kisses and cuddle up on my lap.Our furry best friends can learn tons of words and tricks too, sometimes hundreds of different commands! The smartest dogs like Border Collies can even outperform chimpanzees on intelligence tests. Teddy's not quite that clever yet but he's getting there with "sit", "stay", and "rollover".You know how dogs are always sniffing around with their noses to the ground? That's because they have over 300 million scent receptors in their snoots compared to only 6 million for us humans. Their sense of smell is at least 10,000 times better than ours! Dogs can track a scent trail that's weeks old and pick up on smells from miles away. My dog's nose puts my own to shame.I could gush about dogs all day but I need to give some attention to my other favorites like the majestic lion! These powerful felines are often called the "King of the Beasts" and it's easy to see why.Male lions are recognized by their thick manes that make them look so regal and proud. But do you know what those luscious locks are actually for? Protecting their necks when fighting rivals! Those manes act like a shield to minimize injuries from bites and scratches during battles.Female lionesses may not have the gorgeous manes but they are the real queens of the pride. These magnificent huntresses work together as a fierce team to bring down huge prey like zebras, wildebeests and even baby elephants sometimes! A single lioness can take down a male impala or antelope easily on her own. While the ladies do all the hard work hunting and protecting the young cubs, male lions spend most of their time patrolling their territory and guarding the pride. I think I'd rather be a fierce lioness than a lazy boy lion to be honest! The last animal all-star I want to praise is the humble and hard-working honey bee. These tiny bugs are straight up LIFESAVERS for our planet! Here's the buzz on why they're so unbelievably important:As pollinators, honey bees are responsible for one out of every three bites of food that we eat. While they're gathering sugary nectar from flowers to make honey, they're also spreading pollen and enabling plants, veggies, fruits and nuts to grow. Without bees, our diets would be super boring and limited.A single honey bee colony can have up to 60,000 worker bees constantly flying around pollinating plants and bringing nutrients back to the hive. During their short flying season, one colony can gather enough pollen to create over 450 pounds of honey! I don't know about you but I'll take a spoonful or two.Sadly, lots of bee populations around the world are shrinking at scary rates due to problems like disease, insecticides, and climate change destroying their habitats. We have to doeverything we can to protect these tiny heroes that keep our world blooming!Well that's a wrap on my long list of amazing animals. Getting to learn all about elephants, tiny shrews, swinging orangutans, dogs, rulers-of-the-jungle lions, and hard-working honey bees has been so much fun.Our planet is home to over 8 million different species and each one is incredibly special in its own unique way. Animals are straight up miracles of nature and we need to take care of them all! Who's with me?篇4My Favorite AnimalsHi, my name is Danny and I'm in third grade. Our class just started a new unit all about animals! It's so cool learning about different creatures. My teacher says there are millions of different animal species on our planet. Can you believe that? Millions! I don't even know that many people. In this unit, we're going to learn about mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and insects. I'm really excited because animals are my favorite thing ever. I have a dog named Rufuswho is a golden retriever. He's the best dog in the whole world! I also used to have a goldfish but he died. His name was Bubbles. I was really sad when he passed away.Anyways, let me tell you about some of the animals we've learned about so far. We started with mammals because the teacher said humans are mammals too! Isn't that crazy? We're mammals just like dogs, cats, cows, and elephants. Mammals are warm-blooded animals that grow hair or fur and feed their babies milk from the mom's body.My favorite mammal that we learned about is the giant panda. Pandas are so cute and cuddly! They're black and white and have those funny black eye patches. Pandas mainly eat bamboo, which is a type of plant. Can you imagine only eating plants for every meal? I'd get so bored! But I guess pandas like bamboo a lot.Pandas are endangered, which means there aren't very many of them left in the wild. The teacher said it's because their forest homes in China are being destroyed by humans. That made me really sad. I don't want pandas to go extinct! We all need to protect animal habitats so amazing creatures like pandas can live safely. After mammals, we started learning about birds. I think birds are incredible because they can fly! How cool is it to just spread your wings and soar through the sky? The teacher says birds are warm-blooded too, and they have feathers, wings, and beaks instead of hair, arms, and mouths. My favorite bird is the bald eagle because it's the symbol of America. Eagles are powerful hunters with excellent eyesight and strong talons to catch prey. Some other cool birds we learned about are penguins, owls, and flamingos. Penguins are so funny waddling around on land, but did you know they're excellent swimmers? Owls can turn their heads almost all the way around - I tried it and got dizzy! And flamingos get their bright pink color from shrimp and algae that they eat. Nature is awesome!I can't wait to learn about the other animal groups too. Reptiles like snakes, lizards, and turtles seem scary but also really neat. And amphibians like frogs live part of their lives in water and part on land. The frog life cycle sounds crazy!Fish are going to be fun to study since they live underwater in the ocean and lakes. I went fishing once with my dad and caught a tiny sunfish. And insects like butterflies, bees, and ladybugs are everywhere around us too. Who knew there was so much to learn about these little critters?I have to say though, my favorites so far are definitely the mammals and birds. I just love furry or feathery animals the most. Although my dog Rufus sometimes makes me wonder why I like mammals - he's always barking, digging holes, and making messes! But he's still a great pal.I really hope we get to go on a field trip to see some live animals at a zoo or aquarium. That would be the best day ever! Reading about them is great, but getting to see and maybe even touch some animals up close would be incredible. Maybe the zookeepers would let me feed a giraffe or pet a soft rabbit. A guy can dream, right? This unit on animals has been my favorite so far. I'm learning so many new facts every day about different species, their behaviors, habitats, and how we can protect them. My brain is just soaking it all up like a sponge! Except for when we have to take quizzes and tests - then my brain feels more like a raisin that's all shriveled up.But I really do love animals so much. They're just so interesting, diverse, and important to the environment. The teacher says without animals, the whole planet's ecosystem would collapse. That's definitely not something I want to seehappen! Animals in danger is one of the reasons I want to be a marine biologist when I grow up and help protect ocean life.Well, I should probably stop rambling now. I have so much more I could say about these awesome creatures, but I have to save some energy for actually doing my homework! Let me know if you ever want to hear more about my favorite mammals, birds, or any other animals. I'll keep studying hard in this unit because animals are just the coolest. Thanks for reading! Catch ya later, animal lovers!篇5Title: My Awesome FamilyHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm a third-grader. In our English class, we're learning all about families, and I can't wait to tell you about my amazing family!First, let me introduce you to my parents. My dad's name is Mike, and he's the funniest person I know. He always makes me laugh with his silly jokes and funny voices. My mom is called Sarah, and she's the kindest person ever. She's always there to give me a big hug whenever I'm feeling sad or scared.I have an older brother named Jack, and he's the coolest! He's really good at sports, especially soccer and basketball. Sometimes, he even lets me join in when he's playing with his friends. I also have a younger sister named Lucy. She's only five years old, but she's already really smart. She loves to read books and do puzzles. We live in a big house with a nice backyard. My favorite part of our house is the living room because that's where we all gather to watch movies together. We have a huge couch where we all snuggle up with blankets and popcorn. It's so cozy and fun!My family loves to go on adventures together. Last summer, we went on a camping trip in the mountains. We hiked, swam in a lake, and even saw a bear (from a safe distance, of course!). It was such an exciting trip, and we all had a blast.Another thing I love about my family is that we celebrate all kinds of holidays and special occasions together. For Christmas, we decorate our tree, bake cookies, and exchange presents. On my birthday, my parents always throw me a big party with cake, games, and all my friends. But the thing I love most about my family is how supportive and loving they are. When I'm having a hard time at school orwith friends, my parents and siblings are always there to listen and offer advice. They encourage me to do my best and never give up.One of my favorite family traditions is our weekly game night. We turn off all our devices and gather around the table to play board games or card games. It's always a night filled with laughter, friendly competition, and quality time together.I'm so grateful to have such an amazing family. They make me feel safe, loved, and supported every single day. I know that no matter what challenges life throws my way, my family will always be there to help me through it.So, that's my awesome family! I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about them. I can't imagine my life without their love, laughter, and support. Family is the most important thing in the world to me.篇6My Big FamilyHi, my name is Emma and I'm 9 years old. I live with my mom, dad, little brother Sam, grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, and twocousins. We all live together in one big house! It's really fun but also kind of crazy with so many people around. My mom works at a bookstore downtown. She leaves pretty early in the morning after making us breakfast. My dad is a teacher at the elementary school I go to. He's really nice but some of the kids say he gives too much homework! My little brother Sam is 6 years old and just started 1st grade this year.Grandma and Grandpa live with us too. Grandpa is retired but Grandma still has a job. A few days a week she goes and takes care of babies at a daycare center. Grandma and Grandpa's room is downstairs. Grandpa spends his days reading books, watching TV, and napping! Grandma cooks for all of us a lot. She makes the best spaghetti and meatballs. My aunt and uncle and their two kids also live here. My aunt is a nurse and works strange hours, sometimes overnight. Her husband, my uncle, owns a restaurant downtown. My cousins are twins - a boy and a girl named Jack and Jill. They just turned 7. We all have to share the upstairs bathroom which can be annoying in the mornings when everyone needs to get ready for school and work!On the weekends, the whole family gets together for a big breakfast. Grandma cooks pancakes, eggs, bacon, and more. Weall eat together at the big dining room table. After we clean up, the kids go out and play in the backyard. The adults watch TV or do work around the house. At night after dinner, we all go our separate ways. The kids work on homework, my dad grades papers, mom reads, and the grandparents watch TV. But we all come back together to watch a movie or play games before bedtime. It's really nice having my whole family under one roof.Taking care of such a big family isn't easy. There's a lot of cooking, cleaning, and laundry to be done. But we all help out however we can. The kids all have regular chores like making our beds, cleaning our rooms, and helping set the table. The teenagers do yard work and other jobs around the house.Sometimes it can get kind of crowded and loud with so many people. We don't have much privacy. If someone is hogging the bathroom for too long, we bang on the door to hurry them up! And at the dinner table, everyone talks over each other trying to share their day.But most of the time, I feel really lucky to have such a big, close family. We get to experience so many different personalities and cultures. Uncle Jose is from Mexico so he teaches us Spanish. Aunt Rachel is Jewish so we learn about herholidays and traditions too. Having grandparents around is the best - they spoil us rotten and always have cute nicknames for us! Sleepovers are a blast with all my cousins together. My friends think having such a huge family must be crazy. And it definitely can be sometimes! But I wouldn't want it any other way. I have so many people who love me and always have my back. My house is overflowing with laughter, warmth, and good food. Sure, we bicker and get on each other's nerves now and then. But at the end of the day, we're family. And family means everything sticks together, no matter what. I feel very fortunate to be part of my big, beautiful family.。

三年级下册英语第二单元评课稿范文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Unit 2 Lesson EvaluationThis unit was all about "My Day" and learning vocabulary and phrases related to daily routines and activities. I thought it was a really fun and useful unit!First, we started by learning some key vocabulary words like "wake up", "brush my teeth", "get dressed", "have breakfast" and more. The textbook had really colorful pictures that helped me remember what each word meant. Our teacher also brought in props like a toothbrush, bowl, and pajamas which made it even more entertaining to learn the new words. We practiced the vocabulary through lots of different activities like flashcard games, singing songs, and acting out the morning routines. I especially loved the "What comes next?" game where we had to put the daily actions in the right order. It really helped cement the vocabulary in my mind. After we had learned the basic words, we moved on to talking about times of day and describing our schedules. Thiswas a bit trickier for me because telling time is still something I'm working on. But the textbook had lots of examples and practice activities focused just on telling time using phrases like "at 7o'clock", "in the morning/afternoon/evening", etc.By the end of that section, I felt pretty confident using simple phrases like "I wake up at 7 o'clock" or "I have dinner at 6 PM." We even did a fun project where we wrote out and illustrated our own daily schedules to share with the class. The part I struggled with most in this unit was using frequency adverbs like "always", "usually", "sometimes" and "never." There were so many of them to remember and learn how to use properly. The textbook had some fill-in-the-blank exercises but I think I needed even more practice with those. However, my favorite part of the whole unit was when we learned how to ask and answer questions about daily routines using "What time do you..." and "When do you..." I loved getting to interview my classmates and find out how their days differed from mine. It was really interesting to learn about the different schedules and routines we all have.We wrapped up the unit by doing roleplays in small groups where we pretended to interview each other about our daily livesusing all the phrases and vocabulary we had learned. I think doing that really solidified everything for me.Overall, I feel like I know so much more vocabulary about daily routines now and can use basic phrases to describe my own schedule pretty well. Asking questions is still a little hard for me, but I'm slowly improving. I'd give this unit an 8 out of 10 - it was very practical and useful, but some of the grammar points were pretty challenging for a third grader. With more time and practice though, I know I'll have those vocabulary words and phrases down pat!篇2Unit 2 ReviewHi everyone! I'm going to tell you all about Unit 2 in our English book. This unit was called "My Neighborhood" and it taught us lots of cool things about places around where we live. The first lesson introduced words for different buildings and places we might see in our neighborhood. Some of the new vocabulary words were "park", "library", "supermarket", "hospital", "restaurant", and "movie theater". I thought the pictures helped me learn the words really well. My favorite activity was when we had to draw our own neighborhood mapand label all the places. I drew my house, the school, the playground, and the ice cream shop!Next we learned about prepositions like "next to", "across from", "between", and "on the corner of". These helped us describe where things are located. I practiced by closing my eyes and listening to my teacher say sentences like "The library is across from the park." Then I had to point to those places on the neighborhood map. It was hard at first but I got better! One reading was about a boy named Jack who was going to meet his friends at the movies. He walked there and the story used a lot of those preposition words to show his path, like "He turned left at the corner of Oak Street and Main Street." I could really picture where he was going. At the end of the story there were comprehension questions and I loved raising my hand to answer those.Another lesson focused on asking and giving directions. We learned question starters like "How do I get to..." and "Which way is..." We also learned to use instructional phrases like "Go straight", "Turn right", and "Walk two blocks." My best friend Sam and I pretended one of us was a tourist and the other had to tell them how to get somewhere in our neighborhood. It was really fun!One of my favorite activities was when we all got into small groups and did a neighborhood scavenger hunt. The teacher gave each group a list of things to find around the school like "something green", "a circular shape", and "a road sign." We had to walk around looking carefully and checking things off our list. My group found a green leaf, a stop sign, and even a manhole cover! We also read a funny story called "The Lost Puppy" about a little dog who got loose and wandered all over the neighborhood. The story was full of descriptive words for buildings and places, so you could imagine where the puppy was at each part. There was an illustration on each page too. At the end, the puppy ended up back at his house across from the park. Phew! For the unit project, we had to make a 3D model of our neighborhood out of craft supplies like boxes, clay, popsicle sticks, and construction paper. I made my house, the corner store, and the swingsets at the park. It was really neat to see everyone's creative neighborhood models at the end. Some people even included roads, trees, and little pedestrians!Overall, I think Unit 2 was awesome and I learned so many good English words and skills for describing my neighborhood.Knowing prepositions and directions will definitely help me if I ever get lost or need to explain to someone how to get somewhere. The stories and activities made it way more fun than just memorizing vocab words from a list.I'm already excited for the next unit, which is called "Delicious Foods" from what I've seen in the table of contents. I can't wait to learn all about different foods, maybe some crazy ingredients, and how to order at a restaurant. English class is my favorite!篇3Unit 2 Lesson Plan EvaluationThis unit was all about foods, meals, and healthy eating habits. I thought it was a really fun and engaging unit! We learned lots of new vocabulary words for different foods, how to talk about foods we like and dislike, and how to describe our eating routines. The lessons had a good mix of activities to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing.VocabularyWe started by learning the words for different categories of foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins, and dairy. I already knew words like "apple", "carrot", and "milk" but I learned lots ofnew ones too. Some of the trickier words for me were "broccoli", "lentils", and "yogurt". We played fun games like Word Wizard and Food Pyramid to practice identifying and categorizing the new words. Then we moved on to words for meals and dishes, like "breakfast", "lunch", "dinner", "sandwich", "soup", and "salad". I loved the picture flashcards we used to learn and review these words. We also learned adjectives to describe tastes, like "sweet", "sour", "spicy", and "bitter". Finally, we learned phrase chunks to express food preferences like "I like...", "I don't like...", "My favorite food is...", and "I'm allergic to...".Listening & SpeakingOne of my favorite activities was when we did surveys, asking and answering questions about our favorite foods and eating habits. We had to listen carefully to our partners' responses and repeat back what we heard. It was fun to find out how many people liked pizza best or preferred breakfast over other meals. We also did lots of fun role-plays, like ordering food at a restaurant or having a conversation about healthy vs unhealthy snacks. The teacher gave us realistic prompts and dialoguemodels to follow. I got to practice my speaking skills while also using the new vocabulary from the unit. For listening practice, we watched videos and did information gap activities. One video was about kids making their own healthy lunchboxes. We had to check off the ingredients they used from a list. Another time, we worked in groups to put picture cards in the right order to match a story we heard about a family's morning routine.Reading & WritingWe read simple stories, articles, and menus related to the unit topic. The readings helped reinforce the vocabulary and grammar from the unit, like using "some" and "any" with food words. The stories were engaging and had funny illustrations, like one about a boy who only wanted to eat pizza for every meal. For writing, we filled out graphic organizers to plan and then wrote paragraphs describing our favorite meal or our typical eating routine. We also created fun "dream menus" for an imaginary restaurant and had to include descriptions of the dishes. My menu was all desserts and sweets! We worked hard on using transition words and conjunctions to connect our sentences.Games & ActivitiesThis unit had so many interactive games and hands-on activities to make it more engaging. We played food vocabulary Bingo and did dictionary races to review the words. In one funny task, we had to categorize pictures of different foods as "Healthy" or "Unhealthy" snacks and then explain our reasoning. We also did a project where we created posters advertising a "new" healthy snack or dish. We had to include persuasive language and descriptive words to make it sound appealing. My group's snack was "Rainbowlicious Fruit Kebabs".Another time, we got into small groups and each group was assigned a different meal - breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack. We had to work together to plan a balanced menu with healthy options from all the different food groups. It was a good way to apply what we learned about nutrition.Overall ThoughtsI really enjoyed this unit and learned so much practical vocabulary and expressions related to food, meals, and eating habits. The lessons had a nice mixture of activities to work on all four skills - speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Everything was very hands-on, interactive, and engaging. Some units can feel repetitive if we just do boring worksheets or drills over and over. But this one had us up and moving, working in groups, creating projects, and using the language in communicative scenarios. The role-plays, games, videos, and other multimedia resources made it fun and helped bring the language to life. The lessons were well-structured too. We started by building the core vocabulary, then learned phrases and chunks to have basic conversations. The later lessons introduced grammar points like count/non-count nouns and quantifiers. And we always circled back to review and recycle vocabulary from previous lessons. My only critique is that I wish we could have done even more interactive and project-based tasks. Maybe we could have held a "Healthy Snack Tasting Fair" at the end to try each group's snack creations. Or done some research and presentations on foods from different cultures around the world. But overall, I felt very engaged throughout this unit and came away with a lot of new, practical language skills!。

三年级英语下册人教版第二单元作文我的家庭

三年级英语下册人教版第二单元作文我的家庭全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My FamilyHi there! My name is Lily and I'm going to tell you all about my family. We're not a small family, but also not super huge. I've got my mom and dad, plus one little brother and one little sister.Let me start by telling you about my mom. Her name is Lisa and she is 38 years old. She has long brown hair that goes past her shoulders and pretty green eyes. My mom is really nice and caring. She works from home doing something on the computer all day that I don't really understand. But it means she is home a lot which is great! She makes me lunch every day and helps me with my homework when I need it. On weekends she likes to take us to the park or go on little day trips. My dad's name is Michael and he is 40 years old. He has short black hair and brown eyes behind glasses. Dad works at an office downtown during the day. I'm not totally sure what his job is to be honest! Something with numbers I think. He leaves very early in the morning before I wake up. But then he gets homearound 6pm to spend time with our family in the evenings. On weekends Dad likes to tinker with fixing things around the house. He's always doing little projects and repairs which I think is pretty cool. Now let me tell you about my little brother Jake. Jake just turned 5 years old a couple months ago. He has blonde hair and blue eyes which is different than the rest of us. Jake is in preschool right now and he loves it! He's obsessed with dinosaurs and has a ton of dinosaur toys that he carries everywhere. Jake is really energetic and loud, but also super cute. We all just adore him even when he's being a little terror. Our favorite thing is having dance parties in the living room with Jake because he's such a wild dancer! My little sister is Mia and she is 7 years old. Mia has long brown hair like Mom and brown eyes. She's in 1st grade this year. Mia is really smart and loves reading books. She gets good grades in school because she studies hard. Mia is quieter and more serious than Jake, but also very sweet. Her favorite thing is arts and crafts. She is always coloring, painting, or making some kind of project. Mia makes beautiful pictures and cards for all of us.Now you know about each member of my family! We all have our quirks, but we love each other so much. We do a lot of fun things together as a family. On Friday nights we have movie night where we all pile on the couch in our pajamas to watch a film and eat popcorn. It's the best! In the summer we love going to the community pool and the beach. We also take a big family vacation every year, like going to Disneyland or camping. Those are some of my favorite memories.Sometimes Mom and Dad get stressed out, like when Jake and I are fighting or when they have a lot of work to do. But we always work through it as a team because family is the most important thing. We support each other, cheer each other on, and have each other's backs no matter what. Even when Jake is driving me crazy or Mia is being a little bossy, I know we're all still best friends.Another fun thing about my family is that we come from different places. My dad grew up in the countryside and my mom grew up in a city. So we mix some country and city traditions at our house. Like my dad teaches us camping skills and outdoor activities. But my mom makes sure we also appreciate art, music, and culture. For holidays we take parts from American traditions plus parts from my grandparents'traditions from Taiwan and Italy. It makes our family celebrations extra special and unique.I feel so lucky to be part of this awesome family. We might be a little crazy at times, but we stick together through thick and thin. My parents work hard to give my siblings and me a great life. They teach us important values like kindness, honesty, and treating others with respect. We learn about our cultural roots while still being Americans. Most of all, they shower us with love, encouragement, and emotional support every single day. There's no family that's perfect, but in my eyes, my family is pretty darn close! We may not have a ton of money or live in a huge house, but we have each other. And that's the most valuable thing in the world. I love my mom, dad, brother, and sister more than anything. I don't know what I would do without them. So even though families come in all shapes and sizes, I'm proud to be part of this nutty, loving, amazing family of mine.篇2My FamilyMy name is Li Ming and I am 9 years old. I live with my family in a small apartment in Beijing. My family is not very big, but I love them all very much!I have a mom and a dad. My mom's name is Wang Jing. She is 35 years old and works as a teacher at the local primary school. My mom is very kind and caring. She helps me with my homework every night after dinner. She is also a good cook and makes my favorite dishes like dumplings and noodles. My dad is called Li Fang. He is 38 years old and works at a bank downtown. My dad has to leave early for work and comes home late at night. But on weekends, he always takes me to the park to play basketball or fly a kite. He tells very funny jokes that make me laugh a lot.I am an only child, which means I don't have any brothers or sisters. Sometimes I wish I had a younger sibling to play with at home. But my parents say having just one child is better as everything is simpler and they can give me all their love and attention. My grandparents are very important people in my family too. They live quite close by in the same neighborhood. My grandma's name is Chen Ling and she is 65 years old. She has a wrinkled face but a very warm smile. Every Sunday, she comes over to our house to cook us a big lunch. Her noodle soup is the most delicious thing I have ever eaten! My grandpa is called Wang Hui and he just turned 70 last month. He has white hair and a kind face. He used to be a teacher too, just like my mom. Now he is retired and likes to spend time gardening and reading books. I love visiting their home as grandpa has so many fascinating stories to tell me from when he was young. My family also has two pets - a dog and a cat. The dog is a golden retriever named Buddy. He is very playful and loves to run around chasing me in the park. My cat is called Daisy and she loves to curl up in a ball on the couch and sleep all day. She is so soft and fluffy! I am in charge of feeding Buddy and Daisy every morning before going to school. There are some other relatives I only see during special occasions like Spring Festival. We have two aunts, one uncle and three cousins staying in different cities far away. During the New Year holiday, the whole family gets together at my grandparents' home. We kids get lots of delicious food and lucky money in red packets. It is my favorite time of the year!Even though we are not a very big family, we are all very close and caring towards each other. My parents work hard to give me a comfortable life and good education. My grandparents shower me with their love, tasty food and wiseadvice. We have our cute dog Buddy and cat Daisy to keep us company too.Every member of my family is important and special to me in their own way. I feel very fortunate to have such a loving, supportive family. They make me feel safe, happy and cared for always. No matter where I go or what I become in the future, my family will forever remain the most precious part of my life.篇3My FamilyHi! My name is Li Ming and I'm 9 years old. I'm in 3rd grade at Sunshine Elementary School. Today my teacher Miss Wang asked us to write about our families for our English class. I love my family very much so I'm really excited to tell you all about them!First, let me introduce my parents. My dad's name is Li Xiaoming and my mom is Zhang Xiaohong. My dad works at a big company downtown as an accountant. That means his job is to keep track of all the money the company spends and makes. It sounds kind of boring to me, but my dad says he really enjoys it. My mom is a teacher at my school! She teaches math to the 5th graders. I think it's really cool having my mom at my school.Sometimes I get to see her in the hallways and we wave to each other.I'm an only child, which means I don't have any brothers or sisters. Sometimes I wish I had a sibling to play with at home. But then I think about how I don't have to share my toys or my room and I feel okay being an only child. My parents give me plenty of attention and they always make time to play games or go to the park with me on weekends. My grandparents live pretty close by, just a few metro stops away. Grandma and Grandpa Zhang live in a cozy little apartment close to my mom's school. I love visiting them because Grandma always cooks my favorite foods like zhajiangmian noodles and sweet egg tarts for dessert. Grandpa is retired from his job at a factory, so he has lots of free time to play chess or card games with me.On my dad's side, my other grandparents are Grandma and Grandpa Li. They live a little further away in a house out in the suburbs. Their house has a big yard with space for a vegetable garden and my grandpa's prized peach trees. He spends hours every day tending to the garden. In summer, we get tons of fresh peaches, tomatoes, peppers and more! Grandma Li is anamazing cook too. She's famous among our whole family for her incredible dumplings. My aunt and uncle (my dad's younger brother) also live nearby with their three kids - my cousins Jia, Kang and Mei Mei. Jia is 11 years old, Kang is 8, and little Mei Mei just turned 5 last month. We all have so much fun together when our families get along. Kang and I like building Lego towers and spaceships. Jia is really good at sports so she teaches me basketball. And Mei Mei and I love putting on little shows and dressing up like princesses or superheroes. Uncle Zhang works long hours at his job, but Aunt Mei always makes time to play games with us kids.Every year for Spring Festival, my dad's whole side of the family gets together at Grandma and Grandpa Li's house. The adults cook a huge feast with all the traditional lucky foods like dumplings, noodles, fish and oranges. Us kids get red envelopes with money in them. After dinner, we light sparklers outside and watch fireworks together. It's my favorite night of the whole year!On Mom's side, I'm lucky to have two aunts, two uncles, and four cousin who all live here in Beijing too. We don't get together quite as much, but we always celebrate birthdays, Chinese New Year, and other holidays all together. For my mom's birthday lastmonth, we all went to her favorite restaurant and then sang karaoke together afterward. I love seeing the whole extended family! My family is really important to me. We stick together through good times and bad. When I was sick with the flu a couple years ago, my grandparents all took turns coming over to our apartment to take care of me while my parents were at work. My aunt brought over soup and my uncle told me silly jokes to make me laugh when I felt yucky. I know I can count on my family for anything. My cousins are like the siblings I never had. We have so much fun making Up games and using our imagination to play together. Sometimes we bicker a little bit, like most brothers and sisters. But at the end of the day, we're buddies and I know they've always got my back. The older I get, the more I realize how lucky I am to have such a loving, close-knit family surrounding me. We may not be rich, but we have everything we need - a roof over our heads, warm meals, and most importantly, each other. I feel safe, supported, and cared for by my whole big family. One day when I grow up, I'll work hard so I can take care of my parents andgrandparents the same way they've always taken care of me. Family is forever and I'm so grateful for mine!篇4My FamilyHi there! My name is Lili and I'm going to tell you all about my family. We're a pretty big group with lots of love and laughter. Just wait until you hear about everyone!First up is my mom and dad. My mom's name is Meili and she's the most caring person ever. She works really hard at her job in an office, but she always finds time to help me with my homework and tuck me into bed at night. My dad is named Jianyu and he's hilarious! He tells the funniest jokes and does these goofy dances that make my little brother and me crack up. On weekends, dad loves taking us to the park to play badminton or fly kites. Both of my parents give the biggest, warmest hugs. Then there's my little brother Dingding. He's five years old and a total goofball. Dingding is obsessed with cars and trucks and anything with wheels. His favorite toys are his matchbox cars that he loves driving around the house making "vroom vroom" noises. Sometimes he gets a little crazy and starts crashing them into things, but that's just Dingding being Dingding! I have toadmit, watching him play with his cars can be pretty entertaining. Even though he annoys me sometimes, I love my little bro.We can't forget about my grandparents who live with us too! Grandma is Mom's mom and her name is Ling. She's an amazing cook and always makes the yummiest dumplings, noodles, and other delicious foods. After school, I sit with Grandma and she teaches me cool traditions like calligraphy and paper folding. Grandpa is Dad's dad and he goes by Yeye. He's really funny and playful, kind of like a big kid! Yeye and I love reading comic books together and watching funny shows on TV. I'm so lucky to have such a blast with my grandparents. My aunts, uncles, and cousins are another important part of our family. I have two aunts - Auntie Mei and Auntie Jia. Auntie Mei is a musician and she's taught me how to play the flute, which is really cool. Auntie Jia is a super talented artist and she comes over to do painting and crafting with me. My uncles are Muchen and Yihan. Uncle Muchen is obsessed with sports so he's always kicking balls around with me. Uncle Yihan loves building things, so we've made some epic lego creations together! Cousin time is the best! There are so many other special relatives in my life too - great aunts, great uncles, second cousins, you name it! We get together for huge family parties and celebrations like Chinese New Year. Those big family gatherings are always bursting with people, laughter, delicious food, fun activities and heritage traditions. I feel so lucky to have such an enormous, caring,joy-filled family. My family might be a big, rambunctious bunch, but we love and support each other through anything. We get rowdy and silly, but we're also there for the quiet, snuggly moments. We've helped each other through good times and hard times. My family gives me a constant supply of love, happiness, and fun memories that I'll cherish forever. I'm so grateful to be part of this amazing circle of people!篇5My FamilyHi, my name is Li Ming and I'm 9 years old. I'm in 3rd grade and I love learning English! She makes the most delicious dumplings.Speaking of Tiantian, he's my little brother and he just turned 5 years old last month. Tiantian is really funny and loves to make silly jokes. I'm so lucky because I have two grandmas and two grandpas! My dad's parents live with us. Grandpa Li is 65 and Grandma Li is 62. Grandpa worked on a farm when he was younger but now he's retired. He loves tending to our little garden and growing vegetables. Grandma Li is an excellent knitter. She's made me lots of warm sweaters and hats.My mom's parents live pretty close by, just a few blocks away. Grandpa Wang is 67 and Grandma Wang is 63. They are both retired too. Grandpa Wang was a teacher when he was working. He's very wise and loves reading books. Grandma Wang is the sweetest grandma ever! The grandparents come over and we all have a big dinner together. The grandpas play games like chess and cards. The grandmas knit and chat. Mom and Dad cook up a storm in the kitchen. We look out for each other and do everything together. I hope you enjoyed learning about my family as much as I enjoyed writing about them. Living with a huge family isn't always easy, but I'm grateful for mine every single day. Thanks for reading!篇6My FamilyI have a really nice family. We are the Smiths and there are four people living in my house - my mom, my dad, my little sister Amy, and me! My name is Tim and I am nine years old. Amy is only six years old so I am the big brother. My mom's name is Sarah. She is 35 years old and has long brown hair and green eyes. My mom works at an office downtown as an accountant. That means she helps companies with their money and math problems. Mom leaves for work at 8am every morning. While she is at work, I am at school. When I come home at 3:30pm, mom is usually already back from her job. As soon as she gets home, mom makes us a snack like apple slices or crackers and juice. My dad is named Michael. He is 37 years old with short black hair and brown eyes. Dad has a very important job - he is a police officer! He works to keep our city safe and catch bad guys who break the law. His uniform is really cool with a navy blue shirt and pants. He also gets to wear a neat hat, shiny shoes, a belt for his supplies, and he even carries a pistol! But don't worry, it's just for protection. Dad is very well-trained and responsible with hisweapons. I'm proud that my dad is a police officer protecting people.Every morning, dad wakes up at 5am to get ready for his shift. He heads to the police station at 6am and doesn't get home until 6pm. That means he works a 12 hour day! By the time dad gets home, he is often tired from chasing criminals and making arrests all day. But he still has energy to play games with me and Amy before bedtime. On weekends, dad loves to take us to the park or go hiking in the woods. My little sister Amy is super cute and fun! She has blonde hair like me and is always smiling and laughing. Amy loves the color purple - her bedroom is painted purple, her backpack is purple, even her stuffed animals are purple! Her favorite foods are pizza, chicken nuggets, and ice cream sandwiches. Amy just started 1st grade at the same elementary school I go to. She is learning how to read, write, and do math. I help her practice at home since I'm older and more advanced than a 1st grader. As an older brother, I take good care of Amy. I play games with her like hopscotch, jump rope, and hide-and-seek in the backyard. Sometimes I even help brush her hair into pigtails before school! Amy looks up to me and we are best friends. Of course, little sisters can be annoying too. Amy is always gettinginto my room and touching my stuff. I have to yell "Mom! Amy is bothering me again!" at least once a day.Our house is perfect for my family of four. We live in atwo-story home with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room has a huge TV that we watch movies on together as a family. The kitchen has marble countertops, wooden cabinets, and stainless steel appliances like the oven, fridge, and dishwasher. Connected to the kitchen is the dining room where we have a wooden table for eating dinner every night. Out back, we have a big green yard with a swing set, trampoline, and room to run around and play sports. In the summer, my family likes to go swimming at the community pool down the street. We pack a picnic of sandwiches, chips, and fruit to eat at the pool deck. Mom and dad get lounge chairs to work on their tans while Amy and I splash around for hours. Sometimes our cousins or friends from the neighborhood come swim with us too.Every year for our summer vacation, we take an awesome trip somewhere fun! Last year, we went to Florida and spent a week at Disney World. I loved riding the big rollercoasters and seeing Mickey Mouse in person! My favorite was the Haunted Mansion ride and mom's favorite was the fireworks show overthe castle. This summer, we're planning to go camping in the Rocky Mountains out west. I can't wait to go hiking, look for wildlife like deer and bears, and sleep outside in a tent. After summer is over, we always have a huge party at our house for my dad's birthday in September. Relatives like my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins come over to celebrate. Mom makes dad's favorite foods like steak, baked potatoes, salad, and chocolate cake. We decorate with colorful balloons, streamers, and sign that says "Happy Birthday Dad!" It's a big bash with tons of people, food, games for the kids, and lots of love for my dad on his special day.Around Halloween time, we carve pumpkins as a family. Mom cuts open the pumpkins and scoops out the yucky insides full of seeds and slime. Then we take turns drawing silly, scary, or funny faces on the pumpkins with markers. Dad is great at carving and uses a sharp knife to cut out the eyes, nose, and mouth. We put a candle inside to make a creepy jack-o-lantern that glows at night! Our pumpkins always look so cool sitting on our porch greeting trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.Another fun tradition we do every winter is going ice skating in the city park. They freeze over the lake and turn it into an ice skating rink! Mom and dad are really good skaters, so they helpme and Amy go slowly while holding onto the wall. We dress up in our warmest winter coats, gloves, hats and scarves to stay cozy in the freezing temperatures. Afterwards, we go inside the warm lodge and drink hot chocolate loaded with mini marshmallows and whipped cream on top. Yum!Around Christmas time, we put up our Christmas tree, hang lights and decorations around the house, and listen to holiday music. I write my letter to Santa letting him know which presents I want for Christmas like video games, Legos, books, and sports equipment. We leave out milk and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve night before going to bed. When we wake up on Christmas morning, there are presents under the tree from Santa! We spend the whole day opening gifts, eating a big turkey dinner, and visiting with our extended family. We go to church every Sunday morning as a family. Mom, dad, Amy, and I put on our nicest clothes and drive to the big church downtown. We sing songs, say prayers, and listen to the preacher talk about being a good person who is kind, honest, and follows God's teachings. After church, we often stop for brunch at a pancake house or diner to eat breakfast foods like waffles, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Yum!I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful, loving family. We may be a basic middle-class American family, but we have a warm home, enough money for our needs, and great family values. My parents are hardworking people who take care of me and my sister incredibly well. We have the best family traditions that I look forward to every year. There's nothing better than spending quality time together making precious memories. My family means everything to me and I feel so grateful for them. I hope we can stay a close family forever!。
