we can say that the US is a country living on wheels.

this is basicallly a correct observation,which says something about the American way of life , Americans like to o business without leaving their cars. Wherever you go,y ou will see drive in banks, drive in restaurants, drive in churches and drive in movi es.

if you are a foreigner and don't have a state licesence,it is a good idea to have an international diver's license.

each states of the US has its own traafic laws . The driver is expected to know an d understand the local laws even if they don't live in a particular state .

you can ge information at a tourist information center when you corss the border i nto a different state.

口语: China's national entrance examination is usually on June 7~8, usually on Mon day and Tuesday. 高考日期为6月7/8号，是周一和周二。家长接送学生和影响上班族，引起traffic jam. 有人提议改为6月的第一个周末。你怎么看？
