Canadian cyclist creates GPS doodles (涂鸦) Stephen Lund is a cyclist. He is also an artist. But unlike most artists, he doesn’t use a pen or a brush to create his works of art. All he uses is his bike and a GPS app.
Before he gets down to create a new place of artwork, he draws the courses on street maps. Following these courses, he rides across his hometown and the GPS app records the routes he takes. The GPS doodles are done.
Some of Lund’s GPS doodles include simple messages like “Happy Birthday”, while others are more complex drawings of animals, fictional characters and pop stars. So far, he has doodled Queen Victoria, a giant anteater, a dinosaur and a giraffe. His largest creation so far is a portrait of a mermaid. It took him 11 hours of cycling and he rode 220 kilometers to complete it.
Lund started his extraordinary project on January l, 2015, as a way to wish people a “Happy New Year.” But he kept going after that first doodle, creating a total of 85 works over the course of the year. All of them are posted on his website, .

The inspiring story of a blind CEO
At the age of 23, Indian entrepreneur Srikanth Bollar is the CEO of a company valued at over $7.5 million in 2016. That's really a wonderful achievement. But the most inspiring is that he managed to do it despite being born blind.
When Srikanth was born, several of his parents' friends and relatives advised them to leave him. That would have been the easier thing to do because they were very poor. But the parents chose to not only keep the boy, but also to raise him in a positive, loving environment. They're the strictest people I know. Srikanth often says.
And their excellent parenting has paid off today. Srikanth is the CEO of Bollant Industries. The company employs disabled people to produce eco-friendly products. The products are mostly made from leaves and recycled paper.
Life was not easy for Srikanth. He was rejected by his peers at his village school. After transferring to a school for special children, he did very well in his studies and also developed an interest in cricket. Although high school was hard for him, he eventually found a teacher who was kind enough to turn all his lessons into audio clips, and helped him with his exams.
Srikanth failed to enter his dream college ITTs (印度理工学院) because of the simple fact that he was blind, though he did very well in the entrance exam. But he managed to go to MIT, and graduated from the school in 2012. He returned to India soon after, and started his company with Swarnalatha, his special needs teacher in school and lifelong friend.
“Srikanth is not only my young friend but also my teacher.” Swarnalatha said, “He teaches me anything is possible if you set your mind to do it.”
