Students can use “have” to ask and answer the ownership of things.

Students can improve their interests in sports activities and develop their spirit of unity and friendship.

IV. Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Warming up
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 Pre-listening
Show the pictures and the objects and then get the students to learn the new words by using the fol lowing sentence: What’s this? It’s a/an...
Help students understand the meaning of new words.
Step3 While-listening
The teacher leads students to listen the tape, and let them circle the words they hear.
Listen again, and let students write down the sports words they hear.
Step 4 Post-listening
1. Look at the pictures and the objects and practice the dialogue:
Do you have a/an...? Yes, I do. / No I don’t.
2. Group work
Make a dialogue and then practice the dialogue.

Step 5 Homework
