2.2.1 Lead-acid battery 铅酸电池
The lead-acid battery is widely used as a power battery in industrial trucks and can be used as auxiliary battery on the HEV, to start the IC engine and supply the electrical energy to the load.

Most current production HEVs use nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery as the high-voltage power battery. NiMH batteries are being used for these applications because of their performance characteristics such as specific energy, cycle life, and safety. From a manufacturing perspective, the NiMH battery is attractive because the materials used in its construction are plentiful and recyclable.
Construction A lead-acid battery consists of positive plates,
negative plates, separators, electrolyte and case, see Figure 2.1.

2.2.2 Nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery镍氢电池
Most battery and hybrid electric vehicles use dualvoltage electrical systems. The high-voltage (HV) system is used to power the electric drive (traction) motor, while a conventional 12-volt system is used to power all other aspects of vehicle operation. One advantage to using this system is that the vehicle can use any conventional electrical accessories in its design.

2.2.1 Lead-acid battery 铅酸电池
The lead-acid battery is widely used as a power battery in industrial trucks and can be used as auxiliary battery on the HEV, to start the IC engine and supply the electrical energy to the load.
