SOM Reply: Based on analysis of Nanjing’s CBDs and comparison of CBDs with
cities with similar types of cities, we concluded that the proposed size and development intensity are reasonable. SOM also further refined the city form and framework of CBD/CSD.

SOM Reply: Edges and massing along the west and east boundary rivers are refined. Urban edge study will be integrated into urban design guideline. Green dragon is closely linked to residential and medical community and provide a place for recreation. Due to the limited cultural marketing requirement, culture program is concentrated around central park. Medical use distribution mainly considers convenience to transit service.
