Differences and similarities of verbal communication and nonverbal communication
Verbal and nonverbal communication play important roles in our lives. They complete each other and have various functions for our daily life.
Differences:
1.Verbal communication is a form of communication organized by language with the use of words,,while nonverbal communication is a way of communication without words.
2.Verbal communication can express all kinds of ideas we want to express,while nonverbal communication spontaneously reflects the speaker’s subconsciousness.
3. Even if we are silent without words,the nonverbal dimension of our communication is always present.
Similarities:
1.They are both important in human interaction.
2.They can both disseminate information.
3.There remain many differences of different cultural backgrounds in both of them.
