Once upon a time, in a faraway land, a young prince（王子）lived in a shining castle（城堡）.
→很久很久以前，在一个遥远地方，一个年轻的王子住在美丽的城堡里

Although he had everything his heart desired（渴望的）,the prince was spoiled（被宠坏）, selfish（自私）and unkind.

But then, one winter's night,an old beggar（乞丐） woman came to the castle and offered him a single rose in return for shelter（庇护，避难所） from the bitter cold.
