1.弱读（schwa）

英语中有些非重读词(主要为助动词、系动词、介词、连词、冠词和人称代词等)有两种读音形式：强读式和弱读式。如of在说话时就常弱读为／ə／。练习使用弱读式会使说话更加流畅。

一般来说，弱读式出现于该词在句中非重读时。弱读的规则一般是：元音音节弱化成／ə／。
