注意：此类词的动词及相对应名词都用虚拟"(should)

一、that sb. (should) do 结构insist command order;suggest(suggestion); demand; advise;request; ask propose (proposal)require;

(一)虚拟语气用于It作形式主语的主语从句中

含义：表示惊奇、不相信、惋惜、理应如此等。eg.真奇怪，他竟然会游泳。

It is strange that he(should)swim.

(It+be+adj.+that...)

事实是，他竟然欺骗了我。

It is a fact that he(should)lie to me.

(It+be+a/an+n.+that...)

注意：若无"惊叹"之意，则无需虚拟。

●(二)虚拟语气用于宾语从句

●1.他要求我立刻开始学习。

●He demands that I(should)start studying right away.

●2.她建议我们晚上开个会。

●She suggested that we(should)have a meeting tonight.

●注意：insist作"力言"、''强调"解时，不虚拟；只有作"坚持(应该)"解时，才虚拟。

●We insisted that she(should)go with us.

●Mike insisted that he had never stolen anything.

●(三)虚拟语气用于表语从句、同位语从句

●作advice,idea,order,demand,plan proposal,suggestion,request 等名词的表语从句和同位语从句，此时要虚拟。

●我的主意是，我们先做作业。

●My idea is that we(should)do homework first.

●我们都同意他的去北京旅行的计划。

●we all agree to his suggestion that we(should)go travelling to Beijing.

●我最喜欢的计划是他的美国之行计划。

●My favorite is the plan that he(should)go to America.

二、一律往过去推的虚拟语气

●对现在的虚拟does：

●-->did(be动词一律改成were)●对过去的虚拟did:

●-->had done

●对将来的虚拟will do:

●-->would do

●(一)wish的虚拟语气

●wish的虚拟语气表示不可实现的愿望

●我希望我两小时前到。

●I wish that I had arrived two hours ago.

●我希望你能和我一起走。

●I wish that you could go with me.

●我希望我能成为一名警察。

●I wish that I would be a policeman.

●注意：wish的虚拟语气中对过去的虚拟可改成had done，也可改成

(could)would have done.

●(二)as if/as though中的虚拟

●表示可能性极低时，用虚拟。

●他英语说得很流利，好像以前学过一样。

●He speaks English so fluently as if he had studied English before.

●他看起来像个当医生的。

●He looks as if he were a doctor.

●注意：若可能性极高，则无需虚拟。

(三)would rather中的虚拟

1.我宁愿他没有这么做。

I would rather she hadn't done that.

(对过去的虚拟用过去完成)

2.我宁愿你下次再来粉刷这面墙。

I would rather you painted the wall next time.

(对将来的虚拟用一般过去)

3.我宁愿你现在就付钱给我。

I would rather you paid me now.

(对现在的虚拟用一般过去)

●(四)if only中的虚拟语气

●我要是听他的话就好了。

●If only I had taken his advice.

●我如果是一只小鸟就好了。

●If only I were a bird.

●我如果会飞就好了。

●If only I could fly.
