二、课程简介(Course Description)
有机化学实验是有机化学的重要组成部分~主要介绍有机化合物的合成、纯化及鉴定方法等实
验技术。
有机化学实验教学的任务~不仅是验证、巩固和加深课堂所学的基础理论知识~更重要的
是培养学生实验操作能力~综合分析问题和解决问题的能力~培养学生自主设计实验的基本能力~
使学生养成良好的实验习惯、实事求是的科学态度~并在科学方法上得到初步
训练。
“Organic Chemistry Laboratory” is an important component of
organic chemistry that provides an
intensive introduction to the techniques of experimental chemistry, such as the synthesis of organic compounds, methods of chemical purification, and procedures for compound identification. The aim of the course is not just to prove and consolidate the basic theoretical knowledge obtained from class, but also develop well experimental skills, and ability to analyse and solve problems that are encountered in the research lab. Moreover, the goal of this course is to develop students’ ability to design experiments
independently,help them to make a good experimental habit and a scientific attitude to the fact, and train them initially in scientific method.
三、实验教学目标与基本要求(Basic Teaching Purposes and Requirements)
熟练掌握加热、冷却、回流、搅拌、过滤、萃取、结晶、干燥、常用玻璃仪器
的清洗、实验装
置的装配、拆卸等操作,熟练掌握蒸馏、分馏、减压蒸馏、水蒸气蒸馏、分
水、沸点和熔点测定的
原理和操作方法。
掌握,掌握有机化合物的基本反应和典型制备方法。
Skilfully grasp basic operations, such as heating, cooling, reflux, stirring, filtration, extraction, crystallization, drying, cleaning equipment and the experimental device assembly operation; master the
principles and operations of distillation, fractionation, vacuum distillation, steam distillation,water
separating, boiling point and melting point determination; master basic reactions and typical organic compounds preparation methods.
四、教学内容和基本要求(Main Contents and Requirements)
1. 基本实验技能(Basic Experimental Skills)
掌握玻璃仪器的清洗与干燥,常用玻璃仪器的拆装,加热与冷却,回流、蒸馏,萃取和洗涤,
重结晶和过滤,液、固有机物的干燥,熔、沸点的测定等。
Grasp the glass equipment cleaning and drying, commonly used glass equipment assembly and disassembly operation, heating, cooling, reflux, distillation, extraction, washing, recrystallization, filtering, liquid and solid organic dry and the determination of the boiling point and melting point. 2. 综合性实验(Comprehensive Experiments)
完成若干经典的有机合成实验。
学生根据英文实验指导书或教师的指导~按照有关的实验方法
和步骤进行实验~验证所学的科学知识、客观规律~加深和巩固对所学知识的认识和了解~学会查
找常见有机物的物理常数。
综合性实验就是把学生学过的多方面知识、多学科内容、多因素影响~
统筹考虑、综合应用开展实验~从而培养学生分析问题和解决问题的能力。
Perform the classic organic synthesis experiments. According to the experimental guide book or professor's guide, in accordance with the relevant experimental methods and steps to carry out experiments to
verify the scientific knowledge and theory, deepen and consolidate the knowledge of organic chemistry. Learn to find common organic physical constants. Comprehensive experiments are that the students overall consider the various aspects of learned knowledge, multidisciplinary and multi-factors, and comprehensively apply them in experiments. The aim is to train students’ analysis
and problem-solving abilities.
3. 设计性实验,Designing Experiments,
根据实验室条件~设计一个合成实验。
由学生自己根据提供的试剂等少数条件确定实验方案~
设计实验路线~选择实验方法和步骤~选用仪器设备~提交设计性实验预案~经任课教师审核签字
同意后~独立操作完成实验~写出实验报告。
设计性实验主要培养学生查阅文献、确定实验方法、
选择仪器设备等各方面的能力。
Under laboratory conditions, a synthetic experiment is designed. According to the conditions provided, the students themselves design experimental route, choose experimental methods, steps and optional equipment, and submit the expe rimental plan. After signed by teacher’s agreement,
perform independent operation of completed experiments and write experiment report. Design experiment is to train students’ comprehensive capacity including referring to literature, identifying experimental methods, selecting equipment, and so on.

六、实验报告要求(Lab Reports Requirements)
每次实验均需按照规定格式提交实验报告,一般必须在实验课一周后及时上
交。
实验报告不能
写在记录本上~而且必须严格遵照自己的实验现象与结果规范记录~决不允许抄袭。
注重培养学生
学术诚信与基本科研素质。
A formal lab report will be required for each experiment. The report must be submitted after one week. Please note that lab reports are not written in the lab notebook, and must be on the basis of your own experimental phenomena and records. The plagiary is not tolerated. Pay attention to train students’ academic honesty and scientific research diathesis.
七、考核方式与成绩评定标准 (Evaluation)
考试不采用笔试形式~教师通过学生平时的操作能力、预习报告和考勤综合打分。
No written final exam at the end of the semester. Grade will be an evaluation of students’ lab
technique, preparedness and punctuality from the instructor.
