Structural Features
• The main sensitive material of the oxygen sensor is a zirconia. • The zirconia is activated by exhaust heating (300℃) ,then the oxygen ions through the zirconia components to reach their external electrodes. Zirconia components induct the oxygen content in the engine exhaust and change the output voltage.

Working Principle
• The oxygen sensor is an important part of the closedloop fuel control system. It aims to adjust and maintain the desired air-fuel ratio so that it helps catalytic converters to achieve the best conversion efficiency. When the engine combustion air-fuel ratio becomes small, the oxygen content in the exhaust increasing, oxygen sensor output voltage reduced.Otherwise the output voltage increased.By this way to feedback the airfuel ratio situation to the ECU.

IV. Re-install the sensor: use the right assembly adhesives coated thread. (Note: Do not let assembly adhesives touch the protective tube). Install a new sensor: we have coated the grease on the mounting thread and equipped with a protective sleeve. Do not remove the protective sleeve until you install the sensor.

• For engine oil, not oil more than the highest mark level on the dipstick. • Strict compliance with the testing and replacement cycle: should periodically (every 30,000 km) detect the oxygen sensor and the proposed cycle in accordance with our replacement.
