东莞玉兰大剧院坐落于东莞市文化中心，为东 莞市标志性建筑，是华南地区已建成的规模最 大、功能最全和声学要求极高的特大型剧院工 程。并于2006年被评为中国建筑工程鲁班奖。 该剧院的设计整体构思是以芭蕾舞演员优雅 的舞姿或乐队动态的指挥姿态向外界传达大 剧院内部的音乐和戏剧活动。

合肥大剧院位于合肥市政务文化新区的城市 轴线西侧，主要包括歌剧厅、音乐厅、多功能厅 及排演厅等功能空间。
合肥大剧院选择了椭圆作为建筑的主题轮廓 线，同时结合用地东侧的综合艺术馆，使其在 轴线的交汇点落在城市主轴上，在整个大区域 中形成一个三角轴线关系。为了使椭圆的形体 更好地与内部使用空间良好结合，设计师将其 在城市水平方向进行剖切，使建筑形状更好的 融入整体规划，同时也丰富了造型的表现力。 合肥大剧院应首先成为一个市民可直接参与 和享用的公共的都市文化载体，于是设计师将 主要的交通放在用地的北侧和西侧，这样用地 的南端成为一个开放的城市公共空间，结合整 体的景观设计使其与天鹅湖的柔美姿态融为 一体。
The designer shaped its main body as a spiral cone, and distinguished the backstage and the public area by paving granite and glass on the spiral cone. At the same time, the designer added two floating structures, the opera hall and the experimental theater, in the cone, which formed a spiral surface together with the shining hall, embracing the whole building and forming a distinct and unique building image.

半山半岛美术馆及演艺中心
本方案位于半山半岛北部的海滩，西北侧与南 海相望。设计的主要在于解决以何种方式连接 海洋和陆地，如何取得眺望海景的最佳角度。 安藤先生一直在设计能够与光、水、风等自然 要素及美丽的环境、市民的喧嚣等周围环境对 话的建筑，在由简单的几何学构成空间中，生 成多样的空间。他希望在本设计中聚集的人们 可以和自然、风景对话，和各年龄层的人对话， 将空间塑造成文化交流的场所。
This project is located on the beach in the north of the Mid-Peninsula, facing the South China Sea in the northwest. The main purpose of the design is to solve such issues as how to connect the sea and the land, and how to achieve the optimal angle to overlook the seascape.
From the standpoint of general layout, the design contains three elements, one is the Performing Center on the land, one is the Art Museum over the sea, and the other is the man-made water surface between the two. In the planning, designers connect up the Art Museum over the sea and the seashore Performance Center, forming a cultural area together with the in-between man-made water surface. The Performing Center has a road directly leading to the Art Museum, becoming the entrance of the entire cultural area. With an arch corridor, it looks like the Art Museum over the sea, which is defined as the “Gate of the World”.
在总体布局上，设计有三个要素，一个是陆地 一侧的演艺中心，一个是海面上的美术馆，以 及二者之间的人工水面。设计师们在规划上将 建在海面的美术馆和海滨的演出中心互相联结 起来，与中间的人工水面一起形成一个文化区 域。演出中心有一条道路直通美术馆，成为整 个文化区域的入口。有着拱形轮廓，看上去像 浮在海面上的美术馆被定义为“世界之门”。
设计师将它的主要体形塑造成一个螺旋形的 圆锥体，旋转的圆锥形体覆以花岗石和玻璃， 使得后台和公共区域区别了开来。同时在这个 圆锥中又插入两个浮动的体形，即歌剧厅和实 验剧场，它们与闪亮的大堂一起组成了一个旋 转的表面，拥抱着整个建筑，形成鲜明、独特 的建筑形象。
Dongguan Yulan Grand Theater is located at the cultural centre of Dongguan, and is the landmark of Dongguan. It is a super-large theatre project that has the largest scale, fullest functions and high acoustic requirements that established in the southern part of China, and was awarded with the Luban Prize for China Building Project in 2006. The overall concept of the theater’s design is the graceful dancing pose of a ballet dancer, or the dynamic conducting pose of a band, conveying the internal musical and opera activities to the outside world.
