[wɜ:kə′hɔ:lik] One who has a compulsive and unrelenting need to work. 工作狂;工作迷;醉心于工作的人 E.g. 1. Many Japanese people are workaholic.
Work ethic
职业伦理;职业道德;工作观念 Work ethic is a set of values based on hard work and diligence. It is also a belief in the moral benefit of work and its ability to enhance character. An example would be the Protestant work ethic. A work ethic may include being reliable, having initiative or maintaining social skills.
