Foreword
Thank you for using the WYT series gearless permanently magnetic synchronous tractor.
The Maintenance and Operating Instructions describes how to use the WYT series gearless permanently magnetic synchronous tractor in a correct manner. Please read the manual carefully before you carry out any operation, including transportation, installation, maintenance and inspection etc. Only use the tractor after you are familiar with the safety cautions of the product.
General Cautions
●The symbols indicated in the manual are for general purpose, and they may be different from
those indicated in the manual you receive.
●The manual is subject to change due to improvement of production process, change of
specifications or more convenient use.
●Please contact the company or the product agent if the manual is damaged or lost. Description of safety-related symbols
Observe the items with safety symbols because they specify important contents.
Safety cautions
●
●Do not carry out the operation when the power is on. Cut off the power before the operation.
●It should be done by professional qualified personnel.
●Observe the requirement of the manual when connecting to the power supply.
●Reliable grounding should be provided.
●Do not operate it when the connecting terminal cover is open.
●Do not get close to the rotating part during operation.
●The electromagnetic brake should be checked or adjusted by professional personnel before it
starts operation.

●During adjustment of the electromagnetic brake, take safety actions to ensure that the car and
the counterpoise have no free movement.
●Do not alter the product.
●Ensure that the tractor’s operation is reliable in the place where dripping or oil leakage is
possible; otherwise do no install the equipment.
●Check the elevator’
●Do not put your hands or articles on the opening part of the tractor.
●Do not use the machine which has problems.
●Do not remove or cover the nameplate.
●Be careful in handling the equipment. Use the hoisting ring, and make sure that the
equipment is not connected to other devices which are to be installed. Before hoisting, check the weight of the tractor and the load of the hoisting equipment. Falling off is not allowed.
●Make sure that the model of the product received is the same as the order model; otherwise
do not install the equipment.
●Do not put flammable articles around the equipment.
●Provide necessary space for heat emission for the equipment.
●The tractor must be driven by the special frequency conversion speed control device. It is
prohibited to connect the tractor to the power supply directly or a driving device which does not meet the requirement.
●Make sure that all fasteners are tightened before installation.
●Pay attention that the rotation direction of the tractor should be consistent with the connected
equipment during installation.
●Keep away from the rotating part and the brake of the tractor during operation.
●If there is any failure, stop operation of the tractor.
●Inspection and maintenance must be done by professional personnel.
●Do not use vibration or impact tools on the equipment.
I.Product structure an operational principle
The gearless permanently magnetic synchronous tractor (hereinafter referred to the tractor) manufactured by our company includes two major series of inner rotor structure (WYT-Y series) and external rotor structure (WYT-S series), and mainly consists of the permanently magnetic synchronous motor, the traction sheave and the brake system. Featuring low speed and big torque the permanently magnetic synchronous motor adopts high-performance permanently magnetic materials and special motor structure. The traction sheave and the brake pulley are in coaxial fixed connection, and are installed on the motor’s shaft extension end directly. The brake system of the tractor consists of the brake body, brake pulley, brake arm and brake shoe. The operational principle of the tractor: Power of the motor outputs torque through the traction sheave by the shaft extension end, and drive operation of the car through friction of the traction sheave and the steal wire. When the elevator stops running, the normally closed brake brakes the brake pulley through the brake shoe to keep the car motionless.
