仓储概述
不同类型的仓库
仓储是物流系统一个必不可少的部分。
全球有估计有750，000个仓库设施，包括专业管理的仓库和企业的储藏室、车库、甚至庭院货棚。
两类仓储：公共仓储和自有仓储
一个企业决定储存产品时，它面临着有两种仓储选择：租用的仓储设施，叫做公共仓储，和自有的或租赁的仓储设备，叫做（企业）自有仓储。
公司在两种仓库类型中做选择时要做仔细的考查。
比如，一个公共仓库的价格最有可能会比较高，因为它要在一定的利润上运营，它可能也有销售和广告成本。
然而，公司在仓储设备上不需要初始投资。
对于客户服务而言，自有仓储一般能提供更高水平的服务，因为它有更特定专业化的设施和设备；而且它更熟悉公司的产品、客户和市场。
在某些时候上，创新型公共仓库因为他们的专业性和强大的竞争驱动力可以向客户提供更高水平的服务．
下面我们将讨论公共仓库。
公共仓库
公共仓库：公共仓库有很多种，包括：1）为制成品准备的普通商品仓库；2）冷藏仓库；3）保税仓库；4）特殊商品仓库；5）大宗散货储藏仓库
普通商品仓库：普通商品仓库可能是最普遍的形式．它被用来为制造商、分销商和客户储存几乎任何品种的产品。
冷藏仓库：冷藏仓库或冷冻仓库提供了一个温度可控的储藏环境。
他们通常用于水果和蔬菜等易腐品的保鲜。
不过，很多其它物品（比如说冷冻食品、一些药物、照相纸和胶卷、和皮毛）也需要这类设施。
特殊商品仓库：.特殊商品仓库用于特定的农产品，比如谷物、羊毛和棉花。
通常而言，这类仓库每家分别处理一种特定的产品，并为那种产品提供特殊服务。
保税仓库：有些普通商品仓库和特种商品仓库被称为保税仓库。
进口烟酒等商品储存在这类仓库里，这些货物在分销到市场前一直受政府控制。
保税仓库的优势在于这些商品销售后再支付进口关税，这时进口商手头就有资金来支付那些费用。
大宗散货仓库：大宗散货仓库为煤、沙和化学品提供仓储，液体货物的罐式仓储、干货的开放式或棚架式仓储。
