In this unit, we will learn some new words: happy, birthday, how, year, old and four numbers, one to four. And students will learn one sentence “how old are you” and the answer “I am one/two years old” .

A I want to give you a riddle, then you guess. There is a day, your parents will make a delicious food for you. You want everything on that day , you parents will give you. And what’s more, you will get a cake. Boys and girls, Do you know what day is this?

1.3 Presentation of the new word

A Show some pictures.

B Let the students read the words.

1.4 Practice the new words

A Let students read the words themselves.

B Read the words together.

C Read the words one by one.

D Show some words’ picture and ask them what is it。

1.5 Practice the new sentence

A Game: Hand the number picture out, and the teacher ask question one by one. Students should answer the question according to the number.

B Students read the dialogue after the teacher.

C Grouping for the students, two students as a team, they make a dialogue, then make a competition, the better one will get a picture.

D Then teacher ask question, students answer it.

A Read the words together.

B Read the sentence.

A Remember the words, next class, I will check it.
