Breaking Dance

Affected by James Brown who was a poor black man in New York ,a new dance which is called Breaking at that time was formed and widely accepted in America . With the develoment of the breaking ,it became more and more rich and colorful .Up to now ,it includes up-rock(战斗步),Top-rock(摇摆 步),Footwork(地板步),Freeze (冻姿),Power move,and so on. So ,people all around the world at that time began to accept this brand new dance.

I fall in love with breaking when I touch this charming dance . Its passion and freedom make me relaxed and I can strong my body and mental spirits as well.Breaking can also give people power and confidence to face something that will make you down. So,let us shake our body to dance.To dance to the death.


In the fllowing decades ,breaking had a great development around the world .Shortly after Groups such as the Rock Steady Crew come to Japan ,breaking within Japan began to flourish(兴旺). Each Sunday ,performers would breakdance in Tokyo’s Yoyogi park. The shocking show gave a hit to Japanese and quickly spread in Japan . Meanwhile ,South koreans also accepted breaking so are the Chinese.

First,I want to introduce something about the breaking dance which is a part of Hip-hop culture. Streetdancing orginated in street by AfroAmerican in the 1960s and took it shape in the 1970s at the same time in the west coast and the east coast in America.
