教学过程:
(1) 复习检查:
A.复习上一课的Read:出示上一课Read的挂图和关键词,先放一遍录音,然后让学生从头到尾朗读,教师也可以让学生到讲台前复述或进行表演。
B. 复习单词:复习集中识词所学本课的生词,先领读一两遍,然后遮住中文让学生根据英文说出中文,遮住英文让学生根据中文说出英文。
(2) 导入新课:
本课的对话可用简笔画)和自问自答法导入,教师先出示本课对话的简笔画,然后同时充当迈克和露露,指图根据课文内容自问自答。
三个图都说过几遍以后,放两遍录音,然后逐句放音,让学生逐句跟说并翻译中文意思。
(3) 操练:
在三幅简笔画下面写上关键词,然后逐图操练。
先让他们听录音并逐句跟说,再让他们看着关键词在同座间互相问答,再叫四五对同学站起来问答。
三个图都练完以后,连起来放两遍录音,让学生跟说一两遍后,再让他们在同座间将3段连起来操练,最后叫四五对同学站起来问答。

教学过程:
(1) 复习检查:
A.复习生词:复习第八课所学的生词,可让学生默写。
要求四会的词根据中文写出英文,要求三会的词根据英文写出中文。
B. 表演上一课时所学的对话:出示简笔画和关键词,并放一两遍录音,然后按上一课时的分组,叫若干组同学朗读或到讲台前复述,表演这段对话。
(2) 导入新课:
先学习月份和年的读法,然后再导入。
本课的主题句型是“When were you born?” 根据Let's talk中“When were you born?”“I was born in October,1992.”句型导入。
教师根据Let's learn的
内容画出简笔画,可指着第一幅图说“When were you born?”“ I was born in March,1990.” 然后把这两个句子写在黑板上,再指着其他几幅图说上面的句子。
然后再由教师领说,让学生跟说。
(3) 操练:
让同座的同学看着简笔画互相对话,说完了可以让学生根据自己的实际互相对话。
操练熟练后,可让若干对同座的同学到黑板前,指着黑板上的图用上面的句子互相对话。
必要的话,教师还可补充一些简笔画,供操练用。

按书中插图将故事分成若干段进行操练。
教师给每段配上一幅简笔画画在黑板上。
教师逐图放录音,边放边在每幅图下给出关键词。
学生两人一组根据图片和关键词进行分段复述,然后再整片复述。
教师要把握操练的时间和分寸,在学生能够熟练复述以后,再找几组同学进行复述表演。
