二、单元教学目标二、教学重难点本单元教学重难点是：用“What do / does...do at weekends?” “I / They / He / She always / usually / often / sometimes...”询问或介绍某人的周末活动；频率副词always, usually, often和sometimes 的区分及正确的用法。
教学的过程中，通过学习文本、视频冲击的方式、看图说话、互动交流、游戏等活动自然感受周末活动带来的“乐趣”，并合理地选择频率副词结合句型进行周末活动的描述。
三、单元内容分析本单元围绕周末活动话题涉及9个语篇，包括三组对话、一个图表、一个图示、一首韵律诗、一个配图说明、一个调查表、一个非完整的配图短文等。
Story time是一组日常对话，主要讲述放学的路上，Mike和Su Hai在聊周末活动的话题。
Su Hai通常在周末和妹妹Su Yang一起去看望祖父母，而Mike则周末在网络上和远在英国的祖父母聊天。
Mike在周末通常和Liu Tao踢足球，有时也会和家人去公园放风筝和野餐。
Mike还介绍了他的妹妹Helen的周末活动。

主要围绕课本上的Story time学习。
本课的教学目标要求学生通过学习能够运用所学的英语谈论自己和他人的周末活动。
要求学生能掌握的词汇是visit, often, always, sometimes, weekends, grandparent, chat, Internet, cinema要求掌握的句型是What do you do at weekends? I always/usually/often/sometimes.本课还要求学生能正确的理解并朗读课文，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容并能初步感知第三人称单数的特殊疑问句及其回答的用法。
（二）说学生。
学生在四年级下册第二单元after school和五年级上册第四单元hobbies中已经接触过有关课外活动和业余爱好的词,因此在谈论周末活动时学生可以灵活运用。
（二）说教学目标。
结合新课程标准和大纲提出的基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标和具体要求，我将本课的目标设计如下：1、能听懂、会读、会说单词：visit, often, always, sometimes, weekends, grandparent, chat, Internet, cinema.2、能听懂、会读、会说日常用语：What do you do at weekends? I always/usually/often/sometimes.3、能正确的理解并朗读课文，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。
