随着高中英语阅读教学日趋标准化,在日复一日的反复练习中,高中英语阅读课堂逐渐暴露出创新性不足、难以深度理解文本等问题,使英语阅读教学陷入新一轮的瓶颈。

《新课标》明确了由语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力构成的英语学科核心素养,提出了指向核心素养的六要素整合活动观,指出活动是英语学习的基本形式,设置恰当的活动是课堂成功的关键。

一、英语学习活动观的内涵与意义《新课标》提出,课程内容是发展学习者英语学科核心素养的载体,主要包含以下六要素:主题语境、语篇类型、语言知识、文化知识、语言技能及学习策略。

这六要素是相互促进、相互关联的有机整体。

其中,主题语境包括人与自我、人与自然、人与社会三大主题,它规定了语言学习的知识范围。

语篇类型包括口头语篇和书面语篇及不同的文体形式,为语言学习提供文体素材。

具体来说,教师应当设计层层递进的活动,如默读、小组合作、阅读圈、口语展示等,引导学生基于语篇,深入语篇,再超越语篇,形成新的知识结构,逐步培养学生解决问题的能力[1]。

六要素整合的活动观,一方面,体现了教学整体性的优势,防止教学内容碎片化;另一方面,英语学习活动有助于促进学生的思维发展。

学生在研读语篇的过程中,应从学习理解类活动入手,获取语篇基本信息,递进至应用实践类活动内化所学知识和技能,最后迁移到创新类活动中,应解决生活中的问题,实现由低阶思维到高阶思维的渐进性发展,促进能力向素养的转化。

二、六要素整合学习活动观的课例分析本文以牛津高中英语模块二第二单元阅读课文An adventure in Africa 为例,尝试并探讨如何在具体的语篇中实践六要素整合的英语学习活动观。

(一)教材分析(1)What :主题语境与主要内容。

本节课主题为人教版高一英语模块2第二单元Olympics的进一步拓展,结合学生对2016里约奥运会的热情和了解,引发同学们对参与奥运会并做奥运会志愿者的渴望,进一步结合2022年中国主办亚运会的材料,引起学生们学习书写志愿者申请信的兴趣和动力。

(二)学情分析本节课的教学对象为普通高中高一平行班学生,处于初高中英语学习衔接阶段,由于初高中英语教学目标的不同和学生词汇量方面的断层,造成了学生对高一英语学习信心不足,倍感压力。

在这种情况下,学生对写作课有一定的畏难情绪,这也对教师教学方法的选择、教学难度的设定提出了更高的要求。

(三)设计思路本节课的教学设计主要从范文归纳、过渡语连接词的使用、词句的修改润色和学生思维生成几个方面着手。

1.范文归纳既然学生对英文申请信的书写无从下手,那么教师为学生提供范文,并引导学生从申请信的结构、过渡语、连接词和词句方面进行梳理就显得尤为必要。

这种梳理为学生的写作提供了框架和依托,使学生在写作时能有的放矢,想的清楚结构,写的清楚条理。

本节课我采用了一封志愿者申请信范文,并以学生观察、老师提问引导、学生总结、老师补充的方式,使学生对申请信的书写结构、段落布局都有了一个清楚的认识。

2.过渡语连接词的使用对于在写作中能有条理地表达要点,使用过渡语和连接词是十分必要的。

尽管过渡语和连接词的学习并不难掌握,但实际写作中的正确合理应用对学生来说是有难度的,是需要训练的。

同时,过渡语和连接词的应用是英语应用文写作中的基石,需要学生在写作中有意识地合理应用。

本节课,我通过范文示范、学生讨论和教师补充等方式达到让学生对过渡语和连接词心中有数的目的,并在接下来的写作、修改和润色中对此作用进行强化。

通过分析文章结构可知,这节课通过指导学生分析文本特征,帮助他们恰当运用阅读策略,以此获取有关文本内容和文本结构的信息。

基于文本特征和内容进行教学设计,教学过程中组织形式多样的读前、读中和读后活动,帮助学生逐步加深对文本内容的理解以及对文章结构的把握。

2. 深度解读文体和语言。

该文章体裁为书信格式,文章标题为An adventure in Africa,包括adventure(旅行)话题、Africa(非洲)焦点,学生可以围绕文章的主题内容与思想,了解有关非洲旅行的知识,同时可以将语言文字描述转化为旅行路线,建立相应的流程图,学生可以通过流程图复述旅游行程。

通过分析文章语言可知,整体语言难度适中。

例如,文章中应用了“We are going to visit so many exciting places and do lots ofextraordinary things”“Since we’ll be walking for almost two weeks, I’ll need to buy a large backpack in advance to carry my supplies of food and water”等语句,结构比较简单,便于学生理解文章内容。

整个文章时态为一般将来时,有大量语句使用“get”做连系动词,涉及让步状语从句、宾语从句。

3. 教学活动设计与实施。

在教学之前,首先应当确保学生理解文章内容,并且对文章内容感兴趣。
