但当句型“There be+名词(短语)+地点。”中 be 后的第一个名词是 单数形式时,be 动词用 is。 例句 :There is a funny monkey.
There is a small elephant. There is a strong tiger. 上述例句中,monkey, elephant 和 tiger 都是单数形式,be 动词用 is。
