Once upon a time... 英语童话故事:小红帽There lived in a certain village a little country girl, the prettiest creature was ever seen. Her mother was excessively fond of her; and her grandmother doted on her still more. This good woman had made for her a little red riding-hood; which became the girl so extremely well that everybody called her Little Red Riding-Hood.One day her mother, having made some custards, said to her: "Go, my dear, and see how thy grandmamma does, for I hear she has been very ill; carry her a custard, and this little pot of butter."Little Red Riding-Hood set out immediately to go to her grandmother, who lived in another village. As she was going through the wood, she met with Gaffer Wolf, who had a very great mind to eat her up, but he dared not, because of some faggot-makers hard by in the forest. He asked her whither she was going. The poor child, who did not know that it was dangerous to stay and hear a wolf talk, said to him: "I am going to see my grandmamma and carry her a custard and a little pot of butter from my mamma.""Does she live far off?" said the Wolf."Oh! ay," answered Little Red Riding-Hood; "it is beyond thatmill you see there, at the first house in the village.""Well," said the Wolf, "and I'll go and see her too. I'll go this way and you go that, and we shall see who will be there soonest."The Wolf began to run as fast as he could, taking the nearest way, and the little girl went by that farthest about, diverting herself in gathering nuts, running after butterflies, and making nosegays of such little flowers as she met with. The Wolf was not long before he got to the old woman's house. He knocked at the door--tap, tap."Who's there?""Your grandchild, Little Red Riding-Hood," replied the Wolf, counterfeiting her voice; "who has brought you a custard and a little pot of butter sent you by mamma."The good grandmother, who was in bed, because she was somewhat ill, cried out"Pull the bobbin, and the latch will go up."The Wolf pulled the bobbin, and the door opened, and then presently he fell upon the good woman and ate her up in a moment, for it was above three days that he had not touched a bit. He then shut the door and went into the grandmother's bed, expecting Little Red Riding- Hood, who came some time afterward and knocked at the door--tap, tap."Who's there?"Little Red Riding-Hood, hearing the big voice of the Wolf, was at first afraid; but believing her grandmother had got a cold and was hoarse, answered:" 'Tis your grandchild, Little Red Riding-Hood, who has brought you a custard and a little pot of butter mamma sends you."The Wolf cried out to her, softening his voice as much as he could:"Pull the bobbin, and the latch will go up."Little Red Riding-Hood pulled the bobbin, and the door opened. The Wolf, seeing her come in, said to her, hiding himself under the bed-clothes:"Put the custard and the little pot of butter upon the stool, and come and lie down with me."Little Red Riding-Hood undressed herself and went into bed, where, being greatly amazed to see how her grandmother looked in her night-clothes, she said to her:"Grandmamma, what great arms you have got!""That is the better to hug thee, my dear.""Grandmamma, what great legs you have got!""That is to run the better, my child.""Grandmamma, what great ears you have got!""That is to hear the better, my child.""Grandmamma, what great eyes you have got!""It is to see the better, my child.""Grandmamma, what great teeth you have got!""That is to eat thee up."And, saying these words, this wicked wolf fell upon Little Red Riding-Hood, and ate her all up.。

Every one loved her, but her grandmother loved her most. There was nothing that she would not give to the child. Once she gave her a little red cap. The little girl liked it very much and she would never wear anything else. So she was always called little red-cap. One day her mother said to her, "Come, little red-cap, here is a piece of cake and a bottle of wine. Take them to your grandmother, she is ill and weak, and they will be good to her." "I will take great care, Mum." Said little red-cap to her mother, and went to see her grandmother. The grandmother lived out in the wood, half a mile from the village. Just as little red-cap entered the wood, a wolf met her. Little red-cap did not know what a wicked(坏的,邪恶的)creature he was, and was not at all afraid of him. "Good-day, little red-cap," said he. "Thank you kindly, wolf." "Where do you go so early, little red-cap?" "To see my grandmother." "What have you got in your apron(围裙)?" "Cake and wine. Yesterday my mother made some cakes. I hope it can help my sick grandmother become stronger." "Where you're your grandmother live, little red-cap?" "In the wood. Her house stands under the three large oak-trees(橡树)." Replied little red-cap. The wolf thought to himself, what a tender(嫩的) young girl! She will be better to eat than the old woman. I must act craftily(狡猾地), so as to catch both. So he said, "See little red-cap, how pretty the flowers are about here. Why not look round? I believe(相信), too, that you do not hear how sweetly(甜蜜地) the little birds are singing. You walk as if you were going to school, while everything else out here in the wood is merry." Little red-cap looked around and when she saw the sunbeams(光束,光线)dancing here and there through the trees, and pretty flowers growing everywhere, she thought, "I should take my grandmother some pretty flowers. That would make her happy, too. It is so early that I shall still get there on time." And so she ran from the path into the wood to look for flowers. And whenever she had picked one, she saw a still prettier one and ran after it, and so got deeper and deeper into the wood. The wolf ran straight to the grandmother's house and knocked at the door. "Who is there?" "Little red-cap," replied the wolf. "She is bringing cake and wine. Open the door." "Lift the latch(门闩)," called out the grandmother, "I am too weak, and cannot get up." The wolf lifted the latch, the door opened, and without saying a word he went straight to the grandmother's bed, and devoured(吞吃) her. Then he put on her clothes, dressed himself in her cap, laid himself in bed and drew the curtains. Little red-cap was picking flowers, and when she had gathered so many that she could carry no more, she remembered her grandmother, and went to see her. She was surprised to find the cottage-door open, and when she went into the room, she had a strange feeling. She called out, "Good morning," but there was no answer. So she went to the bed and removed the curtains(帘⼦). Her grandmother lay there, her cap covered her face and she looked very strange. "Oh, grandmother," she said, "what big ears you have." "So I can hear you clearly, my child," was the reply. "But, grandmother, what big eyes you have," she said. "So I can see you clearly, my dear." "But, grandmother, what large hands you have." "So I can hug you tightly, my dear." "Oh, but, grandmother, what a terrible big mouth you have." "So I can eat you quickly." And as soon as he said these, the wolf jumped out and swallowed up(吞下) red-cap. When the wolf had appeased(满⾜) his appetite(⾷欲,胃⼝), he lay down again in the bed, fell asleep and began to snore(打鼾) very loudly. The huntsman(猎⼈) was just passing the house, and thought to himself, how the old woman is snoring. I must just see if she wants anything. So he went into the room, and when he came to the bed, he saw that the wolf was lying in it. " I find you here, you old sinner(罪⼈)," said he. "I have looked for you everywhere!" Then just as he was going to fire at him, it occurred to him that the wolf might have devoured the old woman. She might still be saved, so he did not fire, but took a pair of scissors(剪⼑), and began to cut open the stomach(胃)of the sleeping wolf. He saw the little red-cap shining, and then he made two snips(剪) more, and the little girl jumped out, crying, "Ah, how frightened! How dark it was inside the wolf." And after that the old grandmother came out alive also, but scarcely(简直不) able to breathe(呼吸). Red-cap, however, quickly picked great stones and they filled the wolf's belly(腹部), and when he awoke, he wanted to run away, but the stones were so heavy that he collapsed(倒塌) at once, and fell dead. Then all three were happy. The huntsman drew off the wolf's skin and went home with it. The grandmother ate the cake and drank the wine, and she felt better. Little red-cap thought to herself, " I will never leave the path to run into the wood again." Some days later when red-cap was again taking cakes to the old grandmother, another wolf spoke to her, and tried to entice(诱惑) her to the wood. Red-cap went straight forward on her way, and told her grandmother that she had met the wolf. He had said good-morning to her, but in his eyes there was a wicked look. If they were in the wood, the wolf would have eaten her up. "Well," said the grandmother, "we will shut the door, that he may not come in." Soon the wolf knocked, and cried, "open the door, grandmother, I am little red-cap, and am bringing you some cakes." But they did not speak, or open the door, so the gray wolf walked twice or thrice round the house, and at last jumped on the roof. He wanted to wait until red-cap went home in the evening, and then to devour her in the darkness. But the grandmother knew what he was going to do. In front of the house was a great stone trough(槽)槽, so she said to the child, "Take the pail(桶), red-cap. I made some sausages(⾹肠) yesterday, so carry the sausage water and I filled the trough." Red-cap carried until the great trough was quite full. Then the smell(⽓味) of the sausages reached the wolf, and he sniffed (吸⽓)and peeped down(向下看), and at last he stretched out (伸出)his neck so far that he began to slip(滑), and slipped down from the roof straight into the great trough, and was drowned(淹死). But little red-cap went home happily, and no one ever did anything to harm her again.。

There's a hedge of hazel bushes there. You must know the place," said Little Red Cap.The wolf thought to himself, "Now that sweet young thing is a tasty bite for me. She will taste even better than the old woman. You must be sly, and you can catch them both."He walked along a little while with Little Red Cap, then he said, "Little Red Cap, just look at the beautiful flowers that are all around us. Why don't you go and take a look? And I don't believe you can hear how beautifully the birds are singing. You are walking along as though you were on your way to school. It is very beautiful in the woods."Little Red Cap opened her eyes and when she saw the sunbeams dancing to and fro through the trees and how the ground was covered with beautiful flowers, she thought, "If a take a fresh bouquet to grandmother, she will be very pleased. Anyway, it is still early, and I'll be home on time." And she ran off the path into the woods looking for flowers. Each timeshe picked one she thought that she could see an even more beautiful one a little way off, and she ran after it, going further and further into the woods. But the wolf ran straight to the grandmother's house and knocked on the door."Who's there?""Little Red Cap. I'm bringing you some cake and wine. Open the door.""Just press the latch," called out the grandmother. "I'm too weak to get up."The wolf pressed the latch, and the door opened. Then he put on her clothes, put her cap on his head, got into her bed, and pulled the curtains shut.Little Red Cap had run after the flowers. Grandmother was lying there with her cap pulled down over her face and looking very strange."Oh, grandmother, what big ears you have!""All the better to hear you with.""Oh, grandmother, what big eyes you have!""All the better to see you with.""Oh, grandmother, what big hands you have!""All the better to grab you with!""Oh, grandmother, what a horribly big mouth you have!""All the better to eat you with!"The wolf had scarcely finished speaking when he jumped from the bed with a single leap and ate up poor Little Red Cap. As soon as the wolf had satisfied his desires, he climbed back into bed, fell asleep, and began to snore very loudly.A huntsman was just passing by. He thought, "The old woman is snoring so loudly. You had better see if something is wrong with her."He stepped into the parlor, and when he approached the bed, he saw the wolf lying there. "So here I find you, you old sinner," he said. "I have been hunting for you a long time."He was about to aim his rifle when it occurred to him that the wolf might have eaten the grandmother, and that she still might be rescued. So instead of shooting, he took a pair of scissors and began to cut open the wolf's belly. After a few cuts he saw the red cap shining through.,and after a few more cuts the girl jumped out, crying, "Oh, I was so frightened! It was so dark inside the wolf's body!"And then the grandmother came out as well, alive but hardly able to breathe. Then Little Red Cap fetched some large stones. She filled the wolf's body with them, and when he woke up and tried to run away, the stones were so heavy that he immediately fell down dead. The three of them were happy. The huntsman skinned the wolf and went home with the pelt. The grandmother ate the cake and drank the wine that Little Red Cap had brought. But Little Red Cap took care and went straight to grandmother's. She told her that she had seen the wolf, and that he had wished her a good day, but had stared at her in a wicked manner. "If we hadn't been on a public road, he would have eaten me up," she said."Come," said the grandmother. "Let's lock the door, so he can't get in."Soon afterward the wolf knocked on the door and called out, "Open up, grandmother. It's Little Red Cap, and I'm bringing you some baked things." They remained silent, and did not open the door. Gray-Head crept around the house several times, and finally jumped onto the roof. He wanted to wait until Little Red Cap went home that evening, then follow her and eat her up in the darkness. But the grandmother saw what he was up to. There was a large stone trough in front of the house."Fetch a bucket, Little Red Cap," she said to the child. "Yesterday I cooked some sausage. Carry the water that I boiled them with to the trough." Little Red Cap carried water until the large, large trough was clear full. The smell of sausage arose into the wolf's nose. 英语作文小红帽童话故事Title: The Tale of Little Red Riding Hood。
Once upon a time, in a quaint little village nestled amidst the rolling hills, there lived a young girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She was known for her vibrant red cloak, which she wore everywhere, earning her the affectionate nickname of Little Red. One sunny morning, her mother called her into the kitchen."Little Red," her mother said, "your grandmother isn't feeling well. Would you be a dear and take this basket of goodies to her?"Little Red nodded eagerly, excited at the prospect of visiting her beloved grandmother. With the basket in hand, she set off through the woods, following the winding path that led to her grandmother's cottage. As Little Red ventured deeper into the forest, sheencountered a sly and cunning wolf, who had been lurking behind the trees."Good day, Little Red," the wolf greeted her with a toothy grin. "Where might you be off to on this fine day?""I'm going to visit my grandmother," Little Red replied cheerfully, oblivious to the wolf's ulterior motives."Ah, your grandmother's cottage," the wolf mused. "Why don't you take the scenic route through the forest? It's much faster, and you'll arrive in no time."Innocently, Little Red followed the wolf's advice, straying from the main path and venturing deeper into the woods. Unbeknownst to her, the wolf had sinister intentions, eager to reach the grandmother's cottage before Little Red.Meanwhile, at the grandmother's cottage, the elderly woman lay in bed, feeling unwell. She heard a knock at the door and assumed it was her granddaughter."Come in, dear," the grandmother called out weakly. To her surprise and horror, the wolf entered the cottage, disguised in her granddaughter's cloak."Grandmother, what big ears you have!" Little Red exclaimed as she entered the cottage, noticing the wolf's large, pointed ears."All the better to hear you with, my dear," the wolf replied, his voice disguised to mimic Little Red's."Grandmother, what big eyes you have!" Little Red continued, growing suspicious of the wolf's appearance."All the better to see you with, my dear," the wolf replied, his eyes gleaming with hunger.Realizing the danger she was in, Little Red screamed and fled from the cottage, racing through the forest asfast as her legs could carry her. The wolf pursued her, his growls echoing through the trees.Fortunately, Little Red's cries for help were heard by a passing woodsman, who rushed to her aid. With his trusty axe, the woodsman confronted the wolf and rescued Little Red from harm.Together, they returned to the grandmother's cottage, where they found the elderly woman safe but shaken by the encounter. From that day forth, Little Red learned to heed her mother's warnings and never stray from the path again. And so, the tale of Little Red Riding Hood serves as a cautionary reminder of the dangers that lurk in the world, and the importance of staying true to one's path.。

用英语讲小红帽的故事
用英语讲小红帽的故事Once upon a time, in a village nestled in the heart of a dense forest, there was a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She was known for her cheerful personality and her love of spending time in the forest gathering flowers. Any time she had a chance, Little Red Riding Hood made her way into the dense woodland that surrounded her village. One day, her mother asked her to take a basket of goodies to her grandmother, who lived in a tiny cottage deep in the forest. Little Red Riding Hood was happy to oblige and quickly set off on the journey, ready to deliver the basket to her grandmother. As Little Red Riding Hood was making her way through the forest, a sly and cunning wolf had been keeping a close eye on her. The wolf had plans of his own and saw a golden opportunity when he spied Little Red Riding Hood making her way alone through the forest. The wolf waited until Little Red Riding Hood was a little way ahead before jumping out from his hiding place and asking her what she was carrying. The little girl, naïve and innocent, didn't hesitate to tell the wolf where she was going and what she was carrying in her basket. The cunning wolf, with a plan already forming in his mind, convinced Little Red Riding Hood to take some flowers for her grandmother. The wolf was keenly aware that the small detour would only serve to give him more time to get to the cottage ahead of her.Little Red Riding Hood gathered some flowers, said goodbye to the wolf, and went on her way. The wolf, however, had a different plan than just staying put. He rushed to Grandmother's cottage, and after sneaking in through the back door, he devoured her. The wolf wore Grandmother's clothing, and he lay in bed, waiting for Little Red Riding Hood's arrival. When Little Red Riding Hood reached her grandmother's cottage, she knocked on the door, but there was no answer. She tried again, but still, there was no response. She noticed that the door was slightly ajar, and she pushed it open. Inside, Little Red Riding Hood saw her grandmother lying in bed, with someone - or something - lying beside her."Grandmother, what big ears you have!" said Little Red Riding Hood."The better to hear you, my dear," said the wolf, in Grandmother's voice."Grandmother, what big eyes you have!" said Little Red Riding Hood."The better to see you, my dear," replied the wolf, still using Grandmother's voice."Grandmother, what big teeth you have!" said Little Red Riding Hood, growing more and more afraid."The better to eat you with, my dear!" shouted the wolf, and he leaped from the bed, sprang towards Little Red Riding Hood, and devoured her.The moral of this story is that we must be wary and cautious of our surroundings, especially when we are alone. If we are not careful, we may fall into the traps of others, who may have harmful intentions towards us. So, always be vigilant and never let your guard down.。

小红帽的故事英语版
Once upon a time, there was a lovely little girl called Little Red Riding Hood. She had this name because her grandma gave her a little red hood, and she wore it every day. Her grandmother loved her very much.
One day her mother said to her, “Little Red Riding Hood, please take this basket of food to your grandmother. Be careful on the way, and do not leave the path”.
Don’t worry mum, I’ll be careful!”said Little Red Riding Hood to her mother, and set out on the way to her grandmother’s.
Her grandmother lived in a village on the other side of the wood. As Little Red Riding Hood entered the wood, a wolf met her. She had never seen a wolf before, so she didn’t know they were dangerous.
“Good day, Little Red Riding Hood. My name is Wolf. Nice to meet you”.
“Hi Wolf. Nice to meet you too”.
“Where are you going, Little Red Riding Hood?”
“To my grandmother’s house”
“Where does she live?”
“She lives in the village on the other side of the wood over there. It’s the first house in the village”, replied Little Red Riding Hood.
The wolf walked next to Little Red Riding hood, and then said “Look at those pretty flowers! Why don’t you pick some for your grandmother?”
Little Red Riding Hood looked and saw all the pretty flowers. She ran off the path, and started picking a bunch of flowers for her grandmother. Meanwhile, the wolf ran straight to grandmother’s house and knocked on the door.
“Who’s there?”
“Little Red Riding Hood,”replied the wolf. “I have some food for you, please open the door!”
Grandmother opened the door. The wolf quickly jumped in and pushed grandmother into the closet.
“Help! Please let me out!”cried grandmother.
“Be quiet and stay in the closet!”The wolf put on Grandmother’s dress, cap and glasses, and got into Grandmother’s bed.
After Little Red Riding Hood had picked a big bunch of flowers, she finally arrived at grandmother’s house. She saw the open door, and called out “Good Morning!”. There was no answer. She slowly went into the bedroom, and saw her grandmother lying in bed, looking very strange. “Oh! grandmother,”she said, “what big ears you have!”
“All the better to hear you with, my child,”was the reply.
But, grandmother, what big eyes you have!”she said.
“All the better to see you with, my dear.”said the wolf.
“But, grandmother, what large hands you have!”
“All the better to hug you with.”
“Oh! but, grandmother, what a terrible big mouth you have!”
“All the better to eat you with!”
The wolf jumped out of bed and wanted to eat Little Red Riding Hood. She shouted loudly and tried to run away.
Just then, a hunter was passing the house. He heard Little Red Riding Hood’s cry and went into the house.
“Go away, wolf!”said the Hunter.
He pulled out his bow and shot the wolf. The wolf ran away, and Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother lived happily ever after.。
