Unit 6 Ancient stories一、教材分析本单元围绕着谈论“历史故事”来展开听、说、读、写的训练。

通过历史故事木马屠城、古代奥林匹克运动会、古希腊众祌、庞贝古城等多角度的资讯来贯穿文化的传递和交流,拓展学生的文化背景知识与国际视野。

语法方而主要学习现在完成时与’’since,for”连用及现在完成时态与一般过去时态的用法区别。

并培养学生在完成一篇有关特洛伊战争的短篇故事尝试正确使用这些词。

具体课型、课时安排如下:二、教学对象分析1.学生对“历史故事”这个话题比较感兴趣,带有神秘色彩的异国文化题材对屮学生也很有吸引力,容易唤起他们求知的欲望,有利于开展本单元的各项听、说、读、写任务。

2.学生在初一时已经接触过现在完成时,但学生对苒用法是不甚了解的,在本单元作专项系统的学习。

学生们在上个单元解了“现在进行时”的意义、构成方法以及与之经常连用的儿个吋间副词和介词,而现在我们进一步要求学生理解现在完成吋态与一般过去吋态的用法区别, 这是现在完成时态的另一个重点和难点,在教学屮教师需要可学的引导,并结合实际运川重点操练。

三、单元教学目标.认知目标:2.思想情感目标:1)通过谈论“交友”的相关话题,帮助学生快速适应新环境以及找到新朋友。

2)结合课文的内容,引导学生通过邮件的形式结交更多的笔友,拓展自己的视野。

在设计这一教学内容时,我充分利用了课程、网络、影音等资源,旨在通过本课的学习使学生不仅了解到许多古代的经典故事,更学会更多的英语表达方法;并通过各种教学活动帮助学生了解和学会自主、合作、探究的学习策略和学习方法,同时通过课堂教学在提高学生英语听、说、读的基础上达成写的目标。

二、教学目标(一)知识目标1. 读懂文章,了解木马计的故事。

2. 培养学生根据关键词和语境猜测大意的能力。

3. 进一步理解、应用一般过去时与现在完成时。

(二)能力目标1)语言知识目标:能够了解过现在完成时的基本构成。

在学完这篇文章以后能够熟练的看图复述文章的内容。

2)智力发展目标:在连贯的听、说活动中,训练学生的逻辑思维和快速反应能力。

三、难点和重点1. 重点1)词汇学习和语言点的掌握。

新课程标准上说词汇学习是英语学习的最基础的环节,只有词汇量丰富,语言点熟练的人才能达到学以致用的目的,牛津英语教材一般会在Reading里编排较多的词汇和语言点学习,如果学生都能熟练掌握,那么对后面的学习就有很大的帮助。

本课是一篇较长的阅读文章,里面也有比较多的内容要求学生通过学习能熟练掌握并灵活运用。
