这是一个学生十分感兴趣的事,为了保证学生在课堂上有话想说,有话可说,教师在课前就布置了学生搜集有关东西方节日的风俗资料,逐步培养学生搜集处理信息的能力。
对于农村的孩子来说,对于节日的活动不是很熟悉,尤其是西方节日。
为了帮助学生取得良好的学习效果,教师运用不同的教学方法去刺激学生的学习欲望,最大限度地调动学生的学习积极性去参与课堂学习,尽可能地让学生在这节课的学习过程中获得大量的信息,在愉快的课堂中掌握好学习的内容,并在学习的过程中融入对西方文化和风俗的介绍。

一、教案背景:该课为牛津小学英语6A中Unit 6 Holidays的A部分,并作为本单元的第一课时授课。
二、教学课题:6A Unit 6 Holidays三、教材分析:本课时的教学是一个典型的语篇教学,围绕“谈论节日里所做的事”这一话题展开教学活动。
在五年级教材中曾出现过有关于Halloween的语篇,在后一单元,又出现了有关Christmas的相关内容。
在新课标二级目标的文化意识中第7条,有明确的要求:了解英语国家中的重要节日。
在五级和八级中,要求通过中外文化对比,加深对中国文化的理解。
所以抓住课题holidays这一主题,让学生了解更多的中外节日是我们本单元的主旨。
而作为第一课时的A部分教学,则通过对四个节日的学习,来提高学生的语篇阅读能力。
节日是学生非常感兴趣的一个话题。
本课中所涉及到一般现在时学生已熟练掌握,一般过去时在前两个单元中也已经系统学习过,引导学生灵活运用这两个时态,轻松自由的谈论节日中人们的活动。
孩子们也热衷于上网搜索、小组合作、汇报陈述等学习方式,所以我们要让学生“有话想讲,有话可讲”。
因为教学中需要运用到多媒体教学,还需要学生主动上网搜索相关资料,所以在计算机(网络)教室中,拓宽学习的渠道,改进学习的方式,提高教学的效果,以使教师的教与学生的学达到最优化。
