1.不定代词作主语 不定代词either,neither,each,one,someone,somebody,something,
anyone,anybody,nobody,no one,everything等作主语时,谓语动词用单 数。
Either answer is correct. 两个答案都正确。 Each boy and each girl likes Jay Chou. 每个男孩和女孩都喜欢周杰伦。

2)意义上要一致,即主语意义上的单复数要与谓语的单复数形式一致。
3)邻近原则,即谓语动词的简单和复杂形式取决于最接近它的词,一般说,不可数名词用动词单数,可数名词复数用动词复数。
例如:热水瓶里有很多水。
但当不可数名词前有表示数量的复数名词时,谓语动词用复数形式。
例如:去年生产了一万吨煤。
15.1并列结构作主语时谓语用复数,例如:阅读和写作是很重要的。

注意:当主语由and连结时,如果它表示一个单一的概念,即指同一人或同一物时,谓语动词用单数,and此时连接的两个词前只有一个冠词。

班上有二十个男孩和二十三个女孩。
2)当either…or…与neither…nor,连接两个主语时,谓语动词与最邻近的主语保持一致。
如果句子是由here,there引导,而主语又不止一个时,谓语通常也和最邻近的主语一致。
例如:不管是你还是我。
要么你去,要么她去。

1.every/each/no+单数名词+and every/each /no+单数名词短语做主语,谓语
动词用。
2.单个的不定式,v-ing,主语从句作主语时,谓语动词用。
3.基数词只表示数字作主语时,谓语动词用。

种物品具体数量时用复数。
)加和乘,谓语动词用;减和除谓语动词用。
4.以s结尾表示学科,国家,机构,书籍,报刊等做主语时,谓语动词
用。
5.不定代词any,none,all,some,more,most单独作主语,谓语动词
用:All表示人,谓语动词用;表示事情谓语动词用。
后接of短语:如果of后的宾语为不可数,谓语动词用;为复数名词,谓语动词用,正式文体中用。
6.由every,no,any,some构成的复合词,如everyone,none,anyone,
somebody等,either,neither,each做主语时,谓语动词用。
Each of+ 做主语,谓语动词用。
N+each做主语,谓语动词用。
7.Jewellery,equipment,furniture等作主语时,谓语动词用。
8.表示重量、距离、金钱、一段时间及由one and a half 修饰的复数名词
作主语时, 谓语动词用。
9.以many a或more than one修饰的单数名词,谓语动词用,但
其意义是复数性的。
e.g. Many a boy (be)fond of playing football.
More than one student (enjoy)folk-music.
但more +n复数+ than one作主语时,谓语动词用。
10.由and连接的两个不同概念的名词作主语时,谓语动词用:
当and连接的为同一人、事或概念时, 这时and后的名词前没有冠词, 谓语动词用:
e.g. The singer and composer (come)to our school.
Bread and butter (be)often served for breakfast.
Pork and Chinese cabbage (be)one of my favourite dishes.常见的由and连接的指一个概念的有: the needle and thread, salt and water, the folk and knife, soap and water, iron and steel, a watch and chain, the bread and butter, truth and honesty, a cup and saucer (茶托) 等。

12.“the + adj. (分词或数词)”结构起名词作用时:如果这个结构表示的是一
类人, 谓语动词用, 如果这个结构表示抽象概念(或具体的某

more than, as much as, but, except, besides, including等连接两个名词时,谓语动词用。
16.one of + 复数名词,谓语动词用。

17.one of + 复数名词+ 定语从句, 谓语动词用。

the (only、very) one of + 名词(复数) + 定语从句, 从句中谓语动词用, 表示众多中只有一个, 如:
