托福高分范文:大学教育是个人成功的最重要因素吗

托福高分范文:大学教育是个人成功的最重要因素吗托福写作题目:Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? University education isthe most important factor in a person's success.优秀范文:As is vastly acknowledged, the precious years spent in the university deserve a person's lifelong cherishment.Higher education doubtlessly constitutes a crucial stage during the long journey toward shining success. In spite of this, receiving a college degree only symbolizes one's primary academic achievement and the early maturity of his personality. Therefore, I would rather prefer to regard university education as a stepping stone toward success rather than the most important factor. In the first place, we shall never deny the important role higher learning plays in a person's self-development. It is a special period of time before a young adult enters the society and finally turns himself into a qualified and responsible social member. Thus, all the knowledge, skills along with the precious life experience accumulated inside this ivory tower would produce far-reaching influences on a person's future endeavors toward success. To illustrate, unlike preliminary education that emphasizes largely on themost fundamental theories in the textbooks, university education provides more opportunities for the students to put what has been learned into practice and guides them to seek truth from the facts. Tutors are allowing independent thinking and give their students more freedom to express personal opinions. Finally, equipped with specialized skills grasped in the university, graduates would have greater confidence to begin the next stage of life.Nevertheless, it is too absolute to define university education as the most important factor in a person's success. Other crucial elements should also be stressed. The world today is filled with eminent figures who have never received a university degree but become astoundingly successful. Among them, Bill Gates, the richest man on earth, should be brought into the limelight. He entered Harvard in 1973 but quit school two years later to set up Microsoft, which has taken the IT industry by storm and dominates the PC market with its operating systems. His brilliant success owes much to his inner qualities, including wisdom, a strong will, self-confidence, creativity and above all, his everlasting diligence. Evidently, all these criticalqualities could be found in each successful talent.Indeed, education is a life-long process and every stage possesses its unique significance. Ever since one's birth, his education has begun. Parents could be considered as the first teachers who render enlightening knowledge to their child. Later, formal education is received from the kindergarten and the primary school. During this period, teachers help children comprehend common sense and lead them to learn the most basic theories. As soon as a person arrives at the high school age, richer knowledge could be gained and more skills could be grasped. Doubtlessly, preliminary education prepares a person for the new stage of life in the university. Even when one graduates from the university, education is still to be continued at work. Just as the old saying goes, "You're never too old to learn". As a result, not only university education, but also education in other periods, could be equally important factors that make a person succeed. To conclude, the opportunity to receive higher education instills endless happiness into a person's life. Such a meaningful experience also paves the way to hissuccess in the future. Nevertheless, if other important factors are neglected, obtaining a university diploma is far from enough to reach the target. Only through unremitting efforts and the iron determination to learn even after graduation could it be possible for a person to become successful at last.

1Is University Education a Guarantee for Success?Hi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 10-year-old elementary school student. Today, I want to talk to you about something that has been on my mind a lot lately - does going to university mean you'll definitely be successful in life? It's a big question and I've been thinking hard about it.My parents and teachers are always telling me that I need to study hard so I can get into a good university when I'm older. They say that having a university degree will help me get a great job and earn lots of money. And it's true that most people with good jobs have been to university. But I've also noticed that some of the most successful people in the world, like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, actually dropped out of university. Gates left Harvard to start Microsoft, and Zuckerberg left Harvard to create Facebook. If they didn't finish university, how did they end up being so rich and famous?I think the reason is that they had a really good idea that they were passionate about. Instead of spending years studying subjects they weren't interested in, they put all their energy into making their idea a reality. Having that drive, creativity and belief in themselves was more important than having a degree. That got me wondering - maybe university isn't absolutely essential for success after all? Maybe what really matters is finding something you love doing and working super hard at it.Of course, I'm not saying university is a total waste of time. Obviously, you need certain qualifications and knowledge to have careers like being a doctor, lawyer, teacher or scientist. And university gives you a chance to study those subjects in-depth. It can also help you develop important skills like time management, problem-solving and critical thinking. But from what I can see, there seem to be two paths to success. One is getting a university education to prepare you for a professional career. The other is spotting an opportunity, having a brilliant business idea, and putting everything into making it work - with or without a degree. Both paths require hard work, dedication and not giving up easily. If you want to be a doctor, you have to keep studying for years and years. If you want to start the next Facebook orMicrosoft, you have to work night and day to turn your idea into reality.I've also realized that being "successful" doesn't just mean having a high-paying job or being rich and famous. For some people, success might be doing a job they find rewarding and enjoyable, even if it doesn't make them a millionaire. For others, it might mean achieving a good work-life balance and having time for family. Everybody has a different idea of what success looks like for them.So from what I can tell so far, university education can definitely help with being successful - but only if you use those years studying something you genuinely care about and want to build a career in. Getting a random degree just because you're "supposed to" doesn't seem like the path to happiness or fulfillment. And if, like Gates and Zuckerberg, you have an amazing business concept that you're truly passionate about, maybe the best option is to skip the uni route and pour all your energy into that. As long as you work incredibly hard and never lose belief in your vision, you just might end up being the next big success story.I still haven't decided for sure what path I want to take. I really enjoy coming up with ideas for apps and games, but I also love subjects like math, science and English. I could see myself either going into business and tech, or possibly becoming a writer or engineer someday.Whichever direction I choose, I know now that having a university education isn't an automatic ticket to success and wealth. It's just one possible way to acquire knowledge and skills. The most important ingredients are finding your calling, working super hard at it every single day, and never giving up on your dreams - whether they involve higher education or not.So those are my thoughts so far! I'd love to hear what you guys think too. Do you agree that university education isn't 100% essential as long as you're passionate and driven? Or do you think getting a degree is always the best path? I'm excited to hear all your perspectives!篇2Does Going to University Mean You'll Be Successful? An Essay by a KidHey guys! Today I want to talk about something super important - going to university and if that means you're gonnabe a big success in life. It's a pretty big question and I've been thinking a lot about it lately.See, all the grown-ups are always saying that I need to study real hard, get good grades, and go to a fancy university when I'm older. They say that's the key to getting a awesome job and living a sweet life when I'm an adult. But is that really true? I'm not so sure!I look around and notice lots of successful people who didn't even go to university at all. There's that neighbor lady who started her own bakery business and is rolling in dough (get it?). My uncle never stepped foot on a university campus and he's loaded from investing in real estate. Heck, even my idol Kylie Jenner is a billionaire and she didn't need a degree! On the other hand, I know just as many people who went to university for years, probably spending a million dollars on tuition, and they're still struggling bigtime. My cousin has a master's degree and he's slaving away at a lame desk job that doesn't even pay that well. Ms. Johnson, my third grade teacher, has about a zillion degrees and she's still stuck teachingsnot-nosed brats like us!So what's the deal? Is university the golden ticket to success and riches like the adults claim? Or are they just lying to us andwasting our time by making us jump through all those academic hoops for nothing? I gotta say, from what I can see so far, the evidence is pretty mixed.I think going to university can definitely help make you successful in some cases. You learn a ton of book smarts and specialized skills that a lot of cool careers need. Plus, that degree can open doors and help you get hired for high-paying jobs. My dad always brags about how his engineering degree from Stanford landed him his first gig.But university is just one path - it's not the only way to make it. Plenty of insanely successful business owners, celebrities, athletes, and inventors were university dropouts or never went at all. Sometimes having natural talent, creativity, ambition, and street smarts can take you a lot farther than just book knowledge. Look at Steve Jobs, Lady Gaga, Mark Zuckerberg - zero university degrees but they're all stinkin' rich and famous!Ultimately, I think whether university leads to success or not comes down to you as an individual. A university education can provide useful training and credentials, yeah, but you still gotta have the drive, work ethic, people skills, and entrepreneurial spirit to really capitalize on that education. Likewise, if you're aself-starter who puts in the blood, sweat, and tears - you can be hugely successful without ever attending uni.So am I going to go to university when I'm older? Maybe...it's still a long way off and I haven't made up my mind yet. It seems like a good idea in some ways but also a huge time and money commitment. I'll have to figure out if it's really worth it for what I want to do career-wise. And maybe I'll just become a wildly popular YouTuber or video game streamer instead - then I could make millions without needing to set foot on a campus! How sick would that be?For now, I'm just going to stay focused on being a kid, enjoying life, and trying my best in school each day. Whether I choose university or not, I know the keys will be working hard, believing in myself, and being hungry for success. Those qualities can take you farther than any educational pedigree in my book. What do you guys think - is university a golden path to success or what? Let me know!篇3Does Going to University Really Mean You'll Be Successful?Hey there! My name's Billy and I'm 10 years old. I'm already starting to think about my future and what I want to be when Igrow up. My parents and teachers are always telling me that if I study hard and go to a good university, I'll be able to get a great job and be really successful. But is that really true?I have some doubts about whether going to university actually guarantees you'll be successful in life. Sure, you'll probably learn a lot and get a fancy degree, but does that mean you're destined for an amazing career and lots of money? I'm not so sure! For one thing, there are plenty of people who never went to university at all and they turned out just fine. My uncle Bobby dropped out of high school but now he owns his own plumbing company and makes a ton of cash. He's really good at what he does even though he doesn't have a degree. Or what about all those famous entrepreneurs like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg who dropped out of college? Clearly you don't need a university education to become a billionaire! Then you have to look at all the university graduates who can't find a decent job. My neighbor Sarah has a master's degree in English Literature but she's been working as a barista at Starbucks for years because she couldn't get hired anywhere else. What was the point of her spending all that time and money onschool if she ended up with a job she could have gotten straight out of high school? Sounds like a waste to me.I also know some university grads who hated their jobs and quit to do something completely different that they're way more passionate about. Like my friend Jake's older brother who has an engineering degree but quit his boring desk job to become a yoga instructor instead. Was getting that degree worth it for him if he's not even using it?On top of all that, the cost of university these days is just insane! My parents are always complaining about how much tuition is and how I'll probably be buried in student loans for decades after I graduate if I go. Is racking up all that debt as a young adult really worth the risk of maybe getting a good job… or maybe not? Lots of students drop out too without ever getting their degree but are still stuck paying back those huge loans. No thanks!I'm just not convinced that going to university is an automatic ticket to success and riches. It seems like there are tons of other paths that can lead to a satisfying career and making good money too. Like getting technical training for a trade, starting your own business, or pursuing whatever you'repassionate about even if it's not a traditional "professional" career.Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely going to work hard in school and keep my options open. And if I do decide university is the right path for me, I'll give it my all. But I'm also going to be realistic. Having a university degree doesn't hand you success on a silver platter. There are no guarantees in life.At the end of the day, I think being successful comes down to following your interests, working really hard, and maybe getting a bit lucky. A university education could help with that, but it's not the only way. I don't want to spend years being miserable and broke just to get a degree for a career I might not even care about. I'd rather find my own version of success, even if it means forging my own path without a university diploma. What matters most is being happy, right?篇4Does Going to University Mean You Will Be Successful?Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. I've been thinking a lot lately about whether I should go to university when I'm older. All the grown-ups tell me that going to university is really important if I want to get a good job and be successful inlife. But is that really true? Let me share my thoughts on this subject.First of all, what does it even mean to be "successful"? To me, being successful means being happy, having friends and family who love me, and doing something I enjoy every day. Making lots of money isn't that important to me. As long as I have enough to buy food, clothes, and little treats sometimes, I'll be content. The grown-ups seem to think success is all about having a high-paying career and fancy house and cars. But those things don't guarantee happiness. My uncle went to a top university and now he's a rich lawyer. He has a huge house and expensive cars. But he also works very long hours, is always stressed out, and doesn't spend much time with his family. To me, that doesn't sound very successful. On the other hand, my aunt didn't go to university but started her own little craft business. She doesn't make a ton of money but she seems very happy and relaxed. Which one do you think is more successful?I've also heard stories about people who went to university, spent years studying things they weren't passionate about, and ended up in careers they didn't enjoy. That doesn't sound successful to me at all! What's the point of getting an educationif you end up miserable? I'd rather figure out what I really love doing and then find a way to get paid for that, even if it doesn't require a university degree. That said, I do understand there are some careers where you absolutely need a university education, like if you want to be a doctor, scientist, teacher, or lawyer. And university can provide great opportunities to learn about different subjects, meet new people, and prepare for the working world. It's not that I don't see the value in higher education. I just don't think it's the one and only path to success and happiness. There are plenty of incredibly successful people who never went to university, like famous business owners, writers, actors, athletes, and more. Maybe I could learn a trade skill like plumbing, electrical work, or hairstyling. Or I could start my own small business doing something creative that I love. Or I could get training in a field like computer programming or web design. The possibilities are endless when you think about it!Another factor is how much university costs these days. Many of my friends' parents are still paying off huge loans for their university education, even years later! That seems really stressful. If I went to university and then ended up in a career I didn't like, wouldn't that be a massive waste of time and money?I'd hate to be stuck paying back loans for an education that didn't really benefit me in the end. Now, you might be thinking "But Jamie, don't you want to make your parents proud and become a success in their eyes?" And sure, my parents would probably love it if I went to a big fancy university. But I don't think they'd be disappointed if I carved my own path instead, as long as I worked hard and did something that made me happy and allowed me to support myself. At the end of the day, it's my life and my choice what I do with it.So in conclusion, while I do see the value of university for certain career paths, I don't think it's a requirement or guarantee for success and life satisfaction. To me, true success comes from figuring out your passions, working hard, and leading a life filled with things that make you happy and fulfilled. Getting an education is great, but it doesn't have to come through the traditional university route for everyone. I'm going to keep an open mind, work hard in school, and then decide what the best path is for me when I'm older. Those are just my thoughts as a 10-year-old kid for now. Maybe I'll feel differently in a few years! Either way, I'm excited to figure out what my version of "success" looks like.篇5Is Getting a University Education a Guaranteed Path to Success?Hi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. My teacher Mrs. Johnson asked us to write an essay about whether going to university means you'll be successful in life. It's a really grown-up topic but I'll give it my best shot!First of all, what even is success? To me, being successful means being happy, having friends and family who love you, and getting to do things you enjoy. Maybe it also means having a good job that pays well so you can afford fun things like toys, video games, and trips to Disneyland. But I don't think just having a lot of money or being really famous automatically makes you successful. My parents always say that education is super important if I want to achieve my dreams. They tell me I need to study hard, get good grades, and go to university after high school. According to them, having a university degree will help me get a better job and lead a better life. A lot of grown-ups seem to think the same way.But then I look at some of the most successful people in the world who dropped out of university or never even went at all! The guy who started Microsoft, Bill Gates, left university without finishing. The famous TV host Oprah Winfrey didn't graduate either. And Steve Jobs, who created Apple, dropped out after just one semester. Clearly, they were all able to become hugely successful without a university education. On the other hand, I know plenty of adults with university degrees who still struggle to find good jobs or seem pretty unhappy with their lives. My uncle Jim has a master's degree but works at a boring office doing taxes all day. He complains about being stuck in traffic and having no free time. That doesn't sound very successful to me!So I'm just not sure if going to university guarantees you'll turn out to be successful or not. It probably depends on the person, their skills, their interests, how hard they work, and just plain luck sometimes.Maybe the most important thing is to figure out what you're really passionate about. If you love something like art, music, engineering or computer programming, a university education can definitely give you advanced training in those fields. Theprojects, internships and connections you get in university could lead to amazing job opportunities later on.But what if your biggest dream is to be a famous YouTuber, Instagrammer or video game streamer? You probably don't need a university degree for that! You just need creative ideas, video editing skills, and a huge online following. As long as you work really hard to produce awesome content, you can become a superstar without ever stepping foot on a university campus. There are also lots of other careers that don't necessarily require a university education if you get the right job training or hands-on experience. You can open your own business, become a tradesperson like a plumber or electrician, or get hired as a manager, salesperson, or customer service rep at a store or company. Heck, maybe I'll become a professional athlete or even an astronaut someday without needing to go to university! In conclusion, while getting a university education can definitely helpopen doors and increase your chances of success for certain careers, I don't think it guarantees success for everyone. There are countless stories of university dropouts and people without degrees achieving incredible things. Just like anything else in life, going to university alone isn't enough - you also need to work super hard, discover your talents, chase yourpassions, and refuse to give up on your biggest dreams no matter what!I hope Mrs. Johnson likes my essay. Writing about this grown-up topic has really made me think about what true success means and what I want for my own future. I'm just going to keep working hard in school, having fun, and believing that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. Who knows, maybe I'll be the next Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey or Steve Jobs someday!。

对成功的认识大学英语作文

对成功的认识大学英语作文Success is a concept that is often discussed and pursued in various aspects of life. In the context of university education, the understanding of success can be multifaceted and may vary from person to person. Some may define success in terms of academic achievements, while others may view success as personal growth and development. In this essay, I will explore the different perspectives on success in university education and discuss the significance of understanding success in this context. From an academic standpoint, success in university education is often equated with high grades, academic accolades, and recognition for scholarly achievements. Many students and educators measure success by the ability to excel in examinations, produce high-quality research, and demonstrate a deep understanding of the subject matter. This perspective on success emphasizes the importance of academic rigor and intellectual prowess, and it motivates students to strive for excellence in their studies. However, it is essential to recognize that academic success is just one aspect of a holistic university experience. In addition to academic success, personal growth and development are equally important in university education. Success in this context can be understood as the ability to adapt to new challenges, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a sense of independence and self-reliance. University provides a unique opportunity for students to explore their interests, engage in extracurricular activities, and interact with peers from diverse backgrounds. These experiences contribute to personal growth and play a significant role in shaping anindividual's character and values. Therefore, success in university education should not be limited to academic achievements but should also encompass personal development and self-discovery. Furthermore, success in university education can also be measured by the impact and contribution that students make to their communities and society at large. Engaging in volunteer work, participating in community service projects, and advocating for important causes are all meaningful ways in which students can achieve success beyond the confines of the classroom. By actively participating in social and civic activities, students can develop a sense of social responsibility and empathy, which are essential qualities for success in the real world. Therefore, success in university education should alsobe evaluated based on the positive influence that students have on their surroundings and their commitment to making a difference in the world. It is important to acknowledge that the understanding of success in university education is not fixed or universal. Different individuals may have distinct priorities and aspirations, and their definitions of success may vary accordingly. For some students, success may mean securing a lucrative job after graduation, while for others, it may involve pursuing further studies or embarking on entrepreneurial ventures. It is crucial for students to reflect on their own values and goals and to define success in a way that is personally meaningful to them. By doing so, they can align their efforts and actions with their own vision of success, rather than conforming to external expectations or societal norms. In conclusion, success in university education encompasses a broad spectrum of achievements and experiences, including academic accomplishments, personal growth, and societal contributions. It is essential for students to recognize the multifaceted nature of success and to define it in a way that resonates with their own values and aspirations. By embracing a holistic understanding of success, students can make the most of their university education and emerge as well-rounded individuals who are prepared to make a positive impact on the world.。

【参考范文】There are those who opine that individuals can never achieve success without a tertiary qualification, while others disagree, insisting that this is not applicable anymore in modern society. This essay will initially analyse the two ideas, before a presentation of my perspective, which is that attending university is not the most effective approach that can assist people to live a successful life and there are alternatives playing an important role.It is justified for some to favour the larger contribution higher education makes to a person’s success in life. The primary reason is that a university degree is the prerequisite for good employment and promotion. Nowadays, companies, be they well-known ones or start-ups, are inclined to recruit highly educated employees as they have acquired advanced knowledge and unique skill sets in their specialised fields and are considered to have the ability to add value to a corporation. If they stand out among their colleagues, they are very likely to be promoted even to management positions and well remunerated. However, it is also true that receiving a university education is dispensable regarding helping people succeed. This is mainly because other ways are now available. The government is supporting the growth of new companies financially and thus individuals without a degree can become entrepreneurs and make money through running their own business. Creating vlogs is another option, and it is frequently noticed that many vloggers have earned fame and fortune. Also, many blue-collar workers such as plumbers in Australia can live a more affluent life than employees in the office, despite not being educated in university. In conclusion, I believe that both sides of the argument are reasonable. On balance, my firm opinion is that going to university is no longer the best method that people can rely on to become successful in life; after all, they can achieve this goal via many other different ways.。

University Education and Success
It is obvious that we may achieve great success through university education which helps us acquire relevant professional knowledge and necessary skills especially in highly-specialized areas such as in teaching, law, engineering, medicine and so on. The ones who have received formal university education usually gain an upper hand when building their own career compared to those who haven’t. A lot of famous persons whom we are familiar with in our daily life have proved this to us like Bill Gates, Yu Ming Hong and so on.
In our opinions, we perhaps feel no amazement at them for their success mentioned above, but for those without high education, it will be more difficult for them to make it. As a matter of fact, however, it’s not always the truth that only when a person attains a university degree, can he becomes a wealthy and attractive movie star, sports star or business person. In these special fields, good performance seems to have much to do with his talent endowed, his special sense of performing skills or doing business .On top of these, diligence, or even some opportunities they encountered are also the same significant factors to one’s success. A good case in point is Li Jiacheng , a Hong Kong billionaire, someone who has never accepted any formal education but finally succeeds. It can’t be denied that there do exist such examples in every country.
Meanwhile, the so-called university education does not necessarily ensure a person to keep harmonious or successful relationships with his family and friends, for there’s no absolute correlation between a high degree and happiness. These emotional or spiritual reactions depend on one’s optimistic attitudes towards life or a good state of mind rather than a high degree.。
