there be句型的基本用法:表示“某地有某人(或某物)”。

there be的基本句型为“There be+代词或名词(短语)+地点状语”。

这里there是引导词,没有词义,be是谓语动词,be后面的代词或名词(短语)是主语。

There are two trees in front of the house.房子前面有两棵树。

有时候为了强调,可以将地点状语放在句首,如:Behind the house there is a big tree.房子后面有一棵大树。

2.There be结构中的主谓一致。

(1)当动词be后所接的名词是单数可数名词或不可数名词时,be应该取单数is;当其后所接的名词是复数可数名词时,be用复数are。
