AAustralians really know how to have a good time. Any type of hobby that you can think of can be found in Australia. The following are four top Australian pastimes.FishingFishing is probably one of the most popular free-time activities in Australia and many people love spending their free time waiting at the end of a rod for a fish to bite on their line. There is free public access to almost all beaches, canals and coasts, which means there are plenty of great places to fish.SurfingAnother popular pastime of the Australians is surfing. Australia has a lot of beautiful surf spots, especially in Queensland. Queensland has some of the best surf beaches in the country such as Noosa Heads,Stradbroke Island, and Burleigh Heads, with the Gold Coast being the best known.BoatingWhat else does an Australian do for fun on the weekend? They might go for a ride on their boat!Plenty of Australians live on the coast and are boat owners. Boat owners might take their craft out to go fishing,or they might just want to sail around the waters slowly.BarbecuesAustralians will also typically host barbecues with their friends and family. They really know how to barbecue. The standard of meat that is cooked and the quality of the cooking is second to none. With New Zealand being so close, the lamb is fresh and absolutely remarkable. But the lamb is not all that is cooked. Any one barbecue in Australia can expect upwards of 7 types of meat, from shrimps (?r)to kangaroos.21. Which of the following surf spots is the most famous in Queensland?A. Noosa Heads.B. the Gold Coast.C. Burleigh Heads.D. Stradbroke Island.22. What can we infer from the last paragraph?A. Tourists can hire boats to go for a ride.B. Tourists prefer fishing to other pastimes.C. The lamb is imported from New Zealand.D. People in New Zealand have better cooking skills.23. What are most of the four top Australian pastimes related to?A. Water.B. Sightseeing.C. Food.D. Deserts.BIt’s a rainy, cold winter afternoon. The boys are playing in their rooms,so it’s the perfect time to do some baking, just enjoying the peaceful moment as I knead(揉)bread dough(生面团). Suddenly, there is the sound of shouting, tears, a door slam, followed one of them calling,“Mom!He hurt me!”and footsteps running up the stairs. I sigh. My younger son is standing in front of me in tears. I go to hug him as my elder son comes up too, ready to defend his position. All hope of some quiet time has disappeared, but I just don’t feel like playing judge today.“So,who wants to help me bake some bread?”I ask brightly, ignoring their angry looks at not being able to tell me their tales of bitterness. No takers.“Bread is boring,”Tristan finally admits.“Okay, what would you like to make?”I ask.“Chocolate!”Sawyer yells, breaking free of my embrace.“Chocolate chip cookies!”Tristan agrees happily. As I watch Sawyer practice breaking eggs and Tristan reading on his own and patiently instructing his brother on how to measure brown sugar and see their excitement as they use the mixer to grind oats,I know there’s nothing else I’d rather be doing. The kitchen is a disaster. There is egg juice on the counter, flour on the floor, and a mountain of dishes to clean up. But peering through the mess are two happy faces―covered in chocolate,of course, but, smiling ear to ear---and the mess, and their previous fight,is forgotten. As we close the curtains,we sit together on the sofa, and dig into the big plate of cookies, fresh from the oven, baked with love and more than a dash of silliness.24. Why did the writer sigh?A. Her two sons fought again.B. She couldn’t do any baking.C. She had to play with naughty sons.D. Rain ruined a good winter afternoon.25. Why do the writer’s two sons look angry?A. They have to do some houseworkB. They can’t play referee todayC. They have no chance to complainD. They consider themselves treated unfairly26. While baking chocolate, the two boys ______.A. asked the writer to go for a restB. got along well with each otherC. did everything as the writer askedD. planned everything carefully in advance27. Which of the following can be the best title for the text?A. Everything Is a DisasterB. Baking Is TerribleC. Sons Can CookD. Chocolate Cookies End a FightCWhat is the most common cause for people in the UK to ask for leave due to illness? The answer is not the common cold or flu,but back pain. Back pain affects one in three British adults, costs the country over 5 billion pounds every year and is very difficult to treat. But now Britain's National Health Service(NHS)will be offering a new solution:acupuncture. The ancient Chinese needle treatment has been around in the UK for many years, but this is the first time it has been officially approved by the NHS. Traditionally, doctorsin the UK have advised back pain sufferers to stay active,do stretching exercises and take painkillers when necessary. In more serious cases some people are given X-ray treatment or injections with medicines. However, there is evidence that acupuncture may be more effective than expensive X-rays or injections,so patients who have been suffering for over six weeks should be given a choice. As an alternative to acupuncture, patients will be able to choose either a course of spinal manipulation(脊柱推拿),or a series of special exercise sessions. In the UK,acupuncture is regarded as an aiding treatment, which means medical procedure hasn’t experienced serious experiments by which scientists prove some treatments work. While many experts have welcomed the policy to make acupuncture available on the NHS,some are still skeptical about its effectiveness.Research from the US earlier this month found that similar acupuncture using toothpicks(牙签)which do not stick into the skin could be as good as using real needles. So while some are yet to be convinced, back pain sufferers will be hoping that acupuncture helps get them feeling healthy again.28. According to the passage, which is the best way to treat back pain?A. To stay active.B. To be acupunctured.C. To do stretching exercisesD. To take X-ray treatment or injections.29. Why are some people still doubtful about the effectiveness of acupuncture?A. Because they have other choices.B. Because acupuncture is just an aiding treatment.C. Because using toothpicks is as good as using real needles.D. Because acupuncture hasn’t been tested by scientists strictly.30. What does the author want to prove in the last paragraph?A. Acupuncture can be an effective treatment for back pain.B. Toothpicks is a useful tool for acupuncture.C. Needles are no better than toothpicks.D. Toothpicks will take place of needles in the future.31. What does the passage mainly talk about?A. The magic needles.B. Acupuncture in the UK.C. The ways to treat back pain.D. The reasons for people to ask for leave.DYoung children often“read”picture books. They’re attracted by the colorful scenery and the realistic characters that contribute to fascinating plots.Unfortunately, some children can’t use these resources, even if they do know how to read. Take three-year old Elodie Bateson, for example. Elodie was born with under-developed eyes and has retinal detachments(?网膜脱落),making her visually impaired. It is because of people like Elodie that Tom Yeh,head of the Tactile Picture Books Project, has started printing 3D books,so they can feel the illustrations in picture books. The first book Tom Yeh printed was Goodnight Moon,a popular children’s book about a rabbit going to sleep and wishing good night to his surroundings. In the 3D version of this book, children can feel each thing that the rabbit says good night to,whether it is a cow jumping over the moon,a balloon,or a dollhouse.Generally, when children grow older, they read by using Braille,a language that was invented by Louis Braille in 1824. It uses different patterns of raised dots representing differentletters. Readers can then feel the dots and mentally translate the patterns they feel into words. The only problem is that many blind children do not start learning Braille until they are about six years old.Another reason why 3D printed books are such a valuable resource is that children don’t have to know how to read to understand them. However, without these, visually impaired kids are losing six developmental years vital to their growth since they can’t take advantage of picture books. When 3D picture books are printed, plastic is layered(分层放置)repeatedly over a single shape:the shape of the illustration. These raised pictures created through layered plastic serve as substitutes for the Braille letters that little children have no knowledge of.32. What does the underlined word“impaired”in paragraph2 mean?A. Unmatched.B. Disappeared.C. Defeated.D. Damaged.33. What can we know about Braille from Paragraph 5?A. The blind at any age can read by using Braille.B. Most people can translate Braille into words.C. Blind kids begin learning Braille at about six years old.D. Braille uses similar patterns of raised dots to stand for different letters.34. We can know that the illustrations in 3D books are raised ______.A. dotsB. picturesC. lettersD. plastic35. What is the aim of the Tactile Picture Books Project?A. To teach the blind children Braille.B. To encourage kids to read books.C. To cure visually impaired children.D. To help the blind children read picture books.

AWhy should I teach my children history? That sounds like a st upid question to even ask. But, as I hear different home schoo ling teachers discuss history, I get the idea that there may be different reasons for teaching history. Let me briefly explain th e three good reasons for studying history and two bad reason s for studying history. The major reason I see for studying history is that we can le arn from the past. I am convinced that the world would be a m uch better place if more people understood the successes an d failures of the past and the things that made these successe s and failures. However, as the unfortunately true statement g oes "the one thing we seem to learn from history is that we do n't seem to learn from history." Perhaps at least in teaching hi story, to my children I can do a small part in changing this. The second major reason for studying history is that it is har d to understand the current political climate in the absence of an understanding of its historical context. We can not even un derstand why we are and where we are without history, much less (更不必说) try to figure out where we are going or how we should get where we want to be.I teach my children history, for one more reason. I purchase d a set of historical audio (录音机) tapes for our children. My seven-year-old son listened to them over and over. It was my hope that h e would become inspired by the accomplishments of people li ke the Wright brothers to accomplish things by himself. I think that it is good that we celebrate the accomplishments of peopl e like Martin Luther King Jr. if, in doing so, young people are c alled on to stand for the principles that he stood for and acco mplish what he accomplished. I also think that by studying pe ople like Adolph Hitler, people can learn to stand against the t hings that he stood for.1. In Paragraph 3, the author shows that history is useful bec ause _______________.A. it makes the current political situation go smoothlyB. it helps us realize the importance of historical eventsC. it helps us understand why things are the way they areD. it helps people accept the present situation where they liv e2. Some historical figures(人物) are mentioned in the last paragraph to show ____________ __.A. people can be inspired to do good, while also learning to f ight against evilB. people may also learn from bad historical figuresC. more celebrations should be held to honor their achievem entsD. today’s people can also achieve what they achieved3. What would be talked about in the following paragraph?A. How to teach history effectively.B. Some negative re asons for studying history.C. How to get more people to study history.D. Some bad hi storical figures.4. The main purpose of this passage is to ____________.A. inspire the parents to teach their children historyB. show the importance of history in politicsC. explain the reasons why children study historyD. introduce the writer's own way of teaching history5. Which of the following is not the reason for studying history according to the author?A. One can learn from history in order not to make the same mistake.B. It can help us to understand the current political climate.C. Without history, one can be nothing but a fool in every asp ect.D. One can know the principle of doing something and not doi ng something.BWith all the wars, fighting and sadness in the world today, it's not only necessary, but also essential to have a good sense o f humor just to help us get through each and every day of our lives. Putting a smile on someone's face when you know they are feeling down in the dumps ( 处于沮丧中), as the saying goes, makes me feel good and warms my h eart. How would you feel if you could not joke around with your w ife, husband, child, co-worker, neighbor, close friend, or even just someone that you are standing in line with at your corner store? I am always saying things that make others smile or laugh, even if I don't kno w the person I'm joking around with. My Grandma always fou nd humor in everything she did, even if it was the hardest job anyone could imagine. This not only relieves stress in any situ ation, but also is common courtesy (礼貌) to speak to others that are around you.I know of a few people that don’t have a funny bone in their bodies, as they say. Everyone around them could be rolling o n the floor after hearing a great joke and they would sit there without the slightest smile on their face. They don't get the jok e that makes others laugh. I am busting a gut while they just s it there, looking at me as if I were from outer space. How can people not get a really funny joke?Laughing is essential to keep your stress levels under contr ol. Without humor we would find ourselves with a lot of psych ological problems, or on a lot of medications to keep us from going crazy. There is too much sadness in this present world. It drives people crazy. We all need to find a way to bypass the sadness and bring a little light into our lives. So, I believe our best medicine is to get together and tell some jokes and have some fun laughing together.6. According to the author, humor is useful in the aspect that _ ___________.A. it makes people more confidentB. it can pick up pe ople’s spiritsC. it can help rid the cruelty in the worldD. it can help pe ople get on well with others[Z-X-X-K[.7. The phrase “busting a gut" in the third paragraph can be re placed by __________.A. explaining carefullyB. speaking loudC. keeping silentD. laughing hard8. In writing the passage, the author mainly intends to _______ ___.A. talk about his own understanding of humorB. encourage people to be humorous in daily lifeC. introduce a practical way to get through daily lifeD. convince people of the power of being optimistic about lif e9. What is the author’s attitude towards the present world?A. Positive.B. Critical.C. Satisfied.D. Indifferent.10. The author answers the question in the second paragraph with ___________.A. facts and descriptionsB. evidence and argumentC. examples and conclusionD. stories and persuasion CHuman beings have used tools for a very long time. In some p arts of the world you can still find tools that people used more than two million years ago. They made these tools by hitting o ne stone against another. In this way, they broke off pieces fr om one of the stones. These chips of stone were usually shar p on one side. People used them for cutting meat and skin fro m dead animals, and also for making other tools out of wood. Human beings needed to use tools because they did not have sharp teeth like other meat eating animals, such as lions and tigers. Tools helped people to get food more easily.Working with tools also helped to develop human intelligenc e. The human brain grew bigger, and human beings began to invent more and more tools and machines. The stone chip wa s one of the first tools that people used, and perhaps it is the most important. Some scientists say that it was the key to suc cess of mankind.Since 1960 a new kind of tool has appeared. This is the silico n chip -- a little chip of silicon crystal. It is smaller than a finger nail, b ut it can store more than a million "bits" of information. It is an electronic brain. Every year these chips get cleverer, but theirsize gets smaller, and their cost gets less. They are used in w atches, calculators and intelligent machines that we can use i n many ways. In the future we will not need to work with tools in the old way. Machines will do everything for us. They will e ven talk and play games with us. People will have plenty of sp are time. But what will they do with it?Human beings used stone chips for more than two million ye ars, but human life changed very little in that time. We have u sed silicon chips for only a few years, but life is changing fast er every day. What will life be like twenty years from now? Wh at will the world be like two million years from now?11. From paragraph 1, we can know__________.A. why early human beings cut skin from dead animalsB. how early human beings discovered the toolsC. what early human beings used the tools forD. what food early human beings stored12. The stone chip is thought to be the most important tool be cause it ______.A. was very important to the development of mankindB. led to the invention of machines in the early timeC. developed cooking abilities of mankindD. was one of the first tools of mankind13. The silicon chip is mentioned in the passage toA. show the changes of toolsB. introduce a new kind of t oolC. give an example of using toolsD. compare the effects of two kinds of tools14. At the end of the passage the author seems to suggest th at life in future is ______.A. Out of orderB. Less colorfulC. hard to predictD. full of meanings15. Which of the following is not true about the silicon chipA. It has appeared since 1960.B. It is an electronic brain and can store a lot of information.C. It is a chip of silicon crystal and is very small.D. It becomes cleverer and more expensive every year.第二节七选五(共5小题;每小题2分,共10分)根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。

ATo achieve further education, international students must take a standardized test of English. Three popular tests are TOEFL, TOEIC, and IELTS.Here are several introductions for a student applying to a school to learn which test the program requires. The TOEIC tests workplace communicationThe TOEIC test started in the 1970s. The TOEIC is based on English used in the workplace. But the test does not require knowledge of special business words. The questions come from real situations like attending a company meeting.ETS says that 14,000 organizations in 150 countries use the TOEIC.The TOEFL tests English used in the classroomThere are several versions of the TOEFL.Students take the Internet-based TOEFL, or TOEFL IBT, on a computer. Many U.S. universities require the TOEFL IBT for international student admissions.Another TOEFL is the paper-based TOEFL, or TOEFL ITP. It is part of ETS’s institutional testingprogram. TOEFL ITP is used within institutions for the purpose of placement or to evaluate progress of students. It is notaccepted for entrance to universities. For young English learners, there are two new TOEFL tests. The TOEFL Junior Test is for youngpeople between 11 and 15 years old. And the TOEFL Primary Test is for those over the age of eight.IELTS tests academic and general language skillsThe IELTS has two forms. The Listening and Speaking sections are the same for both forms. In the Reading and Writing sections, however, there are two different tests. The Academic IELTS uses topics and materials covered in undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs. The General IELTS uses topics and material from everyday books, newspapers and magazines.1. Which kind of TOEFL is used within institutions for the purpose of placement or to evaluate progress of students?A. TOEFL IBT.B. TOEFL ITP.C. TOEFL Junior Test.D. TOEFL Primary Test.2. According to the passage, which description is Not right?A. The TOEIC test includes questions coming from real situations like attending a company meeting.B. Many U.S. universities require the TOEFL IBT for international student admissions.C. The Academic IELTS uses topics and materials covered in undergraduate, graduate, or professional programs.D. The Listening and Writing sections are the same for The Academic IELTS and The General IELTS.3. The writer wrote the article mainly to ___________.A. make an introduction about three popular testsB. place an advertisement for three popular testsC. give a business talk about three popular testsD. give a lesson on three popular testsBNASA on Thursday announced the discovery of Kepler-452b, the most Earth-like planet ever found.Located 1,400 light-years from our planet, NASA called it “Earth 2.0”, because it’s the first planet discovered in the habitable zone of a G star similar to our sun.“We can think of Kepler-452b as an older, bigger cousin to Earth, providing an opportunity to understand and reflect upon Ear th’s evolving environment,” said Jon Jenkins, the Kepler data analysis lead at NASA's Ames Research Center. The planet is 5 percent farther away from its star than Earth is to the sun, making for a slightly longer year of 385 days, but gets similar light because its sun is 20 percent brighter than our own.“The sunshine from this star would feel very similar to the sunshine from our star,” Jenkins told reporters.NASA believes the planet has a mass about five ti mes more massive than Earth’s, with a rocky surface below a thicker atmosphere than our own. Gravity would be about twice as strong on Kepler-452b as it is on Earth, NASA said. The planet is located in the Kepler-452 system in the constellation Cygnus (天鹅座). Its sun has the same surface temperature as our own, but has a diameter that is 10 percent larger. While NASA scientists have no idea if Kepler-452b’s atmosphere is conducive to life, they do know that there has been plenty of time for organisms to develop.“It’s awe-inspiring to consider this planet spent 6 billion years in the habitable zone of its star, which is longer the age of the Earth,” Jenkins said. “That is considerable time and opportunity for life to a rise somewhere on its surface or oceans if all the necessary conditions for life exist on this planet.”4. The reason why NASA called Kepler-452b “Earth 2.0” is that ___________.A. it is 5 percent farther away from its star than Earth is to the sunB. it has a mass about five times more massive than Earth’sC. it’s the first planet discovered in the habitable zone of a G star similar to our sunD. it is longer the age of the Earth5. According to the passage, we know that ____________.A. Kepler-452b is located in the constellation CygnusB. Kepler-452b’s atmosphere is conducive to lifeC. gravity would be about twice as strong on Earth as it is on Kepler-452bD. the sunshine from Kepler-452b would feel very different from the sunshine from earth6. The underlined part “habitable zone” in the last paragraph refers to ___________.A. a large area which is different from othersB. a small area which is the same as othersC. a large area which is good enough for people to live inD. a small area which is hard for people to live in7. What type of writing is the text? It’s ____________.A. an exhibition guide.B. an art show review.C. a science fictionD. a news reportCAre you trying to learn a new language in a foreign land? You might be better off if you stopped looking at that picture of your family and friends.New research from Columbia University found that prompting someone who is learning a new language with images and reminders of their own culture could temporarily ruin everything that the brain was trying to build. When native Chinese students were asked to talk with a Caucasian avatar (白种人的虚拟头像) and a Chinese avatar, their English skills were so different. Simply exposing students to a Chinese person affected their ability to speak English. Subjects who talked with the Chinese version felt more comfortable in their speech, but they produced 11% fewer words per minute. They actually became less fluent speakers. To make sure it wasn't just the avatar, researchers also showed people random images of China while the participants told a story. When pictures of their homeland appeared, fluency dropped 16% and volunteers were 85% more likely to use a literal translation, for example, calling pistachios “happy nuts”, because that's literally what the Chinese word for pistachio means. When the students were shown pictures of fish with one swimming ahead of the others, their culture would change how they look at the photo. With Chinese prompts (提示), like photos of the Great Wall or Chinese Dragon, etc. they saw more students thinking that the fish was being chased, while an American prompt, like pictures of Marilyn Monroe or Superman, saw those students believing that it was a leader fish. AMy Favourite Travel BooksThe Old Patagonian Express by Paul TherouxChoosing my favorite Paul Theroux book is like picking my fav orite place in the world: It’s impossible to settle on just one. B ut The Old Patagonian Express, which is about a train journey Theroux made from Boston, USA to southern Argentina, is ri ght up there at the top of my list. Theroux has a wicked sense of humor. He brings so much wisdom and experience to his tr avels.Walden by Henry David ThoreauIf he were alive today, Thoreau would probably frown if he he ard someone refer to Walden as a travel book. But I regard itas a travel-writing masterpiece. “I went into the woods,” he writes, “becau se I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and n ot, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”That’s th e same spirit of discovery that defines so many great contemp orary travel records. The Dharma Bums by Jack KerouacLike so many people, I fell in love with Kerouac’s novels in my late teens and early 20s. On the Road gets all the press, but I always love The Dharma Bums. Kerouac beautifully captures the romance of California trains, Berkeley, and backpacking i n the Sierras. It’s hard to read this book without wanting to lea ve for the mountains to brainstorm bad haikus on the trail and cook canned macaroni and cheese over a crackling campfire. Confucius Lives Next Door by T.R. ReidThis is sort of A Year in Provence in Japan, only the cross-cultural differences are much greater. Jack KerouacBA teacher from Relax Kids in Tamworth, UK, used two apples to show her students the damaging, and often unseen, consequences of bullying(欺凌). And her post about the powerful lesson has gone viral.Rosie Dutton explained that during one of her classes she intr oduced the children to two red apples. What the kids didn't kn ow was that before the lesson, Dutton had repeatedly droppe d one of the apples on the floor. And yet, on the outside at lea st, both apples looked perfect. "I picked up the apple I'd dropp ed on the floor and started to tell the children how I disliked thi s apple, and that I thought it was disgusting, it was a horrible colour and the stem was just too short," Dutton wrote. She then encouraged the students to do the same. Some of t he children looked at her like she was “crazy”, but the student s passed the apple around the circle, calling it names.Continuing the exercise, the teacher then passed the second apple around the circle. This apple, however, was showered with comments like: “Your skin is beautiful," and "what a beau tiful colour you are."Dutton then showed the students both apples once again, hig hlighting that "there was no change, both apples still looked the same."That is, until she cut them open. "The apple we'd said unkind words to was bruised and all mushy(糊状的) inside," she said. There was, she said, an immediate "light bulb" moment for he r students. "They really got it. What we saw inside that apple, the bruises, the mush and the broken bits is what is happenin g inside every one of us when someone mistreats us with thei r words or actions."Dutton explained how important it is to teach children to stand up for one another, and to stop any form of bullying.“Let’s create a generation of kind caring children,” the teacher wrote. “The tongue has no bones, but is strong enough to bre ak a heart. So be careful with your words.”24.What had the teacher done to the first apple before the les son?A. She had introduced it to the kidsB. She had damaged it purposelyC. She had made it look perfectD. To draw the kids’ attentionB. To explain her personal preferencesC. To make a comparison between themD. To help the kids understand the results of bullyingCSometimes you’ll hear people say that you can’t love others u ntil you love yourself. Sometimes you’ll hear people say that y ou can’t expect someone else to love you until you love yourself. Either way, you’ve got to love yourself first and this can be tricky. Sure we all know that we’re the apple of our parents’ e yes, and that our Grandmas think we’re great talents and our Uncle Roberts think that we will go to the Olympics. but somet imes it’s a lot harder to think such nice thoughts about ourselv es. If you find that believing in yourself is a challenge. it is tim e you build a positive self-image and learn to love yourself.Self-image is your own mind’s picture of yourself. This image inclu des the way you look, the way you act, the way you talk and t he way you think. Interestingly, our self-images are often quite different from the images others hold a bout us. Unfortunately, most of these images are more negati ve than they should be. Thus changing the way you think abo ut yourself is the key to changing your self-image and your whole world. The best way to defeat a passive self-image is to step back and decide to stress your successes. T hat is, make a list if you need to, but write down all of the grea t things you do every day. Don’t allow doubts to occur in it.It might be that you are experiencing a negative self-image because you can’t move past one flaw or weakness th at you see about yourself. Well, roll up your sleeves and make a change of it as your primary task. If you think you’re silly b ecause you aren’t good at math, find a tutor. If you think you’r e weak because you can’t run a mile, get to the track and pra ctice. If you think you’re dull because you don’t wear the latest trends, buy a few new clothes. But remember, just because y ou think it doesn’t mean it’s true. The best way to get rid of a negative serf-image is to realize that your image is far from objective, and t o actively convince yourself of your positive qualities. Changin g the way you think and working on those you need to improv e will go a long way towards promoting a positive self-image. When you can pat yourself on the back, you’ll know yo u’re well on your way. Good luck!28.You need to build a positive self-image when you .A. dare to challenge yourselfB. feel it hard to change yourselfC. are unconfident about yourselfD. have a high opinion of yourself29.According to the passage, our serf-images .A. have positive effectsB. are probably untrueC. are often changeableD. have different functions30.How should you change your serf-image according to the passage?A. It’ll soon be the time for us to depart, though unwillingly. But it is no t the end. It just means that we’re going to begin a new journey. Finally, on behalf of all the graduates present here, let me extend our sincere wishes for our mother school and respectable teachers.
Thank you!。
