Hello! My name’s Raul. I t’s my 8th birthday

today. I’m celebrating it with my family at home.

my little brother. He’s crying because he’s

hungry. My friends Sara is also looking at him.

My mother is holding the birthday cake. It looks

delicious! My cousins, Mary and Peter, are

singing Happy Birthday to me but I’m not

listening to them. Mum is smiling at them and

my dad’s clapping. Paul, my best friend, is bursting a balloon. He’s making a lot of noise so our dog Pimo is barking loudly.

My sister Martha isn’t here because she’s working in her music shop. She’s coming home late this evening. We are waiting for her to eat my birthday cake.

My grandparents aren’t coming to my party because they are visiting my uncle Tom in Paris. They are phoning me tonight to wish me a happy birthday.

I’m enjoying my birthday party very much!
