Module 9 Unit 1 Do you want to visit the UN building?教学设计一、教材分析本课属于“人与社会”主题范畴中“历史、社会与文化”这一主题群,涉及子主题“中外名胜古迹的相关知识和游览体验”。
课文主要讲述Simon的爸爸带着Simon和Daming参观联合国大厦。
Daming发现联合国大厦非常雄伟,大厦前飘扬着各会员国的国旗,其中也包括中国。
Simon的爸爸告诉他们,联合国现在有193个会员国。
进入大厦以后,Simon带Daming去看了中国送给联合国的礼物——成昆铁路的象牙雕塑,上面还有一列火车。

通过研读教材,分析单元主题,单元核心语言和图片语境,我把本单元的主题确定为Places,U1讲的是the UN building, U2讲的是Chinese places,共同的语法点是want to, I want to …Do you want to …?知识与技能目标是能够就主要知识结合生活经验进行相互交流,然后增加一些有效的语句提高学生的综合表达能力;情感目标是热爱大好河山,热爱和平,维护和平。
新教材在每个单元中都增加了一个活动一,主要作用在于导入活动二的文本。
我发现这个模块的两个活动一是一个连续的故事,而且讨论的是Chinese places, the Great Wall, the Changjiang River, the Huangshan Mountain, 因此我把U1和U2的活动进行了统整,从中学习新的语法点I want to … Do you want to …?这个学生很好理解,以前也接触过,然后直接过渡到U2的活动二的文本,再来看看Smart一家人想要去中国的哪些地方旅游,这样能一气呵成,话题也清晰明确Travelling in China.这也就是第一课时话题:Chinese places.这应该是一个较大的调整,先学习U2。
第二课时的话题是Travelling in New York,从the UN building谈起,先解决文本内容,然后在此基础上拓展,延伸,仅仅围绕the UN,拓宽学生的视野,当然这是在学生做好充分地预学的基础上的,学生掌握的不仅仅是书本上的知识,还有自主学习和合作学习的能力,还有人文素养的提升。

Module 9 Unit 1 A visit to the UN一、学情分析英语课程要面向全体学生,注重素质教育,特别强调要关注每个学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信心,使他们在学习过程中发展综合语言运用能力,提高人文素养,增强实践能力,培养创新精神,努力让学生放眼世界,扩大视野,更多地涉猎英语国家的文化背景、历史传统、人文地理等,在学习英语国家的文化的同时,培养学生对中华文化的了解和热爱。
本人担任六年级2班的英语教学,通过几年的学习,六年级的学生们对英语已经有了一定的了解,具备了一定得英语学习能力,掌握了一些日常对话用语和一定量的词汇。
但是仍然有一部分学生对学习英语有一定的困难,两极分化比较严重。
二、教材分析本单元主要围绕D am ing在美国的见闻这一主题,谈论可能要做的事情的话题。
通过本单元的学习,进一步复习巩固一般现在时等以前学习的内容;扩展学习谈论可能要做的事情的话题。
同时,使学生了解联合国的由来,培养学生热爱祖国、热爱和平的高尚品德以及具有远大的理想。
