教材分析本单元分为三个板块：Part A Part B Part C,本单元学习的主题是询问并回答某人是否正在做某事，以及谈论在一些公共场所的行为规范。
通过本单元的学习，同学们能够正确运用和理解现在进行时态以及正确理解和谈论行为规范。
学情分析五年级两个班的学生，虽然已经接触了两年英语，有一定的英语基础，但是两极分化情况较为严重，有的学生甚至连最基本的26个字母的书写都有问题，背单词是软肋。
由于教材难度加大，学生的学习兴趣难以保持，因此要特别注意英语学习兴趣的继续保持，本学期应注重转化后进生，尤其是五一班的特困生相对较多，要好好利用四轮驱动的优势，因材施教，分层教学，保持并提高学生对英语学习的兴趣。

(5)三人小组活动：由三位学生组成一组轮流问答，第一位学生抽一张图片，将图片背面对着其他两位学生，第二位掌生问第三位学生：Is he/she doing morning exercises/sleeping/ jumping/playing with each other?第三位学生看第一位学生所抽的图片，回答：Yes，he/she is doing morning exercises /sleeping/jumping/ playing with each other．2．Look and say(1)教师将Look and say部分的图分别标上序号1～6，然后根据教师描述，学生说出具体是第几幅图。
