call拨打电话,侧重动作,是瞬间动词,所以不用过去进行时。

现将学生的英语学习情况分析如下:八年级的学生性格特点是活泼好动,参与活动的热情会较高。
面对可塑性很强的学生,作为英语教师,我们一定要保护他们对英语学习的热情。
认知特点分析:学生已经学过过去进行时,本单元第一课时的学习也帮助学生对过去进行时有了初步的感知,学生理解上相对容易。
根据学生的心理特点我们一改以往教学生时的教学模式,课上多以表扬为主,注重对学生英语学习兴趣的培养,鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力尝试!让学生们在玩玩、做做、说说、谈谈中学习英语。
但这个年级的学生在学习方法和学习策略上还有待提高,尤其在答题技巧和技能方面还缺少锻炼。
因此本学期在实施英语教学的过程中,我和上学期一样在教授学生新知的同时更重视对学生学习方法和答题技巧的培养。
我一心争取在本学期让学生的学习能力和应试能力在原有的基础上能大幅度提高。
除以上所说的几种情况之外,八年级个别学生还存在顽劣和懒惰倾向,上课爱搞小动作、课下作业完成不及时的坏毛病,学习效率也较差。
针对这种情况我采取趣味教学的模式课上多为学生创设习得语言的环境,尽最大努力吸引学生的注意力以便更有交地激发他们的学习兴趣,而且课后老师经常找机会和他们聊天、交朋友,帮助他们转变厌学思想。
老师针对学生现状,在课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主,注重培养学习英语的兴趣,营造英语氛围,鼓励学生开口说英语、特别是给差生创造机会,让他们尝试成功的喜悦。

一、教学内容分析
(一)教材分析
这节是人教版八年级下册Unit5《What were you doing when the rainstorm came?》单元教学中的第二课时。
这一单元的中心话题是Unforgettable events。
语法现象是Past Progressive Tense。
本单元在这册书中是一个独立的单元。
整个单元的内容是围绕Talk about past events展开的教学活动。
通过本单元的学习,要求学生能够谈论自己过去经历的难忘的事。
并能深入理解在灾害面前要更团结,更友善,更懂得互相帮助。
(二)学情分析
八年级学生在知识方面已经有了一定的基础,基本能从文字资料中获取主要信息,可以在阅读任务的指导下运用已有的阅读策略,能针对问题进行简单的会话,具有团结协作意识,能够在组内互助合作解决问题并报告结果,因此在授课过程中特别注重活动的设置以及小组合作学习的引导,进一步提高他们的阅读水平。
(三)教学环境
在结合电子白板环境下设计课题,使用白板的交互功能帮助学生学习。
二、教学目标
(一)认知目标:
1.学习本课的目标词汇;
2.学习一篇关于美国亚拉巴马州遭风暴袭击后人们互相帮助的故事,进一步体会过去进行时的用法。
(二)能力目标
1.在过去进行时中能正确使用when和while。
2.通过本课的学习,在阅读技巧的训练方面有所提升,通过阅读获取信息,分析文章的写作顺序,及对文章细节的理解。
3.能熟练运用过去进行时复述故事。
(三)情感态度及价值观
通过谈论灾害发生后,人们互相帮助的故事,让学生能深入理解在灾害面前要更团结,更友善,更懂得互相帮助。
并不是灾难本身使人们更团结了,而是在灾难中人与人之间体现的爱、互助、团队精神等等把人们拉的更紧密了。
三、教学重点、难点
(一)教学重点:1.能听、说、读、写本课的四会单词,继续学习过去进行时。
2.学习语篇:Sam经历的难忘的事----一场暴风雨。
(二)教学难点:1.通过对语篇的学习,掌握一定的阅读技巧。
2.通过对语篇的学习,达成本课的情感态度目标。
四、思路理念
《新课标》提出“学生是学习和发展的主体”,在教学中,引导学生自学,教会学生学习是我们的目的,只有这样,才能真正提高学生学习英语和运用英语的能力。
电子白板的功能更有利于实现这一目的。
五、教学方法
(一)自主学习法
要求学生自主参与到教学的各个环节中去,如课前预习,课上积极思考,踊跃发言及到白板上自主答题,课下及时复习巩固等,经过预习,学生能基本了解本课的部分目标词汇。
(二)任务型教学
在本课的任务型语言教学中,我依据课程的总体目标并结合教学内容,创造性地设计贴近学生生活实际的任务活动,吸引和组织他们积极参与,使学生通过观察、思考、讨论、交流和合作等方式,在一种自然模拟的情景中体会语言、掌握语言的应用。
(三)情景教学法
课堂教学以情景交际教学法为主,尽量给学生以足够的听、说、读的机会,联系课文实际,创设情景,引入讨论主题,在交际中学英语,情景的设计注意衔接的自然性,主题的设计强调知识的渐进性。
六、学法指导
《新课标》把“培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立自信心,培养良好学习习惯,和形成有效策略,发展自主学习和合作精神放在首位,依据课改的精神,我从以下几个方法对学生进行学法指导。
(一)学习方法的指导
培养学生观察力,想象力,记忆力以及思维能力。
用生动的课件调动学生的感官进行听说读写的训练。
(二)学习积极性的调动
我在教学过程在创造一种开放的,和谐的,积极互动的语言氛围,把课堂变成有声有色的舞台,让学生在乐中学。
(三)学习能力的培养
通过相关的听说读写,游戏竞赛等手段,培养学生的交际能力,发展他们的思维能力。

本节课在电子白板环境下,以Flash动画、图片以及视频作为辅助手段进行有趣的导入,创设情境处理难点词汇与短语的学习,并且将课文信息以关系图的形式简化理解,打破了传统课堂单调抽象的处理课文的方式,给学生提供更多的四维空间,调动学生都以积极热情的学习态度投入到任务学习之中,不仅自行思考解决问题,而且通过合作互助发散思维。
学习过程由易到难,有基本知识的学
习,阅读技巧的锻炼,情感的培养,对文章结构的分析与练习,在有限的时间内高效主动的学习与操练。
