头脑风暴法(Brainstorming)在高中英语课堂教学中的运用舟山中学忻瑜岑璐摘要:课程改革在不断的深入,中小学英语教材在发生深刻的变化。

新版的英语教材编排中,“热身”(Warming up)和“读前”(Pre-reading)等“任务”(Tasks)都需要采用“头脑风暴法”(Brainstorming)。

Brainstorming可以培养学生的自主学习能力,扩大学生的词汇量、知识面,提高学生听说读写整体语言素质。

但在实施此活动的时候,也要遵循一定的原则。

笔者就此展开一点简短地分析。

关键词:英语新课程标准头脑风暴法自主学习语言综合运用一头脑风暴法(Brainstorming)在高中英语课堂教学中运用的背景1.头脑风暴法(Brainstorming)的含义由美国被誉为“创造学之父”的A. 奥斯本提出的Brainstorming就是通过无拘无束,自由奔放的发散思维进行信息催化,思维共振,互相启发,互相激励,让自己的头脑尽量的运转,不放过任何与该问题有关的答案,并且认为这些想法都有助于问题的解决。

它是训练发散思维的有效方法,被广泛地用于创造性思维活动中。

其目的是集思广益,在一定时间内采用极迅速的联想的作用,大量产生各种可能的思想或解决方法。

其核心是人的创造性想象力。

2.新《全日制普通高级中学英语教科书》为头脑风暴法(Brainstorming)在英语课堂教学中的实施提供了教材的保证随着课程改革的不断深入,中小学英语教材正在发生深刻的变化。

从2003年9月始使用的突出“以学生为中心的主题教学”的新《全日制普通高级中学教科书英语》(必修)是根据《全日制普通高级中学英语教学大纲》和《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程标准(实验稿)》的精神,在1996年中英合编的高中英语的基础上修订而成的。

大纲和课程标准以学生的发展为英语课程的出发点和归宿,提出了一系列新的理念。

人民教育出版社《全日制普通高级中学教师教学用书》在对教材的概述中明确告诉我们:板块二“热身”(Warming up)实际上是一种“头脑风暴”(Brainstorming)的活动,其目的是鼓励学生自由讨论,大胆思考,作用是激活学生已有的相关背景知识,补充必要的、新的背景知识,启发学生对有关话题的思考。

2. Brainstorm在词汇教学中的应用新课程实施以来,对于词汇学习的要求不断提高,对词汇量的要求也不断增加,这也体现了词汇学习的重要性。

而英语单词不可能学过一次就可以永远记住,而是需要不断地重复记忆,重复出现,才可能让学生真正记住一个单词。

曾有专家说学生要记住一个单词至少要见到28次。

也就是说,只有经常让学生接触这个单词学生才能够把它牢牢记住。

在教学实践过程中,我发现运用“头脑风暴”模式教学单词是一个很不错的方法。

因为现在的七年级学生在小学时候都学过英语,已经掌握一些基本的英语单词。

因此在教学七年级英语下册第三单元“What animals do you like?”这个话题时我就问学生“What animals do you know? Can you say them in English?”初一年级的学生特别爱表现,手一个比一个举的高,有的同学一站起来就一大串单词,对他来说,说出的单词就等于复习了一遍,对于其他同学来说也等于通过听的方式复习了一遍那些学过的单词。
