诊断标准
主要标准
包括多发性神经病、脏器肿大、内分 泌异常、M蛋白血症和皮肤改变。满 足以上3条主要标准和至少1条次要标 准即可诊断为POEMS综合征。
次要标准
包括水肿、异常出汗、杵状指(趾) 、肺动脉高压、限制性肺病、血栓性 静脉炎、性功能减退、腹泻、低热、 视乳头水肿、脑脊液蛋白增高等。

脑脊液压力增高,脑脊液蛋白增高者占 97% ,有蛋白细胞分离现象。一般无剧烈 头痛、呕吐。

内外的专家和学者们对自体外周血造血干细胞 移植治疗POEMS综合征进行了研究,并取 得了一定效果。干细胞移植治疗POEMS综 合征的机制还不十分清楚,但是,成功的治疗结 果为造血干细胞移植在神经科的应用开创了一 个新领域,有待于进一步的探讨和研究。

预后
本病能早期被发现并积极进行上述治疗 则有较好效果,确诊较晚再治疗者,其效果 欠佳。5年生存率约为60%,病死者的中位生 存时间为97个月。但据解放军总医院神经科 观察,最早被诊断并得到积极治疗者已痊愈, 至今已12年未见复发。
