high-profile 造句
high-profile 造句1. High - profile people always seem to be in the spotlight. It's like they're the shiny stars in the sky that everyone can't help but look at. For example, when Taylor Swift releases a new album, she's all over the news, on every magazine cover. She's high - profile and everything she does is watched closely.2. You don't want to be high - profile all the time. It can be a real pain in the neck. Imagine being followed by paparazzi everywhere you go. Brad Pitt must have felt that way at the height of his fame. He couldn't even go for a normal walk without someone snapping pictures. That's the price of being high - profile.3. Some high - profile events are just magical. They're like big parties that the whole world is invited to. Take the Oscars, for instance. It's a high - profile event where all the big - name actors and actresses gather. The red carpet is filled with glamorous people, and everyone is excited to see who will win. It's a high - profile extravaganza!4. I don't think I could handle being high - profile. I'm more ofa behind - the - scenes kind of person. High - profile folks are likepeacocks showing off their feathers all the time. Look at Kim Kardashian. She's constantly in the public eye, sharing every aspect of her life. I'd be too shy and self - conscious for that.5. High - profile jobs come with a lot of pressure. It's not all glitz and glamour. You're like a tightrope walker, with everyone watching your every move. A CEO of a big company, like Elon Musk, has a high - profile job. He has to make important decisions, and the whole world is ready to criticize or praise him depending on what he does.6. Why do we care so much about high - profile individuals? Are they really that much more interesting than the rest of us? It's like we're all moths attracted to a bright light. When a high - profile athlete like Cristiano Ronaldo scores a goal, the whole world goes wild. But what about the thousands of other great athletes who don't get that kind of attention?7. High - profile scandals are always the talk of the town. They spread like wildfire. It's as if the public has an insatiable appetite for drama. When Lance Armstrong was caught doping, it was a huge high - profile scandal. His reputation, which was once soshiny, was completely tarnished. People were shocked and disappointed.8. My friend always dreams of being high - profile. She says it would be like living in a fairytale. But I tell her, "Girl, you don't know what you're getting into." High - profile means sacrificing your privacy. Look at Princess Diana. Her high - profile life was filled with so much media intrusion, and in the end, it was a tragic story.9. High - profile companies have to be extra careful with their image. They're like glass houses that everyone can see into. Apple, for example, is a high - profile company. If they make a small mistake, like a battery issue in their iPhones, it becomes big news. They have to constantly maintain their high - profile brand image.10. In this day and age, it's easier than ever to become high - profile. Social media has made stars out of ordinary people. But is it really worth it? It's like trading your peace of mind for a few minutes of fame. There are so many influencers on Instagram who are high - profile. They post pictures of their perfect lives, but who knows what's really going on behind the scenes? Conclusion: High - profile status has its pros and cons. While it can bring fame, fortune, and opportunities, it also comes with a lack of privacy, intense pressure, and public scrutiny. Whether it's a person or a company, being high - profile is a double - edged sword.。

写镜子的英文作文
写镜子的英文作文The mirror is my best friend. It never judges me,always reflects my true self, and never lies to me. When I look into the mirror, I see the good, the bad, and the ugly. It's a reality check that I need every day.I love how the mirror shows me different angles of myself. Sometimes I look at myself from the side, and I see a profile that I never knew I had. Other times, I look at myself straight on, and I see the determination in my eyes. The mirror helps me see myself in a whole new light. The mirror is a time machine. When I look into it, Isee the person I used to be, the person I am now, and the person I want to become. It's a reminder of how much I've grown and how much more I can achieve. The mirror keeps me grounded and motivated.I often talk to myself in the mirror. I give myself pep talks, practice my speeches, and even have deepconversations with my reflection. It's like having a therapist who always listens and never interrupts. The mirror is my sounding board and confidant. The mirror is also a fashion advisor. It helps me decide what to wear, how to style my hair, and what makeup looks best on me. It's like having a personal stylist at my disposal 24/7. I trust the mirror's judgment when it comes to my appearance. The mirror is a reminder of my mortality. It shows me the wrinkles and gray hairs that come with age. It's a bittersweet reflection of the passage of time. But it also reminds me to cherish every moment and embrace the beauty of aging gracefully. In conclusion, the mirror is more than just areflective surface. It's a friend, a mentor, and a reality check. It helps me see myself in a new light, keeps me grounded and motivated, and serves as a fashion advisor and reminder of my mortality. I don't know what I would do without my faithful mirror.。

请欣赏我的照片英语作文标题,Appreciating My Photo: A Personal Reflection。
As the shutter clicked, freezing a moment in time, I captured more than just an image. I captured a fragment of my essence, a glimpse into my soul. Each photograph I take tells a story, a narrative woven with emotions, memories, and experiences. Today, I invite you to delve into theworld of my photography, to explore the depths of my vision and perspective.Photography, for me, is not merely a hobby or a pastime; it is a passion, a form of self-expression that transcends words. Through the lens of my camera, I discover beauty in the mundane, find solace in chaos, and seek meaning in the fleeting moments of life. Every photograph I capture is a testament to my unique perspective, a reflection of my innermost thoughts and feelings. One of my favorite photographs is a portrait taken atsunset, where the warm hues of the sky embrace thesilhouette of a solitary tree. In this image, I see more than just nature's beauty; I see resilience, strength, and the promise of a new beginning. The tree stands tallagainst the backdrop of the setting sun, its branches reaching outwards as if embracing the changing sky. To me, this photograph symbolizes the power of perseverance andthe beauty of embracing change.Another photograph that holds a special place in myheart is a candid shot of two children playing in the rain. Their laughter echoes through the streets as they dance beneath the cascading droplets, their joy palpable even ina still image. In this moment frozen in time, I am reminded of the simple pleasures of life, of the innocence of childhood, and of the magic that exists in the most unexpected places. Through their playful antics, these children teach me to find joy in the present moment, to embrace spontaneity, and to cherish the bonds of friendship. But not all my photographs are filled with light and laughter; some capture the raw, unfiltered emotions oflife's darker moments. One such image is a black-and-white portrait of an elderly man sitting alone on a park bench, his weathered face etched with lines of sorrow and wisdom. In his eyes, I see a lifetime of stories untold, of dreams unfulfilled, and of hardships overcome. This photograph serves as a poignant reminder of the fragility of life, of the inevitability of aging, and of the importance of empathy and compassion. In each of these photographs, I see a reflection of myself staring back at me, a mirror to my soul. Through the lens of my camera, I explore the depths of my humanity, confront my fears and insecurities, and celebrate the moments of beauty and joy that make life worth living. Photography, for me, is not just about capturing images; it is about capturing moments, emotions, and memories thatwill last a lifetime. In conclusion, my photography is a window into my soul, a visual diary of my journey through life. Each photograph I capture is a testament to my experiences, my emotions, and my perspective on the world around me. Through my lens,I invite you to join me on this journey of self-discovery, to see the world through my eyes, and to appreciate the beauty and complexity of the human experience.。

看看我的新照片英语作文
看看我的新照片英语作文Title: My New Photo A Glimpse into Memories。
Recently, I stumbled upon an old photograph of minethat brought a wave of nostalgia crashing over me. It was a snapshot from a time when life felt simpler, and every moment was filled with unbridled joy and innocence. As I held the photograph in my hands, memories flooded my mind like a river overflowing its banks. In the picture, I stood with a wide grin on my face, surrounded by friends whose laughter echoed in my ears even now. We were young and carefree, with the world at our feet and dreams in our hearts. The photo captured a moment frozen in time, preserving the happiness and camaraderie we shared.Looking at that photograph, I couldn't help but marvel at how much had changed since then. Life had taken us on different paths, leading us to new places and experiences. Some of us had achieved our goals and found success, while others had faced setbacks and challenges along the way. Yet, in that moment captured on film, we were all equals, bound together by the simple pleasures of friendship and laughter. As I reflected on the photograph, I realized how important it is to cherish the memories we create alonglife's journey. They serve as reminders of who we are and where we come from, grounding us in our past as we navigate the uncertain terrain of the future. In a world that movesat breakneck speed, it's easy to get caught up in the chaos and lose sight of what truly matters. But photographs havea way of bringing us back to center, reminding us of the people and moments that shape our lives in profound ways.In today's digital age, where every moment is captured on smartphones and shared on social media, it's easy to overlook the power of a printed photograph. But there's something special about holding a physical copy in your hands, feeling the weight of memories that it carries. It's a tangible reminder of the moments that define us, serving as a testament to the richness of human experience. As I placed the photograph back in its frame, I made a silent vow to hold onto the memories it represented. In a world that's constantly changing, they are the one constant that we can always rely on. And while time may fade the colors and blur the lines, the essence of those momentswill remain etched in our hearts forever. So, the next time you come across an old photograph, take a moment to pause and reflect on the memories it holds. For in those faded images lies a treasure trove of experiences waiting to be rediscovered. And who knows, you might just find yourself transported back to a time whenlife was simpler, and every moment was filled with possibility.。
距离高考剩下不到一年的时间英语作文
距离高考剩下不到一年的时间英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1I Can't Believe It's Almost HereWow, can you believe it? The big test that everyone's been talking about for years is finally coming up in less than a year! The high school entrance exam is looming, and I have to admit, I'm starting to feel a little nervous. It seems like just yesterday I was a tiny little kid in kindergarten, learning how to hold a pencil and write my name. Now, here I am in my last year of primary school, and the expectations are getting higher and higher. Don't get me wrong, I love learning and I'm excited to go to high school, but the pressure is really starting to build. My parents, bless their hearts, have been on me like hawks lately. "Have you started studying for the exam yet?" they'll ask me every single day. "You know, your cousin Jia Li has been preparing for months already." Gee, thanks for the reminder, Mom and Dad! As if I could forget about the biggest test of my life so far.And then there are my teachers. They've been piling on the homework and extra assignments like crazy, saying it's all "good practice" for the exam. I get that they're just trying to help us get ready, but sometimes it feels like they're trying to drown us in work!I have to admit, there are times when I just want to throw my hands up and say, "Forget it! I'm not even going to bother studying for this stupid test." But then I remember how important it is, and how hard I've worked to get to this point. I can't let all that effort go to waste, can I?So, I take a deep breath and dive back into my studies. I'm tackling math problems, practicing my reading comprehension, and even trying to improve my handwriting so the test graders can actually read my answers. It's a lot of work, but I know it'll be worth it in the end.And who knows? Maybe all this stress and hard work will pay off, and I'll end up acing the exam. Wouldn't that be something?I can just imagine the look on my parents' faces if I brought home a top score. They'd be over the moon with pride!Or, maybe I'll just do my best and see where the chips fall. Either way, at least I'll know that I gave it my all and didn't have any regrets. That's really all anyone can ask for, right? So, bring it on, high school entrance exam! I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Well, maybe not quite ready yet, but I'm working on it. With less than a year to go, the countdown is officially on. Wish me luck!篇2Time Flies When You're Having Fun (and Studying Hard!)Wow, can you believe it's already been almost a year since we started preparing for the high school entrance exam? It feels like just yesterday we were playing wallball during recess without a care in the world. But now we've got our eyes on the prize - getting into the best high school we can!I have to admit, when my parents first told me last summer that I needed to start studying for the exam, I thought they were kidding. Study during summer vacation? No way! I wanted to spend my days swimming at the pool, riding my bike around the neighborhood, and having sleepovers with my best friends. The last thing on my mind was cracking open a book. But my parents were serious. They signed me up for prep classes and hired a tutor to come to our house twice a week. At first, I dragged my feet and complained about it constantly. Whydid I have to start worrying about high school already? I was only in 6th grade!Eventually though, I realized my parents had a point. The high school entrance exam is a really big deal. It determines what high school you get into, which then puts you on the path for what college you can go to later. They were just trying to help set me up for success.Once I got into the swing of my study routine, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. The prep classes were actually kind of fun since all my friends were there too. We would quiz each other with practice test questions and have little contests to see who could answer the most right. My tutor was also really smart and good at explaining things in a way that made sense. In those moments, it was hard to stay motivated. But my parents and teachers reminded me how important doing well on the exam was. They told me stories about students who slacked off and didn't take it seriously, only to miss their shot at getting into their dream school. That definitely kicked me into gear! With their support and encouragement, I've managed to stay pretty focused this past year. Between regular classes at school, my prep courses, tutoring sessions, and lots of practicetests, I've learned so much. Honestly, my brain feelslike a sponge that just keeps absorbing more and more information every day!Now that the exam is just a few months away, I can feel the pressure starting to build. Sometimes I get nervous about blanking out or not finishing in time. I had a terrible nightmare last week where I showed up on test day without a pencil! My parents keep reassuring me that as long as I've prepared as hard as I have, everything will be okay. I shouldn't stress too much. They're probably right. I've come so far already and worked incredibly hard. It's weird to think how just one test will basically determine my entire future. But I'm trying not to think about it like that. As long as I do my absolute best, the rest is out of my hands. When this is all over, I can't wait to take a big break from studying. I'm going to spend entire days just laying around watching TV, eating my favorite snacks, and hanging out with my friends. No books, no practice tests, no tutors. Just full-on relaxation! So to all my friends out there who are also gearing up for the exam - stay strong! We're in the home stretch now. Pretty soon, we'll be able to look back proudly on this experience andeverything we accomplished. Just don't lose focus quite yet. We've got this!篇3The Big Test is Coming!Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm in 6th grade. I just turned 12 years old a couple months ago. I'm really excited but also pretty nervous because this year is a huge deal for me. You see, next spring I'll be taking the high school entrance exam. Yup, the BIG test that helps decide what high school I'll get into. Eek!My parents and teachers have been talking about it a lot lately. They keep reminding me how important this exam is for my future. I try not to think about it too much because it makes my stomach do flips. But with less than a year to go until test day, it's getting really hard to ignore!Mom and Dad say I need to start studying and preparing right away if I want to get into one of the best high schools. They signed me up for extra tutoring classes in math, English, and Chinese after school. I have homework piling up from those on top of my regular schoolwork. It's a lot!Sometimes I get pretty stressed out thinking about everything I have to do to get ready. My brain feels like a dumpling being stretched in too many directions at once. I have to study SO many subjects - math, science, history, literature, you name it. The test covers absolutely everything. And it's not just academics either. The high schools look at your overall profile - extracurriculars, volunteer work, talents and hobbies. So I'm expected to keep up my piano lessons, clarinet in band, volunteering at the animal shelter on weekends, and being captain of the math team. Phew, I'm exhausted just listing it all!My best friend Kiki lives down the street from me. We've been neighbors and besties since we were babies basically. Kiki is wicked smart and gets perfect scores on every test. Her parents have extra high expectations for her to get into the most prestigious high school. I can tell the pressure really gets to her sometimes. The other day, Kiki came over after school looking totally stressed out. She had just bombed a practice exam and was feeling discouraged. We grabbed some snacks and went out to the treehouse in my backyard to decompress. Kiki kept saying she's going to disappoint her whole family if she doesn't ace the real high school test. I felt so bad for her. That's when I realized that yeah, this exam is important and we should prepare as best we can. But we're still just kids! We need breaks and down time too. Stressing ourselves out constantly isn't the answer. I tried reminding Kiki that she's brilliant and works super hard. One bad practice test isn't the end of the world.I'm determined not to let all this exam stress take over my whole life this year. Sure, I'll have to study really hard and stay on top of all my commitments. But I'm also going to make sure I schedule fun activities to look forward to. Maybe a monthly sleepover night with Kiki to just veg out and be silly 12-year-olds. Or a weekend day trip somewhere cool with my family. Anything to shake off the seriousness and pressure when it starts weighing me down.I know the high school entrance exam isn't just any test. It's a major hurdle that could impact what paths are open to me later in life. But I've got to find that balance between buckling down and enjoying my last year of childhood freedom before high school. I don't want to look back and realize I wasted my 6th grade being consumed with anxiety over the exam. There's so much more to me than just test scores! My parents love reminding me about this quote from a famous philosopher: "The journey is the reward." I think that means I shouldn't just obsess over the destination (getting into a top high school). I need to appreciate and find happiness in all the steps along the way too. The late nights studying, the piano rehearsals, spending time with friends and family - that's what feeds my soul and makes me ME.So yeah, the enormous exam is looming. But I've got this! With hard work, determination, and remembering to actually live my life too, I know I can conquer this challenge. One year from now, I'll be preparing to start an exciting new adventure in high school. For now though, I'm simply a 6th grader doing my best to soak up every last moment. Wish me luck!篇4The Big Test is Coming!Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm in the last year of elementary school. That means the Really Really Big Test to get into a great high school is coming up soon. All the grown-ups keep talking about how important this test is. They say it will decide my whole future! No pressure or anything...My mom especially has been driving me crazy about studying for the exam. Every day after school, she makes me do hours of practice tests and homework. I have to review all my notes from class over and over again until my brain feels like mush. Math, science, history, literature - we go over it all. And let's not forget about English! My mom is obsessed with making sure my English is perfect for the test. She makes me read, write, listen to audio lessons, you name it. I keep telling her I'm just a kid and my English is pretty good already, but she won't let up.The worst part is my mom has totally taken away anything fun in my life until after the exam. No video games, no watching TV shows, no hanging out with friends. She says those things are just "distractions" that will keep me from doing well on the test. Yeah right, like a couple episodes of my favorite anime is really going to make me flunk out! I haven't had a free weekend in months because they're "prime study time." My childhood is literally being sucked away...My dad isn't quite as bad, but he's still on me constantly to focus on studying. He'll quiz me over dinner about things I learned that day or random facts he thinks will be on the test. And he's alwayspressuring me to get perfect scores on my practice tests. "An A- on this one? You'll need to do better thanthat for the real exam." Gee, thanks for the vote of confidence, Dad!Sometimes I just want to scream at them "I'M ONLY 12 YEARS OLD! THIS IS TOO MUCH PRESSURE FOR A KID!" But I know they're just looking out for me and want me to get into a good high school. Apparently that leads to getting into a good college, getting a good job, meeting a nice spouse, having a beautiful family, retiring in comfort...you get the idea. This one exam is supposed to set me up for a great life. No wonder my parents are so crazy about it!To be honest, I am feeling pretty stressed about the test too. All my teachers have been saying how important it is and warning us not to slack off. We have to write a dozen practice essays per week. We take full-length mock exams every other day. My classmates and I constantly compare our scores and it's turned into a big competition. Nobody wants to be the one who fails and has to go to a lousy high school!I've started having nightmares about the exam. I'll be sitting there, test paper in front of me, and suddenly the questions start jumping around and morphing into gibberish. Or worse, I'll dream that I overslept on test day and missed the whole thing! Iwake up in a cold sweat every time. This test is going to give me gray hairs before I'm even a teenager.Still, as much as I complain about all the studying and stress, I do actually want to do well on this test. I've worked so hard for so many years, the last thing I want is to blow it all on one exam. And call me an overachiever, but I don't just want to pass - I want to get a really high score to have my pick of the best high schools around. Assuming I don't have a mental breakdown first, that is!My friends and I have all these fantasies about where we'll get in and what high school will be like. We can't wait to join clubs, go to dances, attend sporting events...ALL the stereotypical high school experiences you see on TV and in movies. Some of my friends even have crushes already and keep making bets about who will start dating who. Ah, young love.Part of me feels like I'm way too young to be stressing this much about my future. Isn't this was college kids are supposed to freak out about, not elementary schoolers? Sometimes I just want to be a carefree kid again. But I know that's just not possible right now. My parents sacrificed so much to give me opportunities they never had. I'd be ungrateful not to give this test everything I've got.So I'll just have to stick it out and keep pushing forward for the time being. Only 11 more months of this intense prep left! I'm sure by the time the exam actually arrives, I'll be studying in my sleep. Wish me luck...I'm going to need it!Well, that's all for now. My mom just called me in to start another marathon study session. Ugh, here we go again! Maybe I'll write again once this whole stressful experience is finally over. If I haven't had a full mental breakdown by then, that is. An ambitious but anxious student, signing off!篇5It's Only a Year Away!Wow, can you believe it? The big test that everyone's been talking about for years is finally coming up soon. The college entrance exam is less than a year away! I can't wait to take it and get into the best university ever.My older sister is a senior in high school this year, so she'll be one of the first ones to take the exam. She's been studying like crazy and is so stressed out about it. I see her staying up late every night, highlighting textbooks and making flashcards. Sometimes I feel bad for her having to work so hard. But I know it will be worth it when she gets into an amazing school. All of my sister's friends are panicking too. They have study groups together and tutors helping them prepare. I've overheard them talking about how important this single test is for their whole future. It's crazy to think that pretty much your entire life can be determined by how you do on one exam! No pressure or anything...My parents have been napigly telling us both how proud they'll be if we do well. They really want us to get into prestigious universities and study hard subjects like medicine, law, or engineering. I'm not totally sure what I want to do yet, but I'll probably pick something my parents suggest. They seem to know what's best. The teachers have been talking about the exam a lot at school too. They keep telling us elementary students that we need to start preparing now by studying hard and getting good grades. I didn't realize the exam was such a big deal until the last couple of years. Now I'm starting to get a little nervous thinking about how important it is!Some of the older kids have been meanie me and my friends because we're still so young. They say things like "Just you wait until high school, then you'll see how stressful preparing for the exam really is!" I'm starting to think they might be right. If mysister is THIS worked up over it already, it must be really difficult.I should probably start studying more instead of spending so much time playing video games.Part of me is definitely excited to take the college entrance exam though. It will be fun to get a chance to show off everything I've learned so far. And the schools you can get into by doing well seem so incredible! They have famous alumni, huge campuses, every resource you could possibly want. It's pretty much every student's dream to attend a prestigious university like that. I really hope I get the chance. At the same time, I'm trying not to put too much pressure on myself quite yet. I mean, I'm still just a kid! I should enjoy being young while I can. Once I get to high school, I know it will be full onstudy time. But for now, I'm going to keep having fun, spending time with my friends, and not stressing too much about tests that are still a year away.My family definitely has high expectations for me to live up to. Sometimes I worry that I'll disappoint them if I don't do well enough on the college entrance exam. But they keep reassuring me that they'll support me no matter what. As long as I try my best and work hard, that's all they can ask for.Overall, I'm feeling a mix of excitement and nerves about this huge exam coming up. On one hand, I'll finally have the opportunity to show what I'm made of and get into an amazing school. But on the other hand, that's an incredible amount of pressure to deal with! I know I'll definitely be studying a lot more this upcoming year. Wish me luck!I see how crazed my sister and her friends are about studying. I can't imagine what I'll be like when it's my turn. Maybe I'll be pulling countless all-nighters, cranking back energy drinks, and stressing myself out to the max too. Or maybe I'll be able to stay relatively calm and not make myself miserable. Only time will tell! One thing's for sure - this exam is kind of terrifying, but also a great opportunity. I have about a year left to prepare as much as I possibly can. No more slacking off or skimping on homework for me! It's grind time if I want to make it into a top university. Just gotta take it one day at a time, study my butt off, and stay focused on the endgame.Sometimes I daydream about getting that congratulatory letter in the mail, showing that I got an incredible score that allows me to go literally anywhere I want for college. Can you imagine how proud my parents would be? It would makeeverything - the stress, the anxiety, the grinding - completely worth it. Here's to hoping all that hard work pays off! Wish me luck...the countdown is officially on!篇6My Big Test is Coming Soon!Hiya! My name is Lily and I'm 12 years old. I'm in my last year of middle school and that means the biggest test of my life so far is coming up really soon - the high school entrance exam! Everybody says it's super important for getting into a good high school, and then an even better university later on. My parents and teachers have been telling me all about it since I was just a little kid. I've gotta admit, I'm getting pretty nervous thinking about it!All my classmates are stressed out too. We've been taking practice tests what feels like every other week to get ready. Some of the questions are sooo hard. Especially the math ones with all those confusing word problems. I'm pretty good at math normally when it's just numbers, but those tricky wordy questions always stump me. Like, why can't they just ask "What is 5 x 7?" instead of making me read a whole paragraph about train schedules or something? No fair!My reading and writing practice hasn't been much easier. We have to read allllll these boring books and stories, then answer a billion questions testing if we understood everything. And don't even get me started on the writing prompts! They always want me to "write a persuasive essay stating your opinion on such-and-such..." Ugh, making up opinions from scratch is the worst. Why can't I just write my mind and talk about my favorite TV shows or video games?Speaking of video games, that's been one of the biggest struggles with my exam prep - finding time for fun stuff! Between all the extra homework, tutoring sessions, and practice tests, there's hardly any room left in my schedule to hang out with friends or just relax. My mom has implemented a super strict "no screens" policy until after the exam to make sure I stay focused. I miss gaming SO much! Although, I guess it's sorta helped me in one way - all the sudden free time has gotten me back into some of my favorite activities from when I was younger that don't need a TV or computer. I've been reading tons of comic books, playing outside until way after dark, and even digging out my old arts and crafts supplies to make fun little dioramas and things. It's been nice to feel like a kid again instead of just prepping for that stupid test 24/7.Don't get me wrong, I know the exam is crucial and all. It basically decides my entire future! If I don't get a good score, I might get stuck going to one of those lousy high schools on the other side of town instead of getting into an amazing top-ranked one. And then how will I ever get into an elite college? And then how will I ever get a good job and make my parents proud? No pressure or anything! My oldest cousin took this same exam last year, and he said it was hands-down the most difficult thing he's ever done in his whole life. THREE DAYS of nonstop testing! His poor hand cramped up so bad on the second day that he could barely keep writing by the end. Just listening to his horror stories makes me want to barf. I really really really don't want to go through that! But I know I don't have a choice. Skipping the test and being an uneducated lame-o for the rest of my life is not an option. I've just got to power through it, no matter how awful it's gonna be. I'm trying to look at the positives to motivate myself:First off, the test happens during summer vacation when it's nice and hot outside. Which means instead of being trapped in a sweltering classroom, we'll have air conditioning to keep us cool while we work! Such a luxury, right? Beats sweating through your shirt for eight hours a day.Second, we're going to be bused to a huge fancy exam site instead of taking it at our normal school building. It's a bigshot university campus and we get to use their testing facilities! How cool is that?? Maybe seeing a college like that with my own eyes will help me picture my future goals better and stop me from squandering this opportunity. And lastly, the best part - at least in my opinion anyway - is that my parents and teachers have promised me an EPIC celebration when it's finally over, win or lose! We're talking an entire week off from any responsibilities whatsoever. Sleeping until noon every day, eating out for every meal, maybe even going on a mini vacation somewhere fun! Those are the kinds of thoughts I need to cling to when I start feeling overwhelmed by exam anxiety. It'll all be worth it in the end.Wish me luck, everybody! Only 327 more days until the big test. But who's counting?。

英语作文自己喜欢的艺术表现形式全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Art Form: DrawingHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm in fifth grade. For today's assignment, I need to write about my favorite art form. Easy peasy! My favorite kind of art is definitely drawing. I just love putting pencil or pen to paper and seeing my imagination come alive on the page.Drawing is the best because you can create anything you can dream up. If I want to draw a realistic portrait, I can try my best to capture every little detail perfectly. But if I'm in a silly mood, I can invent crazy cartoon characters with wild colors and wacky features. Maybe I'll give them three eyes, antennae on their head, or bright purple polka-dotted skin! The only limit is my own creativity.I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. When I was really little, my drawings were just a bunch of squiggly lines and random shapes. But as I got older, the shapes started looking more like people, animals, houses, trees, and other real things. My parents have kept a bunch of my old drawings from over the years. It's so funny to look back at them now and see how my skills have improved! These days, I'm getting pretty good if I do say so myself. I can draw things that actually look like what they're supposed to be instead of just a bunch of blobs. My favorite things to draw are animals, especially cats. I think cats are just about the cutest things ever with their adorable faces, soft fur, and curious personalities. Capturing those big eyes, pointy ears, and raised tails isn't easy, but I keep practicing until I get it right.Drawing is a talent you're born with, but it's also a skill you can develop through hard work and determination. You have to keep practicing over and over, paying close attention to details, textures, proportions, shading, and all the little things that make a drawing look realistic and three-dimensional. I spend hours sketching, erasing, and re-sketching until I'm satisfied with the result.Sometimes, I get frustrated when a drawing doesn't turn out how I pictured it in my mind. But then I remember that professional artists don't become amazing overnight. It takes years of effort, failing, learning, and trying again to become a true master. I'm still just a kid, so I shouldn't be too hard onmyself. As long as I keep at it, my talent will keep growing. Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say!Besides drawing, I also love other art forms too. Painting is fun, especially with bright, colorful paints that I can mix into any shade I want. Sculpting with clay or playdough lets me build three-dimensional figures that I can actually hold in my hands. And sometimes, I even experiment with crafty things like making friendship bracelets, weaving potholders on a tiny loom, or constructing things out of popsicle sticks and pipe cleaners.Art class is my favorite period at school. I love when we get to learn about famous artists from history and analyze their styles and techniques. My favorite artists are Pablo Picasso for his wacky cubist portraits, Vincent Van Gogh for his bold brush strokes and vivid colors, and Chuck Close for his enormous, photorealistic facial portraits made up of tiny abstract patterns. I find their stories and artwork so fascinating! When I'm bored at home, I don't even need fancy art supplies to get my creativity flowing. A simple pencil and the backside of my homework assignment is a blank canvas waiting for me to doodle. I'll draw patterns, write my name in cool bubble letters, or sketch little cartoons in the margins. That's the great thing about drawing - you can do it anywhere, anytime! My dream is to become a professional artist when I grow up. Maybe I'll be an illustrator for children's books, bringing whimsical fairy tales and adventures to life with my pen. Or maybe I'll work as an animator, drawing the characters and backgrounds for animated movies and TV shows. I could even be a courtroom sketch artist, capturing the drama duringhigh-profile trials! No matter what path I choose, I know art will always be a huge part of my life.Until then, I'll keep practicing my drawing skills as much as I can. Pretty soon, I'm going to go through all my art supplies and pick out some fresh pencils, pens, markers, and paper. Then I'll flip through some of my sketchbooks from the past few years to see how far I've come. After that, it'll be time to grab a clean sheet of paper and let my pencil fly across the page, creating my latest masterpiece. Maybe I'll draw a friendly dinosaur, a magical unicorn, or a far-off alien planet. Or who knows? I could come up with something completely new that I've never drawn before! The possibilities are endless when you're an artist. And that's why I love, love, LOVE to draw!篇2My Favorite Art Form: DrawingHi there! My name is Jamie and I am 10 years old. For today's essay assignment, I'm going to write all about my favorite way to make art - drawing! I just love putting pencil or pen to paper and creating pictures. Drawing lets me express myself and bring my imagination to life on the page.I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. When I was really little, I would scribble with crayons or markers all over any piece of paper I could find - the backs of old homework assignments, grocery lists, you name it! My parents had to keep a close eye on me to make sure I didn't decorate the walls too. As I got a bit older, my scribbles started turning into actual pictures - my family, our pets, things from my dreams. That's when my parents realized how much I enjoyed drawing and started getting me art supplies like crayons, colored pencils, markers, and sketchpads for my birthdays and holidays. These days, drawing is one of my very favorite activities. I try to practice my drawing skills every single day, even if it's just a small doodle in the margins of my notebook during class. I love drawing so much because it allows me to create absolutely anything I can imagine. If I picture something in my mind's eye, I can transfer it onto the paper and make it real. It's like magic! My drawings tend to be a mix of realistic things I see in everyday life combined with made-up fantasy elements. For example, I might draw a realistic picture of my bedroom, but then add a dragon curled up on the bed or a unicorn looking out the window. Or I'll draw my friends and family as they look in real life, but give them crazy haircuts or clothes. Sometimes I even draw myself as a grown-up with an exciting career like being an astronaut or professional basketball player. The possibilities are endless when you're the creator!I find drawing to be a very calming and relaxing activity too. When I'm feeling bored, antsy, or even upset about something, I can sit down with my sketchpad and pencils and just get lost in the process of creating a new picture. I don't think about anything else except what I want to draw next. It's a nice way to take a break from everything and focus just on my artwork. Drawing helps me work through my emotions in a positive way.My dream is to become a professional artist or illustrator when I grow up. I've always loved children's books with beautiful pictures, so maybe I could draw illustrations for new books someday. Or perhaps I could become an animator and create the drawings that will eventually become animated movies and TVshows. Wouldn't that be amazing? I could draw all day every day as my career. For now though, I'll just keep practicing my drawing skills whenever I can. I'm constantly working to get better at certain techniques like shading, perspective, proportions of the human body, texturing, and more. Drawing takes a ton of patience and practice, but that's part of what makes it so rewarding. Each new picture I create makes me proud of the progress I've made and motivates me to keep at it.I never leave home without a small sketchbook and a few pencils, just in case inspiration strikes while I'm out and about. I've drawn pictures at the park, in waiting rooms, on the bus, you name it. One of my favorite sketches is a quirky self-portrait I did while waiting for a dentist appointment last year. The receptionist thought it was so good that she asked if she could hang it up behind the front desk. How cool is that?My friends and family are very supportive of my love for drawing too, which makes me really happy. They're always asking to see my latest artwork and giving me encouragement to keep creating. For my last birthday, my parents contacted some of our relatives and asked if they could send me old framed artworks, canvases, or other art supplies they didn't needanymore. I got a huge haul of new art materials and I was over the moon! My parents converted an old spare room into an art studio just for me with shelves for all my supplies, an easel, and big windows for natural light. I have my own special space now where I can draw for hours without any interruptions.Well, I could honestly go on and on about how much I love drawing, but I better start wrapping this essay up. To leave you with one last thought - I feel so lucky to have discovered my passion for art at such a young age. Drawing has brought me so much joy, creativity, and confidence already, and I can't wait to see where it will take me in the future. Thanks for reading about my favorite form of artistic expression - catch you later!篇3My Favorite Art Form: Drawing and PaintingI absolutely love drawing and painting! It's my most favorite way to make art. There's just something so fun and creative about taking a blank sheet of paper and bringing it to life with colors, lines, and shapes. One of the things I like best about drawing is that you can create anything you can imagine. Want to draw a magical unicorn prancing through a rainbow forest? Easy peasy! Howabout a robot ninja fighting a fire-breathing dragon? No problem! Drawing lets your creativity and imagination run totally wild. And the best part is, you don't need any fancy expensive supplies to draw. A simple pencil and paper is really all you need to get started. Though I do really enjoy using fun art supplies like color pencils, markers, paints, and crayons when I can. There are so many different artistic tools and mediums you can use to draw. It's fun experimenting with new ones.My favorite thing to draw is animals - especially cute, fluffy ones like puppies, kittens, and bunnies. I love trying to capture how soft and cuddly they look. But I also enjoy drawing people, plants, vehicles, buildings, magical creatures, and more. Really, I'll draw just about anything!Sometimes I like to draw things exactly how they look in real life. But other times, I'll let my imagination take over and draw something totally made up and wacky. Maybe I'll combine different animals to create a new fun creature. Or give a person crazy hair or funky clothes. The possibilities are endless when you're drawing!I especially love drawing cartoon and comic book style characters. I think it's so cool how you can take a really simpleshape, add some extra lines, and suddenly it looks like a living, breathing person or animal. I get such a kick out of bringing simple doodles to life and giving them big expressions and personalities through my drawings. In addition to drawing, I also really enjoy painting. There's something almost magical about how you can blend together different colors of paint to create new shades and hues. My favorite types of paints are watercolors and acrylics. Watercolors are so vibrant and I love the dreamy, flowy effects you can create with them. And acrylic paints are super fun because they are so vibrant and let you paint in really thick, textured brush strokes.Whether I'm drawing or painting, I find the whole process so relaxing and calming. All my worries and stresses just seem to melt away as I'm focused on my artwork. It's like I get totally absorbed into my own creative little world. Time seems to fly by without me even realizing it.I love that you can take drawing and painting with you anywhere too. As long as I have a small pad of paper and some pencils or markers in my backpack, I can sketch whenever and wherever I am. Some of my best drawings have happened while I'm just doodling during class or while I'm on a long car ride.Creating artwork just makes me feel so happy and proud inside. There's such a great sense of satisfaction when you step back and admire the finished drawing or painting you've made. Especially if it's something I spent a lot of time working really hard on. I beam with joy when my parents or teachers compliment my artwork and put it up on the fridge or the classroom walls.I'm constantly amazed by how good artists can use just lines, colors, shapes, and brushstrokes to create images that look just like photographs or scenes from real life. I practice drawing from real life all the time, trying to get better and better at making my art look realistic. I hope that if I keep practicing and working hard, one day I can become a famous artist when I grow up!For now though, I'm just happy creating artwork as a fun hobby and creative outlet. Drawing and painting allows me to express myself in a unique way. My drawings and paintings are like snapshots into my personality and imagination. I love getting lost in my little artistic world of colors, doodles, and creativity. So if you ever see me with my head down, brow furrowed in concentration, and colored pencils or paintbrushes in hand - you'll know I'm just hard at work on my latest masterpiece!Making art is one of my absolute favorite things to do. I'll never get bored of drawing and painting fun, creative, and imaginative pictures. It's the best art form in the whole world!。

自我介紹:MEI am still looking for the perfect match = )I am from California, a very nice and normal guy who is seeking a good friend that could lead to seriousrelationship. I've been considered to be handsome and in great shape with boyish good looks and a very athletic build. I'm very clean cut looking, dressing and acting. I can also be a great listener if our chemistry is right, which is a benefit that I would believe you would be looking for as well. I'm otherwise outgoing, fun, witty, charming, smart and make for great pillow talk. So, if you are interested, I'd love tohear from you. Please purchase my flight ticket and I will come to see you soon !~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~NOTE~You should be able to understand and communicate with some English. Please have a camera~cell phone and be able to share normal day to day pictures of yourself as opposed to glamour shots currently shown in your profile. Also, you should have a home computer or PC so we may exchange e-mails and also use Skype or Yahoo IM for continued conversations.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~YOUShould be a sexy woman with whom I can have an ongoing trust with. I am looking for someone that seeks a mutual loving committed relationship. When I use the word "mutual", I am looking for someone special to meet me half way. I know the foreign culture, most women want a man to take care of everything for them. This is OK, but I would like a special woman to take care of me as well. This is what I call meeting me half way or a healthy mutual relationship. Are you willing to share in all things with me ???Are you interested to continue your career and work here in the USA ? Please think it over = )You are probably also very busy with work, recently out of a relationship or are otherwise not interested in playing games. What should matter is that our goal is to become a real sincere couple, loving, playing and perfecting our relationI like to meet and talk with a very nice woman who knows life.自我介紹:I'm a hard working person who is romantic, Im loyal, neat and clean.
