4.分词作定语和状语
分词可分为两种形式,即v.-ing形式和v.-ed形式。
(1) v.-ing形式

2.连系动词的分类
(1)变化类:become,80,get,grow,fall,turn,run
(2)感官类:feel,smell,taste,look,sound

b. v.-ing形式表示“??的”意思,称之为现在分词。
a walking child(a child who is walking)正在走路的孩子,
working people劳动人民,the rising sun正在升起的太阳
v.-ing形式短语作定语时,一般放在它所修饰的名词之后,相当于一个定语从句。
①作定语
v.-ing形式的单词可以充当名词的前置修饰词,这时它有两种情况:
a. v.-ing形式表示“供??之用(used for,)”的意思,这类作定语的v.-ing形式称之为动名词。
