本课是第二单元,本模块的主要话题是Cities,本单元重点学习city, street, sports, center, hotel, square. How can I get there? You can take ...目的在于让学生知道在一个陌生的城市里想要去某个地方如何询问路。

本课是第二单元第二课,处于承上启下的作用,重点学习buy some toys, see a film, go boating, a busy day这几个词组和句型,并复习第一单元句型Where is the ...? It’s across from / next to / between ...通过对话学习,让学生感受语言的魅力,并在学习过程中让学生学会运用语言知识和他人交流。

学情分析我校的学生都是来自农村,四年级的孩子们经过三年半的英语学习,积累了一些教材中出现的单词、词组和句子,能够在一定的情境中正确运用英语去交流,正确表达自己的思想,学会了英语基本的看图说话能力。

虽然孩子们具备了一定的听说读写的技能和英语阅读能力,但是他们的综合素养较差,孩子们在上学期的学业水平测试两级分化极为严重。

孩子们在课上表现越来越不积极,个别孩子不喜欢与别人交流(大部分孩子是留守儿童,父母离异的也不少),基于以上现状,我在英语学科日常管理的过程中采用小组合作学习,原本天真、活泼、可爱的孩子们重新找到了自信,英语课堂上他们敢想、敢说、敢做,求新求异的愿望非常强烈。

小组合作学习调动了孩子们英语学习的兴趣和积极性。

本课教学中我采用多媒体教学,从学生的参与、习题的操练及知识的拓展几方面着手,让学生从心里和视觉、思维品质、学习能力及知识运用等方面会有不同的收获。

(1) 做“考眼力”游戏。

如果学生猜不出,可以再进一步给出更丰富的语言信息或更全面的图片。

(2) 做“城市建筑师”游戏。

教师出示一个城市场景图,图上有一些场所,也有一些空白的地方。

学生根据教师的描述,将空白地方补充上相应的场所。

也可以两人一组,一个学生展开想象,模仿教师的描述,试着用三句以内的话描述一个场所,另一个学生猜测,并把场所名称补写在空白处。
