Last month, our class took part in the Campus Poetry Contest held in our school, which was rewarding and meaningful.
At the school meeting, our headmaster informed us of the activity themed our colorful school life. Hearing the news, we were very excited and couldn't help clapping our hands warmly. My classmates and I, as fans of our Chinese poetry, signed up for it without hesitation. As soon as we went back to the classroom, we began to prepare for it. Thanks to our hard work, our reading won praise and applause from all the audience. All our efforts paid off. On the award ceremony, our headmaster announced that we won out. I was quite satisfied with the result.
