课题英语完形填空解题技巧

Content:cloze test . Teaching goals

1. Learn some points related to the cloze test.

2. Enable the students to master some methods of the cloze test and try to complete the exercise correctly.

Teaching important points

To help the students to do the cloze test correctly by using some skills. .

Teaching difficult points

1. To help the students learn to observe, analyse and summarize some skills of the cloze test

themselves.

2. To help the students put what they have learnt into practice.

Step1. Lead- in

Share a Chinese story with the students, and ask the students to fill in the blanks.

Step2. Cloze test

Task1. Explain some characters of cloze test in College Entrance Exam.

高考英语完形填空命题特点

1. 短文长度200词左右,生词少,难度适中。

2. 首句无空格,提供语境。5-10词设一空(人名、地名、日期、数字不在之列)。隔词

数越少,题目越难;反之亦然。

3. 选项多为一词,偶会为词组。四选项为同一类词或属同一范畴,或近义或异义,或与

前后配成词组。故干扰性、迷惑性大。

4. 考查单词以实词(v.,n.,adj.,adv,pron.)为主,虚词(conj.,prep.)为辅。实词一般占80%-90%,

其中又以动、名、形为主。

5. 以考查学生对文章的整体理解和词汇的意义把握为主。有些要结合常识才能正确选项;

有些甚至要求在通篇理解的基础上,正确把握上下文的逻辑关系,才能正确判断和选择。Some steps of doing cloze test

Step1. Skip the passage to get the general idea.

Step2. Reread and choose the best answer for each blank by using some methods.

Step3. Read the passage again and check the answers.

Tips:

4. the meaning of the whole passage

设计意图:让学生,尤其是高一的学生了解该题型在考试中的命题特点及解题步骤。

Task2.Learn some methods of doing cloze.

Ask some students to show their answers to the sentences in Pre-class, and tell us how to get the answers.

Give other examples to help the students summarize the skills of the cloze test.

考察学生通过上下文的前后提示或暗示对整体文意进行把握的能力。这种考查方式所占的比例较大且难度也大若单纯从句子或个别段落来分析或许所给的四个答案在语法和结构上都是正确的若放在全局则不一定正确。因此快速浏览全文领悟文章主旨通过上下文的语境来选择答案是解决这类题的关键。
