1. Describe one thing you got for free2. Describe a website you often browse3. Describe a plant or vegetable in your country4. Describe something you bought that made you happy5. Describe a big company organization that you know in your city二、具体题目分析:Describe something you bought that made you happyYou should say:What it isWhy you bought itHow you chose itAnd explain why you think it is specialSpeaking of something I bought that made me happy, I’d like to talk about my oven.If I recall correctly I think it was a Saturday afternoon when I was browsing the website of Taobao, the Chinese version of Amazon, there was a sales promotion commercial of an oven attracted me, and I was seized by whim--- why don’t I just buy one? Actually, there were tons of different brands and I just bought the best-selling one without hesitation and started the firsthand experience of baking.I have had a sweet tooth from a very young age, and I am particularly fond of desserts. The sweet tooth drives me to try nearly every kind of cake: cupcakes, puff, cookies and so forth. But I had never tried to make one on my own or even touch a real oven until I purchased one.It is hard and frustrating to start baking. I spent nearly a whole week learning to make a cake perfectly, I tried a bunch of times and also progressed through carefully weighing the powder, sugar and milk. I was thrilled when the beautiful cake was finally taken out from the oven.I feel it is special to me because, firstly it is always satisfying to eat something from your own hand, and secondly it reveals the importance of taking the first step. I always fail in things that I want badly at first, which is often because of my fear to getting started. I’ve learnt from baking that it isn’t as hard as I imagined; what I need to do is just take the first step. I believe this inspiration would be helpful to me in many ways.1月6日雅思听力真题回忆:Section 1场景:邮寄咨询题型:10 笔记填空参考答案:1-10) Table Completion1.a bicycle2.up to 40 pounds3.liquids or foods4.plastic5.Saturdays6.special service of storage7.Sweden8.5759.driver10. photocopy of passportSection 2场景:烹饪课程介绍题型:10 匹配题参考答案:11.North Carolina C. individual classes12.Italy H. provides bus tour13.New Orleans F. provides afternoon walking tours14.Budget Feasts G. making time-saving food15.Cooking for Two D. cooking for college students16.Variations in Theme A. using a particular ingredient17.Oven H18.Refrigerator F19.Demonstration Kitchen D20.Utensil Cabinet B (答案仅供参考)Section 3场景:课程讨论题型:8 单选+2 多选参考答案:21.Adele does research on Britublock because B.

It's difficult for people to save money. Why? Make some suggestions for helping people save money.

In modern society, it seems that more money people earn, muchharder it is for them to save financially. The reason for this phenomenon is, according to my opinion, that more and more sophisticated and user-friendly products, like iPhone, appear and companies sold them at higher price, which attracted consumers’ attention and allured them to pay more for such gadgets. From my perspective, first of all, making a budget is the most useful way. For example, if your salary is $5000, you could put 2500 aside as savings. What’s more, second-hand products still function well, but the price is comparatively much lower than that of first-hand ones. You could buy a second-hand Ford car with only $500 while it costs $1000 to get a new one. Nowadays, some parents prefer homeschooling to sending theirchildren to school. What do you think?

Do you think doing nothing means a waste of time?Do you think it's important to be punctual?

It is a detailed recall of my memory. As for a time that I arrived at a place early, I would like to say the experience that I took part in the IELTS speaking test at first time. It was in May of 2015. My speaking test venue was Beijing Language and Culture University at that time. I got up one and an half hour earlier than usual for thespeaking test. When I got there, I had to wait for one hour before I could enter the test classroom. So I opened my book to review the speaking topics. Suddenly a girl who was also sitting in the waiting room dropped her personal water bottle. All water splashed and flowed out but it seemed that she didn’t take any facial tissues or napkins to clean it up. She looked embarrassed. Then I gave her mine. She was very grateful. After the test, she asked me to go with her. And now we have become friends.I went to the test venue early because I didn’t have enough preparation for my speaking test. You know, at that moment, getting up earlier and arrive there earlier could be a kind of psychological compensation and comfort since you have no other choice or efforts to do for the test. Besides, I wasn’t familiar with the route to get there although I was sure it was not so complicated to find the university. I didn’t have a good score of my IELTS speaking test at that time, but unexpectedly, I got a friend. The story told me that “better late than never; better earlier than later”.。

耳机会进行试音,你只要以你正常的声音一直说“describe the city you live in”就好。

TASK 2题型问法还是最经典的“Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?”以及“Some people prefer A…Others prefer B…Which do you prefer?”

Passage Two学科分类:考古类题目:Impacts and Mass Extinctions内容回忆:Impacts and Mass Extinctions(和原文90%相似题目有改动)Meteorites and impact craters bear witness to the fact that large impacts occasionally occur on Earth. Meteor Crater in the northern Arizona desert of the United States formed about 50,000 years ago when a metallic impactor roughly 50 meters across crashed to Earth with the explosive power of a 20-megaton hydrogen bomb. Although the crater is only slightly more than one kilometer across, an area covering hundreds of square kilometers was probably battered by the blast and ejecta—the debris ejected or displaced during the formation of an impact crater. Far bigger impacts have occurred, sometimes with catastrophic consequences for life on Earth. While collecting geological samples in Italy in 1978, the father-son team of Luis and Walter Alvarez discovered a thin layer of dark sediment that had apparently been deposited 65 million years ago—at about the same time that the dinosaurs and many other organisms suddenly became extinct. Subsequent studies found similar sediment deposited at the same time at many sites around the world. Careful analysis showed this worldwide sediment layer to be rich in iridium, and element that is rare on Earth’s surface. But iridium is common in primitive meteorites, which led the Alvarezes to a stunning conclusion: the extinction of thedinosaurs was caused by the impact of an asteroid or comet. This conclusion was not immediately accepted and still generates some controversy, but it now seems clear that a major impact coincided with the death of the dinosaurs. While the dinosaurs were the most famous victims of this mass extinction, it seems that up to 99 percent of all living things were killed and that 75 percent of all species living on Earth were wiped out at that time. How could an impact lead to mass extinction? The amount of iridium deposited worldwide suggests that the impactor must have been about 10 kilometers across. After a decade-long search, scientists identified what appears to be the impact crater from the event. Located off the coast of Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula, it is 200 kilometers across, which is close to what one would expect for a 10-kilometer impactor, and dates to 65 million years ago. Further evidence that the Yucatan crater is the right one comes from the distribution of small glassy spheres that formed when the molten impact ejecta solidified as it rained back to Earth. More of these glassy spheres are found in regions near the crater, and careful study of their distribution suggests that the impactor crashed to Earth at a slight angle. These pieces of once molten rock are evidence of an explosion powerful enough to instantly melt bedrock and propel it far from its origin. The impact almost immediately sent a shower of debris raining across much of North and South America and generatedhuge waves that may have sloshed more than 1,000 kilometers inland. Many North American species thus may have been wiped out shortly after impact. For the rest of the world, death may have come more slowly. Heat from the impact and returning ejecta probably ignited wildfires in forests around the world. Evidence of wildfires is found in the large amount of soot (a black powdery form of carbon produced when coal, wood, or oil is burned) that is also present in the indium-rich sediment from 65 million years ago. The impact also sent huge quantities of dust high into the stratosphere, where it remained for several years, blocking out sunlight, cooling the surface, and affecting atmospheric chemistry. Plants died for lack of sunlight, and effects propagated throughout the food chain.Perhaps the most astonishing fact is not that 75 percent of all species died, but that 25 percent survived. Among the survivors were a few small, rodent-like mammals. These mammals may have survived because they lived in underground burrows and managed to store enough food to outlast the long spell of cold, dark days. Small mammals had first arisen at about the same time as the dinosaurs, more than 100 million years earlier. But the sudden disappearance of the dominant dinosaurs made these mammals dominant.Paragraph 1Meteorites and impact craters bear witness to the fact that large impacts occasionally occur on Earth. Far bigger impacts have occurred, sometimes with catastrophic consequences for life on Earth.1. The word ”catastrophic”in the passage is closet in meaning to¡widespread¡disastrous¡important¡immediateParagraph 2While collecting geological samples in Italy in 1978, the father-son team of Luis and Walter Alvarez discovered a thin layer of dark sediment that had apparently been deposited 65 million years ago—at about the same time that the dinosaurs and many other organisms suddenly became extinct. Subsequent studies found similar sediment deposited at the same time at many sites around the world. While the dinosaurs were the most famous victims of this mass extinction, it seems that up to 99 percent of all living things were killed and that 75 percent of all species living on Earth were wiped out at that time.2. The word ”Subsequent”in the passage is closet in meaning to¡Detailed¡Later¡Recent¡Additional3. The phrase ”coincided with”in the passage is closet in meaning to ¡occurred before¡happened at the same time as¡speeded up¡caused4. In paragraph 2, the author discusses the presence of iridium in the sediment layer discovered by the Alvarezes because¡it supported their claim that toxic levels of iridium could have killed the dinosaurs¡it led some scientists to question the validity of the Alvarezes’study ¡it led the Alvarezes to conclude that a space impactor killed the dinosaurs¡it showed that new discoveries were still being made about the extinction of the dinosaursParagraph 2 is marked with an arrow [→]5. Which of the following statements about scientists’theories on the extinction of the dinosaurs can be inferred from paragraph 2?¡Some scientists do not believe that an asteroid or comet impact killed the dinosaurs.¡Some scientists think that iridium was abundant on Earth before the extinction of the dinosaurs.¡Some scientists doubt that all of the dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago.¡Some scientists believe that the dinosaurs became extinct only after the plants and animals they ate disappeared.Paragraph 2 is marked with an arrow [→]6. Which of the sentences below best expresses the essential information in the highlighted sentence in the passage? Incorrect choices change the meaning in important ways or leave out essential information.¡Alarge percentage of Earth’s living things were killed along with the dinosaurs.¡Seventy-five percent of all species, including 75 percent of dinosaur species, were victims of a single mass extinction.¡In the extinction that eliminated the dinosaurs, up to 99 percent of all living things and 75 percent of all species were wiped out.¡Dinosaurs were the most famous victims of a mass extinction, but there have also been mass extinctions that wiped out most of Earth’s other species.Paragraph 3How could an impact lead to mass extinction? The amount of iridium deposited worldwide suggests that the impactor must have been about 10 kilometers across. After a decade-long search, scientists identified what appears to be the impact crater from the event. Located off the coast of Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula, it is 200 kilometers across, which is close to what one would expect for a 10-kilometer impactor, and dates to 65 million years ago. The impact also sent huge quantities of dust high into the stratosphere, where it remained for several years, blocking out sunlight, cooling the surface, and affecting atmospheric chemistry. Plants died for lack of sunlight, and effects propagated throughout the food chain.7. According to paragraph 3, what information did scientists use to predict the size of the impactor that they believed struck Earth 65 million years ago?¡The size of the debris found in geological samples from that time¡The distance inland that traces of tidal waves were found¡The amount of iridium found in sediment from that time¡The number of species that became extinct at that timeParagraph 3 is marked with an arrow [→]8. According to paragraph 3, the shower of debris created by the impact suggests that the impactor¡was 200 kilometers across¡landed about 1,000 kilometers inland¡had a molten core that solidified immediately as the impactor hit Earth ¡was probably responsible for the immediate extinction of many North American speciesParagraph 3 is marked with an arrow [→]9. In paragraph 3, why does the author include the information that a large amount of soot is found in sediment from 65 million years ago? ¡To identify the largest component of the dust sent into the atmosphere by the impactor’s crash¡To support the idea that the impactor’s crash probably caused widespread wildfires¡To emphasize the large variety of substances found in the sediment ¡To cast doubt on the claim that the impact affected only the area near the crash siteParagraph 3 is marked with an arrow [→]10. Which of the following is NOT mentioned in paragraph 3 as an effect of the dust raised by the impact 65 million years ago?¡It cooled the surface of Earth.¡It released toxic chemicals into the stratosphere.¡It caused changes in the chemical composition of the atmosphere.¡It prevented sunlight from reaching the surface of Earth. Paragraph 3 is marked with an arrow [→]11. The word ”propagated”in the passage is closet in meaning to¡were seen¡occurred¡caused harm¡spreadParagraph 4Perhaps the most astonishing fact is not that 75 percent of all species died, but that 25 percent survived. According to paragraph 4, all of the following are true of the animals that survived the impact EXCEPT:¡They probably had a lot of food stored up.¡Many lived underground.¡Most were relatively new species.¡They tended to be small.Paragraph 4 is marked with an arrow [→]Paragraph3How could an impact lead to mass extinction? The impact almost immediately sent a shower of debris raining across much of North and South America and generated huge waves that may have sloshed more than 1,000 kilometers inland. Many North American species thus may have been wiped out shortly after impact. For the rest of the world, death may have come more slowly.Heat from the impact and returning ejecta probably ignited wildfires in forests around the world. Plants died for lack of sunlight, and effects propagated throughout the food chain.13. Look at the four squares that indicate where the following sentence could be added to the passage. As a result, molten material was pushed out toward the north with small glass spheres found more than 2,500 kilometers to the northwest. Where would the sentence best fit? Click on a square to add the sentence to the passage.14. Directions: An introductory sentence for a brief summary of the passage is provided below. Some answer choices do not belong in the summary because they express ideas that are not presented in the passage or are minor ideas in the passage. This question is worth 2 points.Drag your choices to the spaces where they belong. To review the passage, click onView Text.Asteroids and other large bodies from space have occasionally struck Earth, causing mass destruction and extinction.Answer Choices¡The large impactor that crashed in what is now the Arizona desert exploded with the force of a 20-megaton hydrogen bomb.¡Although the crash of a large impactor would have killed all living things near the site of impact, most animals living farther away adapted to changes in the environment.¡Scientists believe the reason the impactor that struck Earth 65 million years ago was so deadly was because it contained many toxic compounds, such as iridium.¡A worldwide sediment layer of iridium suggests that an asteroid or comet impacted Earth 65 million years ago, possibly causing the extinction of the dinosaurs.¡The large impact that caused the Yucatan crater probably produced both immediate natural disasters and a long-lasting layer of dust in the atmosphere.¡Despite the destructive effects of the large impact 65 million years ago, around 25 percent of Earth’s species survived and mammals came to be dominant.
