这部由同名小说改编的剧集讲述两个吸血鬼兄弟争斗一位父母双亡高中女生的故事。受到《暮色》影响，吸 血鬼题材全球升温，这部貌似《暮色》电视剧版本的剧集制作精良，其中的吸血鬼打斗场面力度速度都不差于电 影。再加上三位主要女演员年轻漂亮，所以赢来了不少的固定观众。（时光评）
四个月前的一场车祸使17岁的埃琳娜和15岁的杰米里两姐弟变成了孤儿,两人寄宿在杰娜姨妈家，虽然杰娜 看上去不近人情，但却用尽心思想做好代理父母。
