一、教材分析
本部分通过Miss White, John,Mike 与陈杰在动物园看大象的语境中呈现了核心句型It has...。
二、学情分析
本课的内容是同学们上动物园,并描述动物,同学们对动物都很了解,在三年级上册就已经接触过了,而且本课是第二课时,很多形容词已经不陌生,都能够描述动物的特征。
三、教学目标:
(一)知识目标
能够理解对话大意,能够用正确的语音语调朗读对话。
(二)能力目标
能够在语境中区分和运用“It has a + 形容词+单数
身体部位”和“It has+形容词+复数身体部位”的句型。
(三)情感目标
教育学生要以欣赏的目光去看待周围的人和事。
(四)教学重难点
能灵活运用所学的形容词来描述动物的外貌。
四、教学步骤
Step 1: Warm-up
Hello, everyone. How are you today? Are you happy today? Do you want to play game? First answer my
question.
T: What animals do you know?
S: ...
T: You know some animals you can see them on the farm, for example ... ,and some animals you can see them at the zoo, for example...
Let’s choose what animals can you see at the zoo.
设计意图:利用PK游戏,激发学生兴趣,营造轻松愉快的学习氛围,让学生很快的进入英语课堂,并激活学生已有经验,进行知识迁移。
we can see them at the zoo. Do you remember Miss White Amy and Zhangpeng go to the zoo, what animals do they see?Can you describe giraffe/ bear? What are they talking? Who wants to be Miss White, Amy and Zhangpeng?
设计意图:让学生在表演中复习A部分talk,激发学生说的欲望,巩固形容词,并将语境自然引入新课。
Step 2 Presentation
T:Today, what animals do they see? Can you describe the elephant?Now let’s watch it and tell me which part are they talking?
Understand? What does Chen Jie say about the elephant? What does John say about the elephant?
What does Mike say about the elephant?
What does Miss White say?
Understand?
设计意图:通过读图简单了解图片信息,在看视频整体感知语言,教师在引导学生细化理解每句话,让学生了解每个人说的话,理解句型意思,强调重难点。
Step 3 Practice
(1).Listen and repeat
That’s the whole story! Let’s listen and speak.
(2).Let’s dub
You can read the dialogue, let’s dub it now. Pay attention these assessment.
How about them? Super! Good! So-so? Why?
(3)Let’s act
You like dubbing very well but do you want to act it out? Please practice with your partner first. When you are acting please pay attention to these rules. You can choose read/ recite/act/creative . Let’s begin. You did a good job.
(4)Game- fill in the blank
Let’s the story, let’s review how to describe the elephant, Fill in the blank.
设计意图:整体感知对话后,逐句模仿学习,每放一遍就让一名学生跟读,如读音不准,可以反复听并跟读,强调模仿语音语调。意在让学生反复受到标准语言的刺激,反复的语言输入下,自然地说出标准的语言。在此基础上通过
PK的形式,让学生挑战配音和表演,即激发了他们说的兴趣,又能够培养孩子的团队合作精神,竞争意识。最后在通过一个填空的环节,复习巩固课文内容,让学生有一个语言输出过程。
Step 4 Production
(1)Game ---Match!
Look at these pictures, can you describe them?
This time, let’s play a game, match it.
(2)Game- I say, you draw
I need a student come here, draw a face. And other students you see the picture, and describe it. Let’s see what can you draw and can you guess what it is.
设计意图:通过连线游戏,拓展学生说的语言,运用到实际生活中去。在通过一个画画的游戏,渗透情感,每个人看事物和看人的观点是不同的,所以我们要以欣赏的目光去看待周围的人和事。
Step 5 Homework
1.熟读课文。(必做)
2.和家人或朋友描述一个动物。(选做)
设计意图:让不同层次的学生完成不同难度的作业,给优等生展示自己的机会,给学困生提高自我的机会。
