而这类题型的续写涉及到对人物的故事“接龙”，人物故事中会产生对话和行为，体现在作文中就有动作的描写，因此，对于读后续写的题型，动作描写的部分是重中之重，英语教师要如何帮助高中学生提高对动作描写的能力，便是如今值得思考的问题。
本文将对读后续写的现状和动作描写的应对策略进行具体的论述。
一、高中英语读后续写现状1.阅读部分选材特点从2016年的浙江高考开始，读后续写就已经横空出世进入了高考范围，如今的读后续写还走进了新高考地区的高中考生。
这些文章大多是记叙文故事类还有夹叙夹议的文章，不过这样的文章听起来比较简单，其中的故事情节却比较曲折起伏，读起来耐人寻味，但如果学生的英语阅读能力较弱，对这样的题型就很难找到突破口，不过这类短文的故事线索还比较有逻辑性。
因此，优劣参半，学生在英语的高考中需要经历两个作文，比以往的高考作文难度系数高了很多，就好比是对原创作者的小说进行续写，还需要有良好的创意和想象力。
2.续写部分难度较大对于读写部分，新高考地区的要求是进行150词的续写，而这部分的续写分为两个部分，每一段的开头也已经被写好，所以，考生的想象力和创造性是被局限在这些固定的开口之后的续写部分，按照两部分满足150词的要求，每一部分应该完成75词，学生如果两部分词数相加不足130字，会被扣掉两分，因此，学生在进行读后续写的时候，切不可字数不够，胡乱去凑。
