要做好这几点对于初中生来说具有非常大的挑战性,由此导致初中生英语口语能力差的原因主要有以下几点:1.中西方语言的巨大差异。

英语是世界各国人民进行交往的一种工具。
中学英语的教学指导原则是学以致用。
运用英语就是要把所学的语音、语法的词汇有机地结合起来,按照其特有的搭配方式和语言习惯,用于实践中。
培养和提高英语口语表达能力的唯一途径就是大量实践。
只有大量地去实践,去开口说,才能逐渐形成技能。
练习的机会越多,语感就会越强,口语就会越熟练。
培养和提高英语口语表达能力的方法很多,结合具体教学实际,我总结了以下几点:
一、值日生报告时的自由讲话(free talk)
让每个学生轮流充当值日生,每节课前作free talk,指导学生提前作准备,所选择的free talk要有个题目,谈话内容要围绕该题目进行,要利用自己平时课内外所学到的知识加以组织,从课内外的阅读里摄“营养”,积极运用所学的语言材料,加以融会贯通。
自由谈话时。
尽可能地做到连贯地表达意思,语音、语调要自然。
指导学生不要紧张,速度可放慢点,语调缓和一些,尽量开动
脑筋,逐渐就会平静下来。
如下面一段free talk
i’m on duty.my neme is zhao. i’m sixteen.there are 46 students in our class, tweny-four of them are boys and twenty - two are girls.we are all present. today is september 15,1993,tuesday.

坚持值日生的free talk,每学期学生至少有2-3次机会上台来表演,教师要容忍学生掌握有关语言规范的模糊性,从而培养学生开口讲的勇气。
这样,既促进了学生的积极性,也锻炼了学生的口语表达能力。
二复述
复述是口语表达的一种方式,它能促进人的思维,增强人的记
忆力,具体可以考虑以下的方式:
1、转述他人的话
转述是用自己的语言叙述他人口述的材料。
如:
(1)t: i think you are a good student.
s: you think i am a good student.
(2)t: i believe you will answer every question.
s : you believe we will answer every question.
(3)t:“do you have good eyesight,young man?”asked the caption?
s: the caption asked the young man if he had good eyesight.
2、复述课文
复述课文要由易到难,逐步提高。
最初复述课文时。
以记忆性的复述为主,尽量使用课文中的词语、句型和习惯方法。
复述课文,要避免背书现象。
复述课文可按照提纲叙述,老师提出主题,叫学生先拟提纲,然后按提纲叙述。
可按一条主线进行,也可以由教师直接提出提纲,再叫学生叙述。
如:pep book2 lesson 8我找出重点词汇、句型让学生进行复述:
saturday –get up—get—ready—feel afraid of...用一般过去时(时态)。
总之,复述课文是提高口语表达的好方法,要求学生认真去准备,提前去查找一些资料,补充和完善复述的内容,持之以恒,这
样不仅能丰富语言知识,也锻炼了学生的思维能力,组织语言的能力和口语表达能力。
