在现实的初中英语教学中,我们一再强调要为学生打好英语基础,要落实在听、说、读、写的基本技能上,然而在落实时却没那么容易。
尤其是英语的“说”,即英语口语,更是“软肋”。
从学生方面看,学英语时学生喜欢听,也擅长写,出声朗读则感到困难,脱口说更是难为情,几乎成了“哑巴英语”,这是学英语的语言环境长期不适合而致使学生缺乏兴趣造成的。

小学英语有效诵读学习与研究》的研究成果报告《小学英语有效诵读学习与研究》是我校教学研究2012.6—2013.6年度立项课题,课题研究经过一年的实践和研究,已基本完成了前期研究任务,已进入研究中期。
现将我们前期的研究成果报告如下:一、问题的提出有效诵读对于学生学好英语的重要性是不言而喻的,作为一线小学英语教师,在日常教学中我们更是深切地体会到这点,可以说诵读是学好英语的必要手段,但在教学中我们发现学生存在着“哑巴英语”现象,究其原因主要还是学生的诵读训练不过关,诵读习惯未形成所致。
全国基础教育外语教学研究资助金项目2012.9—2013.6年度立项课题申请时,我们结合农村小学英语教学的特点,立足于我校基础教育改革大背景,紧紧围绕英语课程标准,确立了以小学英语有效诵读为研究重点的科研课题。
二、现状调查在初期我们通过制定问卷、口头调查、观察对比等发现学生普遍对英语诵读重视仅限于口头而未付诸于行动,主动诵读英语的习惯几乎没有,能够做到诵读的部分学生,也是在家长、老师的督促下不得已而为之,学生英语诵读习惯不稳定,部分学生根本没有英语诵读的习惯,更谈不上正确的诵读方法和技巧了。
课题组成员通过研究,结合学校工作的实际,决定从学校、家庭、假日充分利用各种有效的时间锻炼学生的语言,创设语言氛围,提供诵读材料,具体诵读要求,组织训练及指导诵读等,使得课题研究得以顺利开展,取得了初步成绩。
三、研究结论《小学英语有效诵读与研究》经过前期的研究与试验,在学生英语诵读习惯的形成,英语素养的提升及学生人格的发展和教师自身业务和科研能力的提高等方面都取得了一定的成效。
(一)学生英语诵读的习惯初步形成实验初期阶段,我们制定了前测试题,并对所选取的实验对象进行诊断性测试,目的在于了解实验起点,收集资料,掌握学生诵读的现状。
前测调查显示,有41%被测者不喜欢英语,没有主动诵读习惯;被测者诵读能力普遍较差。
通过研究前测情况,我们掌握了学生当前诵读现状及形成原因,确立了具体的研究策略及实施步骤。

课题应用推广背景
《提高国际化经营人才英语口语能力》课题是以2008年 上半年中石化国际化经营人才英语培训班学员为观察对象, 结合国际化经营人才学习英语的情况展开调查并从中发现和 解决问题,主要以研究如何提高英语口语能力为主线,为在 国际化经营人才英语培训中如何提高英语口语教学进行有益 的尝试和研究所取得的课题成果,该成果获得了处2008年 课题研究二等奖。按照课题研究“研究目的以应用为主”的 原则,我们认真开展了推广应用工作,在2008年下半年第 2期以及2009年上半年第3期国际化经营人才英语培训中应 用该成果。
中口语部分学员所取得的成绩进行分析,尽管相对入学前口语成 绩大幅度提高,但我们发现大部分学员口语成绩仍不是很理想。
口语部分满分50分,学员口语平均成绩不到30分,还有一名学
员口语成绩不及格(24分),这是非常严峻的现实,迫切需要在 今后的国际化人才英语培训中对研究成果加以推广应用以有效提 高口语成绩。
英语口语教学的规律,切实提高英语口语教学能力,而且
可以引导所有英语教师参与教科研,增强英语教师的教科 研水平。
